I did door-to-door polling for the GOP a few weeks prior to 2016 election here in Tallahassee, FL. Of course, I wore my Trump shirt...and that obviously made a lot of people really angry at me right away. But I just explained to them I was only there to take a poll and not push for any candidates or try to convince them of anything. That usually changed their attitude pretty quickly.

Election night was the same night that my then fiance and I were going to be apart for a bit due to long distance stuff, and I cried so much because I thought I was temporarily losing my fiance and losing the election.
