@Mush Though 'feminism is a religion' gets used as a metaphor a lot, I don't think it's helpful. Feminism is actually a fully secular political ideology with an anti-religious streak that surfaces from time to time. If you want a better comparison, it has a whole lot more in common with racism - and feminists act almost spookily like students did during the Maoist Cultural Revolution. If you want something to compare it to - I'd say those are the best shots. Comparing it to religion tends to backfire as a religious person will think you are implying either a) that feminism is like Christianity, and therefore a social good concerned with equality. Or b) that you just don't like religion and are trying to bundle them together. This is bad regardless of if you are talking to a feminist or an MRA. Either way, the conversation is now about religion and feminism is on the back seat looking smug because it dodged a bullet. In other words, it's best to just show them this:
@basedgringo Religion is a form of spiritual ideology, not the other way around. Everything we say and do has a level of ideology to it. There is a Men's Rights ideology too, and we are part of it..
That said feminism is an extreme ideology, and I think it's directors knows what it's doing

Ideology is something that can supplant religion, and I agree that feminism is doing so
But that doesn't make it a religion
Neither does having a religion

You could call them first circle initiates if you want. But for me, it's a little too lose to call the whole movement a cult
Rad fem definitely is a secular cult - no doubt about that.
But, as I said, they are an ideology - not a religion.

I should really pick this up later, but I think comparing them to racists is a good strategy.

Denouncing ideals is not unique to religion. It's a factor in all ideologies.
And they absolutely do say "we aren't against black people! We just want them to go back and live in their own country!" @Mush

I'd say it depends on the person. Talking therapy helps some, but some people really need pratical solutions or an hour of gaming.
I'm sure you can find someone who bucks the trend. Every average has an outlier, and every rule an exception. ๐

Literally anything that can shoot down incoming nukes would solve the problem.
I think that it's more true to say militant feminists have no empathy for men at all and that they are basically narcists who think men hate them back, but that's not the same as saying all women.

@S8N You are in luck! We just had a nice win. A men's rights group got a court to rule that it is unconstitutional to force men but not women to be drafted - and for added humour, feminists tried to claim it's their victory!
Meanwhile, a bunch suddenly started asking "do we really need the draft in this day and age" *sweatting*
