But for the most part it's usually the old SA flag and two boer republics( transvaal and the OVS) flags thst you will see afrikaners use,they were independent countries recognised by the world,the others were short lived "republics".

@Malcolm the Seceder More people also use the" 4 kleur" (transvaal)than the OVS flag. The people who lived in the apartheid era prefer to use the old SA flag than the boer republic flags. The younger generation i would say prefer all 3 flags as it a reflection of our entire history so they are not too attached to just one,hoewever i do see the 4 kleur mentioned more with younger folk born after apartheid. I hope that explains it a bit
