What are some possible repercussions should Trump actually get an election victory via House Delegations
aside from civil unrest
well, I had fun reading. Thank you.
I dont get the trump supporter argument, they allege some widespread multilevel massive voter fraud ring. Then when asked for evidence or proof they just point to more allegations. The whole rudy gulianni press conference just brought up old allegations that were kicked out of court (watchers asked to leave , however that case was dismissed as there were republican poll watchers in the room and never left for example). What is there strongest case? They have lost all but 1 of there 31 cases. When does this just become a strategy to bog the courts up long enough to kick it to the house in hopes they select trump.
It's likely that was always the strategy
Just bypassing any course of fact finding and getting a bunch of house members to decide is very disingenuous if you claim you have facts or proof. Skirting people who can actually ask for facts or proof and going to people who are not required to make fact based decisions, like the house, (they decide based on party lines). I guess from now on elections will be decided by the house
Votes no longer matter
@james j, you just advanced to level 1!
but there's a lot of skepticism on both sides right now. In Georgia they just found additional votes on hard drives that were never uploaded, it's unlikely that it'll flip GA, but it was historical in that it gave Trump a net 800 gain from one county whereas most recounts tend to be in the low hundreds when looking at the state as a whole
Votes that wouldn't have been found otherwise if they didn't inquire
In florida the recount went from 2000 to 300
Its not uncommon to find more votes during a recount
Also as the population grows you should expect found ballots to scale up with a recount
Right, but I'm talking about just one county alone. Then again it could just because of ballots they didn't initially knew they had
That doesn’t point to fraud. Its been 20 years since 2000 and the population has increased greatly.
I never said there was fraud to begin with
most people are claiming impropriety and human error
In a hand recount or audit I would
The trump legal team is using these irregularities as evidence of fraud in their attempts to over turn the election. Thats why i brought up fraud
One thing to remember in all this
is to look at Trump's last two SCOTUS picks
Brett and Amy, what do you think they have in common?
Both conservative judges?
not just that
No idea
They worked for Bush's legal team in Bush v Gore
Oh , so you are saying they were preparing to lose and use the supreme court
I'm saying Trump was anticipating it,
like imagine this
imagine you're a lawyer
and arguing your point to a judge,
and reference arguments that judge made years ago
Yeah
I doubt it will get to the supreme court or if they will even hear it however
I'm not saying there's a huge conspiracy, but some things do cast doubt
like why republican poll watchers were denied meaningful access
or for instance, the curing of mail in ballots for some counties, but not allowing ballots to be cured in other counties within the same state
