I dont get the trump supporter argument, they allege some widespread multilevel massive voter fraud ring. Then when asked for evidence or proof they just point to more allegations. The whole rudy gulianni press conference just brought up old allegations that were kicked out of court (watchers asked to leave , however that case was dismissed as there were republican poll watchers in the room and never left for example). What is there strongest case? They have lost all but 1 of there 31 cases. When does this just become a strategy to bog the courts up long enough to kick it to the house in hopes they select trump.
Just bypassing any course of fact finding and getting a bunch of house members to decide is very disingenuous if you claim you have facts or proof. Skirting people who can actually ask for facts or proof and going to people who are not required to make fact based decisions, like the house, (they decide based on party lines). I guess from now on elections will be decided by the house
Votes no longer matter
In florida the recount went from 2000 to 300
Its not uncommon to find more votes during a recount
Also as the population grows you should expect found ballots to scale up with a recount
That doesnโt point to fraud. Its been 20 years since 2000 and the population has increased greatly.
So you would expect recount numbers of found ballots to also increase
The trump legal team is using these irregularities as evidence of fraud in their attempts to over turn the election. Thats why i brought up fraud
Both conservative judges?
No idea
Oh , so you are saying they were preparing to lose and use the supreme court
Yeah
I doubt it will get to the supreme court or if they will even hear it however
Thats a very deep conspiracy
I thought you were trying to say trump got these people to intentionally kick out poll watchers so they could levy allegations to invalidate the results based on something they orchestrated
The whole poll watchers having meaningful access was dismissed in court
There were republican watchers in the room
Its a frivolous case
The poll watchers trump keeps referring to were the watchers off the street you signed up to watch
No the judge in that case asked were there republican poll watchers in that room , the lawyer replied โthere was a non zero number of republican poll watchers in the roomโ . Then the case was dismissed
Its a frivolous case that got tossed. They were allowed to be within 6 feet after however that is not enough to invalidate those votes
Coronavirus
Spacing
People constantly breaking the 6 feet rule and being obstructive
Yes after
If the entire republican case of invalidating votes is based on this 20 foot rule its a weak case.
The whole point of my diatribe was to point out this.
1. Gulliani said โcourts decide electionsโ
2. Then his real strategy is to bog the courts with frivolous lawsuits thus bypassing the only institution that is bound by facts and evidence and turning the decision over to the court of public opinion. And the ultimate decision being made by people who are not bound by the facts , proof or the law and just decide based on party lines
@Adam135 yeah after they got a phone call from trump. They know they cant actually rescind their certification and even if they could the secretary of state would certify it anyways. That whole maneuver was just more political theaters to sway public opinion, unbalanced counties happen every election and have never been grounds to not certify. Those same election officials even stated they would be fine with certifying a county that was even more off than Wayne county. That should tell you their decision has nothing to do with a unbalanced county.
Im going off what the election offical said in regards to one county being more out of balance and being fine with certifying that but not Wayne county which was less out of balance. Not to mention being out of balance is not a criteria used to not certify because out of balance counties happen every election and hey get certified anyways.
Duress has nothing to do with this
Yeah their feelings carries less weight then their actions and rationale they gave being contradictory
It has
Its just political theater on their part
The election officials that is
Ok
New ballots coming in?
Oh yeah the whole naked ballot thing
They were ruling on that before the election
Republican gop lawmakers were trying to invalidate those
Before the election
Im talking about the naked ballot thing not extending the deadline
The extended deadline thing only effects 10000 voted
No
It has something to do with the envelope
Also how can a envelope not have a date
I guess maybe if it was dropped in a ballot box
But all the ballots are collected on a certain date
The post office usually marks dates on envelopes
The ballots boxes stop collecting ballots on close of election day
I believe
Anyways I g2g
Did any actual evidence of this dominon thing get argued in court yet
@NoobDad wasnโt he a republican candidate for something? So far a quick read shows this evidence to not be promising
I didnโt see the comparison chart , did you adjust for the Michigan and Minnesota mix up. Were they using the right data https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/526926-trump-lawyers-cited-minnesota-counties-in-affidavit-about-michigan-report @NoobDad
@NoobDad I am having a tough time verifying any information he has on his chart. Is that from 2020 presidential election ? The slide before was talking about 2018.
An affidavit doesnโt make you beholden to the court it makes you beholden to the lawyer you signed the affidavits over to. So the lawyer can go after you if the affidavit is false not the court @NoobDad
Wait they donโt even use the dominon software in texas? I mean they did the Georgia recount and found no difference @NoobDad
@Maw only if you get dragged into court based on your affidavit then you get sworn in. The current state of an affidavit is not a sworn statement
@NoobDad they did a hand count in Georgia with physical ballots. The theory is that ballots were brought in late at night. Once the ballot is at the polling station the envelope with the name of the voter is thrown out. There is no way to prove this theory
Yeah but the person is not held responsible until they get to court to testify
The lawyer that has the affidavit to can go after the person that made the affidavit if he finds out they lied. There is no way trumps lawyers are going after these people
I see @TaLoN132
@Maw this is the one rare occasion of when a trump lawyer appealed to these affidavits in court. https://www.google.com/amp/s/lawandcrime.com/2020-election/trump-campaign-lawyer-admits-to-judge-our-search-for-evidence-of-fraud-produced-obvious-lies-and-spam/amp/
You dont get in trouble if they cant be disproven, which I guess not a very high bar for it being true
And i dont think this russel guy is swearing election fraud actually happened in 2020 just that itโs possible. Which I guess anything is possible. @Maw
If you say something that cant be disproven or is just a opinion that doesnโt carry much weight. Thats why many of these affidavits werenโt even used in court @Maw
@Zuluzeit exactly its just theater
I dont think anyone disagrees with that @Maw My take is that the court wont go after them but the lawyer can if he chooses to and feels like he was lied to. That maybe untrue ill have to find where I saw that
Well my bigger point is that the lawyers themselves knew and felt the affidavits they were presenting to the court were full of lies and spam according to the article I linked. @Maw
And no one got in trouble
I think all those cases were thrown out without getting to discovery
@TaLoN132 yeah, I agree. I hope somehow at the very least you (people in general not specifically you) can get some hard core trump supporters who believe the election was stolen to acknowledge that
Everyone knew about the red mirage , I donโt get why people are surprised to wake up to see different results.
No more sus than another election
Retail stores have a certain percentage allotted to fraud and abuse every year , elections are similar in that regard
Yeah
Yeah theft from both customers and employees stealing and breaking stuff
When I was a kid I worked at pier one and this lady came in the store and broke like a 300 dollar glass table
She felt bad but we didnt charge her and just cleaned it up
My manager broke a glass ball thing while fucking around
What a klutz
Lol the deep state manager
Man the maga crowd has turned on tucker gov Kemp
How are they gonna prove trump was not involved in this dominion conspiracy
I like to think in my own fan fiction of this election that gulianni and Powell are gonna actually discover this dominion voting machine thing is true but realize trump used it in in 2016 or that trump used it in 2020 but the votes were so overwhelmingly Biden the algorithm broke (using the current logic Powell is trowing out)
Who is to say since we are in weirdoville anyways
They already presented their case in court with the kraken thing and it was thrown out @Repeat
Yeah lol @Zuluzeit
They still have to present evidence and usually appeals courts donโt accept any new evidence , their current evidence is meritless @Repeat
I think trumps plan and R & R alluded to is just to make a mess of everything and just declare that there was fraud. Then just kick it to the house where they just vote on party lines. So they bypass any fact finding portion and ignore the initial โcourts decide electionsโ thing because they have nothing that actually holds up in court
@Repeat sounds like trump is feigning fraud to subvert a democratic election
Yeah the trump fans will just come up with some other conspiracy to justify any road blocks
@Repeat not really in this case trump is the one being crooked by trying to baselessly undermine a democratic election
Like who
And for what
For what though
?
How is making up baseless claims about fraud just to then declare fraud even after the courts reject your claims a good thing? This means every election the loser will use the same tactic as long as they have the house, this sets a precedent that votes donโt matter in the general election the house decides the election every time @GregInHouston2
@Repeat for what reason do you want people arrested for
