What do you guys think of memorizing lines and arguments and going out to a campus with a megaphone? These flyers take up space and show that we're active. But are we really recruiting that many people from it?

@Wotan Reborn, I wouldn't recommend sitting down, starting from scratch, and coming up with scripted things to memorize. Instead, when good phrases come to you, remember them--maybe write them down--and dedicate those to memory. For example, during my short speech above, it occurred to me that, in the future, I need to remember to point out that we never agreed to be replaced, and that, every time we were asked, we opposed it. A lot of these turns of phrase are memetic, and you want to be saying them as if they are truly inspired and natural, not as if you are reading from a script.
^ If you watch talks given by authors on their books, you'll come to realize they are all the same
they are not scripted, but they cover the same ground and the same talking points
@Wotan Reborn 100% they are. The avenues people list that brought them to IE recently are : Cville, Berkeley, Red Ice Radio, Campus Flyers (and the fallout from that).
I'm just saying have no problem going to an open campus and practicing my free speech. All the flyers were taken down after about 3 hours at UNLV. I was going to flyer the strip and then the shooting happened.
Maybe do both? I guess I could get doxed by doing that.
