Any childfree men out here?

Obviously not all women are the same, but my god can some women be extremely vile.

Like, the type of abuse that stems from men in general it's physical, whereas the general type of abuse that stems from women is psychological

and honestly, having experienced both (by both sexes) I don't know which is worse, I'd wager ... psychological

So, any childfree men around here? 😛

Shit I don’t know if this belongs here but man, the Internet is changing in weird ways.

Wherever I go I feel like I don’t belong.

To clarify, I’ve no problem with people who like anime, and I understand why they like it. But I start having a problem when the chats I’m in start getting plagued by weeb talk, shit that could be considered straight out of /r/creepyasterisks

Or full of “uwu” and “owo” and whatever the hell else.

Apparently I don’t belong on most of servers if I wanna have serious discussions, and that basically means talking about cars, motorcycles, movies, games, etc.

No it all has to be “ironic” discussions in whatever fucking way they deem right. Whether it is creepy talk or not.

I just wanna be able to join a fucking gaming server and talk about the game and other shit without the “ironic” talk. Which honestly in my mind I fucking doubt it’s ironic at this point.

Kind of how flat earth started as an ironic movement but then it progressed to being real for some people

Is it really that ducking weird that I want normal discussions?

And to top it off, some dude and I were quarreling and I figured “hey, I’ll do the manly thing, take the high road and tell them I’ve no grudge against them just because we have different opinions”

All he does is reply “you’re weird as hell dude”

Which is fine, the fact that people want different things. As they say, if everyone wanted the same thing life would be boring.

I suggested having two separate channels, one where more real discussions were taking place and one where they can shitpost all they want. Been mocked and ignored.

The server I’m talking about is the apex legends server. I’m there to meet new people who share the same interest as me (apex legends the game) and find people to play with, but at the same time I wanted to also get to know people better you know, and be a part of a community.

But nooope, I’m the weird one who should gtfo.

At the risk of this sounding straight out of /r/niceguys I’ll go ahead and say It anyway.

I feel like being nice to people just@comes around to bite me in the ass more than it is rewarding. All I wanna do is be kind to others and you know, help them out yada yada, I ask for nothing but a bit of respect in return.

But no. I keep getting bit in the ass whether it’s IRL or on the internet. Fuck should I do? Become rude and cold to people?? It just ain’t in my nature.

But then what’s the point if you treat people with respect and they just treat you like shit?

I dunno but where I’m from originally, showing respect to others means you should be respected back. It’s just how I grew up and how it is in my home country.

And it’s really just.. common sense, treat people the way you wanna be treated.

I don’t think it’s inherently wrong to ask for respect in return if you’re being respectful with people.

It’s not like I’m doing it for the sake of attention.

Maybe so. Either way, thanks for listening to my ramblings. Feel a bit better.
