@Erika Hey! Thank you for all your help. Much appreciated. :)
This series on critical business skills looks great :)
@DCViking No. Just putting it out there as an opportunity. :) I'm taking the Series 7 in December and the 66 in January, so there won't be spare time for much else.
Thanks so much! :)
Thank you! Yes, could definitely use some help with options. Keep getting stops and limits mixed up. Also, are there any tricks to remembering when to use the federal funds rate?
@Darth Thanks, I always forget that FFR is the interbank loan and not based on FRB. The name is seriously misleading. By the way, what study program did you use? I've got both the finra workbook and passperfect.
Useful tips for freezer meals. :)
Well, their product isn't the best. It probably doesn't have anything to do with us.
@Zyzz Recently graduated. Just signed on to a firm as a junior financial advisor. And yourself?
Interesting. What were your experiences with the ibank? What prompted your decision to switch to RE?
@Deleted User Congratulations!!!!! She's so precious!! Do you all have a name yet?
@Kenobi Joe (Bay Area)#8216 Awesome mug! Where did you get that?
@Suomi Stronk Lol thanks. Wow, that was dense...
@Suomi Stronk Love how everyone on this server is awesomely nice. Great community. :)
@Zyzz Hey, thanks for the advice earlier! Just passed the 7!!!!!!
Does anyone have a good review sheet for the Series 66? :)
@ThisIsChris I'm taking it on Friday. Feeling ok about it because it's mainly the same info as the 7. Stuck on requirements for registration and termination. Was your father a day trader?
@HernanCortes Is there a particular region or period of interest?
This isn't exactly what you're looking for, but it's definitely worth a read.
This is incredibly short, but hilarious. A mix of history/philosophy.
Does anyone know where I can find an English translation?
@Sonic Lol that's fantastic!
Confessions by St. Augustine is a fantastic story of redemption.
Confessions (Penguin Classics) https://www.amazon.com/dp/014044114X/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_VMQyAb9RFQZ48
Thanks for the discussion! Have to duck out. Phone call. Nice hearing from everyone.
This is a great primer on hosting events.
Not 'exactly' related to nutrition, but everyone should read at least one primer on wine.
Top rec as a Valentine's Day present. ♥️
So game if anyone is interested in space exploration!
@BryceB-ND Yes! What's the question?
This is a similar example.
Pretty sure 8 is correct
Would just be the average
What's the other question?
Hmm. Send pic of question
Ok so the equation for AI might be
cash flow (1-(days/total days in coupon period))
Idk that helps
Bonds usually pay interest on the first day of January and July
That's usually what semiannual implies.
This is a great primer on the ideological and political forces that shaped modern France.

@Marseille Great recommendation!
@John O - Yep. And the 'sequel', modern degenerates.
@John O - Lol, nah. Just too much free time
@Rick Where can you find the Duncan podcast? Is that on YouTube?
@Rick Nice! Does it go all the way until the fall?
@Evan - NJ What a fantastic grandma!
Fantastic work on the history of Israeli intelligence. In chapter 3, the author talks about reprisals against Germans after the Second World War.
@JC17-OR This is fantastic! Thanks for sharing.
Idk where to put this, but definitely a fantastic book.
The comments on this piece are extremely uplifting. I.E.'s banner in S.F. was timely.
Keep up the good work!
Thanks so much for posting this! Jones is an author who really does his research.
@DeusVolk Interesting. Was she second or third generation?
@Deleted User That's the Libertarian group? What was the name again?
@Daniel Turch To your point on Catholicism
"As Aquinas recognized in De Regno, “Intercourse with foreigners, according to Aristotle’s Politics, is particularly harmful to civic custom. For it is inevitable that strangers, brought up under other laws and customs, will in many cases act as the citizens are not wont to act and thus, since the citizens are drawn by their example to act likewise, their own civic life is upset.” For Aquinas, it is political habits that matter, not merely approval of abstract principles. Unbridled immigration threatens the continuity of political habits that is essential to the survival of a nation."
We should start a fund for book-buying
@Deleted User Absolutely fantastic!
@D_R_K_V JP argues concepts and theories. JT bases his positions in hard facts and data.
@Deleted User Train already left that station
Exactly! He takes the extra step and notes how mass migration pushes down blue collar wages, thereby harming the native low-IQ community. To be "pro-black" is to oppose almost all net-positive immigration.
@Deleted User Right! Who could have expected Warski to flip like that?
Anyone who gives a fair platform to JT is pretty much redeemed.
Although, to be fair, that's not exactly proof
@Zyzz Hmm. Lemme look through the collection.
@Karl Definitely a great recommendation.
He hasn't read it?? But good idea. Hope that goes well.
Sorry, can't go. Unfortunately, there are a lot of reasons. Hope you all have a fantastic time!
This is the first part of a set which is a sweeping overview of Western development. Also slightly biased.
This is the second book in a series that's older and more detailed. Not a long read if you commit.
If you have the money, I would consider picking up a set of history books by Will and Ariel Durant. Biased (easy to clear through) but incredibly holistic. The only part that's completely inaccurate is in relation to the French Revolution.
Lastly, this might be almost unfindable, but it's a four part series on the history of the world (really just the West). Written in 1890. Mildly anti-Catholic, so be warned. Absolutely fantastic in depth.
Also! Forgot! This is a wonderful overview of the people, places, and ideas that have shaped the Western cultural landscape.
This one is great too, in terms of familiarizing oneself with differences in regional culture.
If anyone is interested, some of these books are out for loan, so feel free to message if you want one to borrow. @everyone
This is an absolutely essential series written by Edward Ellis in 1895.
@CarletonJ Actually, I believe this is a condensed version for only $5.71

@CarletonJ If you're adding books, get Uprising by David Irving. Accurate account of the Hungarian Revolution of 1956. (JQ included)
Bonus - if you email him, he'll send you an autographed copy of any of his works. Actually, he responds to any and all emails. Super epic.
Never too early to start thinking about passing wealth on to your children. :)
@John O - That's a great mindset! Super glad to hear it!
I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good book on their Spanish heritage. 🇪🇸
@Zyzz Lol, glad you asked. Just picked this up on Amazon. 100% recommend. There's another good one that I'll post later.
Also, anything by Antonio Primo de Rivera is absolutely essential!

For anyone interested, Gallego is the language of Galicia. It's closer to Portuguese, even though the region is in Spain. (https://www.omniglot.com/writing/galician.htm)
There is a Galician nationalist newspaper published in Gallego: El Correo Gallego. (http://www.elcorreogallego.es)
For anyone interested in learning Spanish, Duolingo is a great primary.
If you are interested in intermediate or learning by immersion, you might want to look into reading some essays by Juan Donoso Cortez; Spanish author, conservative and Catholic political theorist, and diplomat.
Counter-currents posted an article about him (https://www.counter-currents.com/2010/12/juan-donoso-cortes/)
For learning purposes, here is the complete text of "Essays on Catholicism, Liberalism and Socialism" in Spanish.
This blog is gold.
What's everyone's opinion on marking up books? Like highlighting and such.

@Olivia M I'm not sure about that. He has it for a desktop. Great question though. 😃
@everyone The Mises Institute has hundreds of books that are free to download in PDF form. Yes, this is a free service and there are no copyright restrictions. (https://mises.org/library/books)
Highly recommend starting with "Liberty or Equality, the Challenge for Our Times" (https://mises.org/library/liberty-or-equality-challenge-our-time)
Also, "Democracy, the God that Failed" by Hans Hoppe is amazing. (https://mises.org/library/democracy-god-failed-1)
Great point, but what about for older books?

Not scientifically verified, but interesting implications.
@Zyzz Hey :) These books all had fantastic reviews.
@Deleted User That would be epic! Please send.
@Olivia M Looks fantastic!
JBS might be a little out there, but here is a list of conservative-inclined companies.
Definitive text on Hungarian Revolution. Woke on jq.

Middle two are good primers on cultural degeneracy in America.
Great for when you want to skim the classics.
That's fascinating! Changing one premise shifted an entire civilization. Where'd you find this gem? :)
@Gene Fillmore Welcome! Great to have you onboard!
@MasonDixon Campaign in Russia by Leon Degrelle
@CarletonJ 100% agree. Can't get through it without sobbing.
Can anyone recommend a book on the Council on Foreign Relations. Thanks!!
You're right. That would take us back to the height of the Cold War paranoia, when neoconservatism was beginning to infect the Republican establishment.
Perfect. Lol, that would be the ultimate infiltration project.
@everyone Hello. I have a tentative summer internship opportunity in the financial field. Looking for a college student. No experience required. DM if interested. (Pennsylvania)
