I've read that book, it's excellent, and the parallels to today are fairly obvious even to someone who does not think about immigration in the same way we do.
For modern works, anything by Carl Schmitt is good if you want a critique of liberalism and parliamentary democracy from a pro-authoritarian, fascistic point of view. I'd recommend Concept of the Political, it's short and persuasive. Overnight I became more or less a fascist.
Isn't he Jewish? My Jewdar went off a few times when he showed his face
If JT wins, which I think he will...legitimizing the concept of white identity among JPs audience would be incredible
Yep, Peterson will have to concede all the premises and somehow reach a different conclusion. "Yes, your collective interests are threatened by demographic change, but be an individualist bro!" is what I expect Peterson will end up maintaining.
Point taken
For those interested in a cultural history of Europe, I recommend From Dawn to Decadence by Jacques Barzun. Here is an excerpt.
^The chapter on Hobsbawm is really good, it discusses the extrapolation of the oppressor/oppressed paradigm from basic dialectic materialism to other disciplines. Scruton's a bit of a milquetoast conservative but he does a good analysis.
