Not really slam...but the really belligerent ones would open the door and go, "Oh hell no, get out of here." <shut door>
One lady whom I called her by her full name when she answered the door, said, "It's illegal for you to have that information. How did you get my voter name and party?"
"Uhhh...ma'am, voter registration is public information, unless you file with the courts to have your information personally suppressed."
@Logan Silver was born in East Lansing, Michigan, the son of Sally (née Thrun), a community activist, and Brian David Silver, a former chair of the political science department at Michigan State University.[13][14] Silver's mother's family, of English and German descent, includes several distinguished men and women, including his maternal great-grandfather, Harmon Lewis, who was president of the Alcoa Steamship Company, Inc.[15] Silver has described himself as "half-Jewish".[15][16]
Hahahaha, Phillip.
That reminds me of the customers when I worked at Walgreens as a teenager who would emphatically say no to giving me their email, phone number, or any information about them. Of course yours is different and worse.
@Selma is that Nate Silner?
yes
ah I see
I was confused at first as well
he said today the odds of the dems taking the house are less than 50%
Ossof lost, for the record
@Logan Nate Silver: "Math is dead" no he was just using it wrong
probably not much. the candidates are mostly shit tier anyway. we need to get into everything - politics & society mostly
Also can leave a positive impression on a voter. Have had many people come to me saying they’re voting for the candidate I was helping out just because they met him
The freemasons for work & as an extra layer of insulation against things like doxxing
We need to have a vice grip on repubilcan politics
I know where to find the Masonic hall here in town
Yeah get to know some masons
theyre usually very private about being masons
Make sure to eat pumpkin ice cream this Thanksgiving season. It's implicitly white because it's dairy and because it's pumpkin flavored!
However, all you really have to do to join is ask: they do not extend membership
I've found _one_ guy who was a mason. and I figured that out from the sticker on his car
(it was a really small sticker)
Canvassing is probably beneficial so long as you are very polite with those who don't want to talk. If nothing else, volunteering can help you get a say with your local GOP
within the masons though "a mason always comes first" - the masons are an enormous wellspring of opportunities and resources. If we control the masons: "a white mason always comes first"
masons are almost all boomers too
Mason hall is right across the street from my school
ask to join & make sure you have a reason why for when they ask you why
Washington was something like a 31st degree mason
I guess saying "I want to control politics" isn't a good reason to join
What would a good reason be
The contact hypothesis has proven to be highly effective in alleviating prejudice directed toward homosexuals.[11] Applying the contact hypothesis to heterosexuals and homosexuals, Herek (1987) found that college students who had pleasant interactions with a homosexual tend to generalize from that experience and accept homosexuals as a group.[12] Herek and Glunt's (1993) national study of interpersonal contact and heterosexuals' attitudes toward gay men found that increased contact "predicted attitudes toward gay men better than did any other demographic or social psychological variable" (p. 239); such variables included gender, race, age, education, geographic residence, marital status, number of children, religion and political ideology.[13] Herek and Capitanio (1996) found that contact experiences with two or three homosexuals are associated with more favorable attitudes than are contact experiences with only one individual.[14]
Almost all the republican local groups are extremely thirsty for new blood too - all you have to do is show up and make friends
