Iโ€™m certainly aware of the benefit certain vaccines have had, but Iโ€™m also wary of others. Donโ€™t want to go all tin foil hat on everyone but just the thought of my kid being injected with all that shit is driving me up a wall, especially as the date nears when sheโ€™s supposed to start getting them.

2018-11-18 18:05:45 UTC

I need to look at the vax schedule again and do some more research on them

2018-11-18 18:08:23 UTC

@Prestor John what are the โ€œbig vaccinesโ€?

2018-11-18 22:09:09 UTC

@Grossly Incandescent MMR is a biggy. Measles is bad news. Hep B vaccine is fake news. How can an infant contract hep b?
My wife is the expert though I just listen to what she says on this matter.

@Wood-Ape - OK/MN what happened at the camp? Was everyone ok?

2018-11-18 22:11:58 UTC

@Prestor John three kids got rubella who hadn't had it. We think an unvaccinated kid gave it to some other unvaxxed.

2018-11-18 22:13:06 UTC

I don't think the kids passed away. But they were removed.

2018-11-18 22:13:31 UTC

One or more may have been vaxxed. The vaccines are not even close to 100% effective.

2018-11-18 22:33:18 UTC

@Prestor John I see. The carrier that transmitted may have been vaccinated without symptoms.

The reason I suspect more than one youth in the equation was unvaccinated is that it was a very hippy camp in the PNW

2018-11-18 22:34:14 UTC

Although vaccine-skepticism is one of those rare interesting areas where far right and far left agree. *horse shoe intensifies*

2018-11-18 22:41:51 UTC

The far left and far right tend to agree on what the problems are, just not the solutions @Wood-Ape - OK/MN

2018-11-18 23:16:01 UTC

We recently had some families over for brunch. All the wives are part of a parenting group online. Pretty hippie divvy stuff including vaccine skepticism, natural revenues, coskeeping etc. I assumed I would be the odd man out but only one of the dads was a shit lib and the others were mostly on the Tucker train.

2018-11-18 23:39:41 UTC

Hippy/Trad solidarity now! lol

2018-11-18 23:47:19 UTC

@Prestor John Choo choo!

2018-11-19 00:31:00 UTC

MMR and tdap seem good.
Flu shot not needed.

2018-11-19 00:31:32 UTC

^ idk about MMR

2018-11-19 00:32:03 UTC

Maybe if you separate the different aspects and spread them out.

2018-11-19 01:53:15 UTC

Also you f your kid has the MTHFR mutation you should be aware that it is linked to adverse reaction to vaccines and heavy metals in general. Signs of the mutation are:
a stork bite on the back of her neck (nevus simplex or salmon patch) โ€“ get it? thatโ€™s where the stork carriers the baby to you
a stork bite on the eyelids or forehead, although many people call it an angelโ€™s kiss in these locations
a sacral dimple
a tongue-tie
any facial dimples
a strawberry hemangioma
a prominent blue vein on the bridge of her nose

2018-11-19 02:27:26 UTC

Just opened YouTube on my phone and was suggested a video related to the flu. I havenโ€™t typed โ€œfluโ€ in months, it must know what I typed here.

That video popped up on my suggested videos this morning also: itโ€™s what started me down this rabbit hole

2018-11-19 02:30:40 UTC

@Prestor John my kid has a huge stork bite

2018-11-19 02:32:15 UTC

Itโ€™s only gotten larger and brighter since I took this picture a few weeks ago

https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/459564946296930324/513904311017930768/image0.jpg

2018-11-19 04:01:36 UTC

@missliterallywho we were big on dr seats but he is pushing hpv vaccine which makes us suspicious.

@Tanner - SC Iโ€™ll do you one better. I was talking about how the groves in my tongue are getting more pronounced, than I went to google it. Typing โ€œGroovโ€ auto populated โ€œgrooves in tongueโ€ as the top result.

2018-11-19 05:48:04 UTC

There is zero credible evidence to suggest that vaccines are harmful except in cases where the immune system is so weak that the vaccine itself gives symptoms. That said, some like the annual flu vaccine are unnecessary. Please don't let your kids get polio though

2018-11-19 05:51:22 UTC

My qualms were never with the โ€œvaccineโ€ itself, more with all the other crap that gets injected with it. Heavy metals like aluminum; Iโ€™m no expert but I just donโ€™t understand the need for that in my tiny little babies bloodstream

2018-11-19 06:10:12 UTC

In related news a whole bunch of our greatest allies dont vax either

2018-11-19 18:49:11 UTC

The typhus outbreak in LA is a prime example of that

2018-11-19 20:23:00 UTC

Unfortunately, it can't always be avoided. Even in a place as white as Montana, your neighbors might catch something on a trip to Disneyland or something

2018-11-26 04:01:07 UTC

@TMatthews what about kids with the mTHFR mutation? My wife claims this increases risk of adverse reaction to the heavy metals in vaccines.

2018-11-28 02:49:17 UTC

Do you guys do Santa? Iโ€™m not keen on lying to the kids but Santa is trad.

2018-11-28 06:07:36 UTC

@Prestor John Saint Nicholas was a real person, it would be weird to make St. Nick the main focus of the entirety of Christmas, but the real Saint Nicholas has had a role in winter holiday celebrations for over a thousand years at this point. It's not as flash-bang as Coca-Cola Santa but the more real version St. Nick is not totally alien or weird to the culture either. http://www.ncregister.com/daily-news/st.-nicholas-reveals-the-true-spirit-of-giving http://www.stnicholascenter.org/pages/gift-giving/

2018-11-29 03:00:37 UTC

I will not tell my future children that Santa is real. I still have a chip on my shoulder about being lied to as a kid about that and other things.

2018-11-29 12:26:20 UTC

@Tanner - SC I felt that way too before red pilling. There is something about tradition that is now appealing. I plan to answer questions with questions. Dad is Santa coming to our house? I donโ€™t know son what do you think? I wonโ€™t squash dreams or fantasies but I will not lie or pass my authority to a coke a cola ad. I think @ThisIsChris โ€˜s Suggestion of Telling the story of ST nick is going to fit in as well.

2018-11-29 13:04:34 UTC

Most of tradition does not involve lying to children. They place a tremendous trust in parents to tell them the truth because thatโ€™s all they have to go on. I wonโ€™t take advantage of that power disparity.

2018-11-29 17:11:32 UTC

@Tanner - SC see i disagree about that, but maybe because ur parent came out and said he wasnt real when u were young? I dont know. But for me we were raised beliveing in Santa and it was great. Eventually we figured it out and it didnt effect us me or my sister

2018-11-29 17:12:08 UTC

And as we got older we would still put from santa on present s to our parents now and then.

2018-11-29 17:12:33 UTC

Guess it was kinda fun to keep playing along.

2018-11-29 17:17:56 UTC

Same here @SuperTomPerry -RI We still continue to put from Santa on certain presents & the kids all know this and are also carrying on the tradition.

2018-11-29 17:18:35 UTC

It also just meant that we knew that present was extra special in its own way too.

2018-12-04 02:41:51 UTC

Has anyone had experience with Freedom Project Academy for home schooling?

2018-12-11 13:17:52 UTC

What are your Thoughts on Thomas the Train Engine: Consumerist BS or Trad hierarchy lesson?

2018-12-11 14:59:29 UTC

Before or after the refugee trains?

2018-12-11 15:13:37 UTC

I grew up on Thomas! Always loved it, hate how theyโ€™re trying to shoe horn multi culti trains into it as of late. Having the old school wooden tracks that can be put together really made me interested in machines and construction as a little boy, so that can be a positive take away if anything

2018-12-11 19:14:56 UTC

@Prestor John As @Grossly Incandescent said, I was a huge fan of Thomas the Tank Engine as a kid. That being said, there is clearly a full-on infiltration campaign going on at any PBS and PBS-like show. While ideally kids wouldn't need characters, realistically speaking I know that's such a thing (I don't know if it's biological or not) but what I'll be doing is eskewing any 19th-21st century characters from Western countries. So for our kids it's going to be a combination of things like Aesop's fables, plus possible East Asian based characters like Mario. East Asian countries are likely to resist the homosexual-industrial complex better than Western ones.

2018-12-13 01:08:24 UTC

Iโ€™ve not seen any ethnic trains except the mechanic. Maybe we only have the old ones.

Thereโ€™s is are dope and the boy loves them. Iโ€™m building a train table for Christmas.

2018-12-13 01:42:13 UTC

Few things capture ye olde "faustian spirit" better than a steam engine hollaring its way through an impassable cliff face in the mountains with a thousand tons of cargo in tow.

2018-12-13 02:58:20 UTC

@Prestor John ethnic trains:

I have a question, stepdaughter is having hard time with potty training 1 of her boys,my grandson. Any suggestions? He won't go 2 in the toilet.

2019-01-23 03:53:44 UTC

Sticker chart, small prizes, candy, etc

2019-01-23 03:57:17 UTC

They have tried that, still having trouble. The other boy was no problem & younger. But her older 1,he just is being difficult.

2019-01-23 03:57:58 UTC

She has even gone on a mommies facebook potty group with no luck.

2019-01-23 03:59:12 UTC

He had to have suppository before and don't want to have to resort to that obviously.

2019-01-23 04:06:19 UTC

Consistency and finding motivators is my suggestion.

2019-01-23 04:07:51 UTC

That's what i was telling her, guess they need to just find the right 1. So will work on,just trying to see if others knew of something they had dealt with that might help.

2019-01-23 04:08:32 UTC

Thanks though!

2019-01-23 04:11:57 UTC

Hey Everyone. I am desperate right now when it comes to my 15 month daughters health. Long story short she had an adverse reaction to her vaccinations at about 6 months old. 2 day near coma. Stopped looking me in the eyes while feeding her week after week month after month, weakness, 0-10 frustration. Development very slow, constantly sick. Started walking about a year but usually sick unable to even crawl, roll over or sustain any energy she has very long. Turns out the GI thinks she has Celiacs Disease which makes sense has all the symptoms. I am just at the end of my rope. All tests came back negative so they need to do an endoscopy. The next appointment isnt for a few weeks. We are at the doctors/ER a few times a weak for 3 months. . She is male nourished lost 3lbs down to 19lbs. Vomiting and diarrhea are a regular thing even on a strict diet. Doctors want us to continue gluten to make sure they can confirm Celiacs in a few weeks or month. Ive been pursuing eastern medicine as well. I am just desperate trying to find any help I can get, thanks. @everyone

Traditional diets with bone broths and good information that is contrary to conventional wisdom. It can give you some insight possibly in what to do to heal a childโ€™s GI tract

2019-01-30 16:36:42 UTC

Itโ€™s good nutritional food that could help heal her and breastfeeding for 2 years helps build a robust child

2019-01-30 23:10:05 UTC

@Smitty83 Iโ€™ll DM you.

2019-02-01 01:49:03 UTC

@Smitty83 did you report to VAERS. I would also consult an attorney. The government has 40 million a year set aside for reactions.

https://vaers.hhs.gov/

Cut the gluten out and all inflammatory foods sugar, non human dairy, and gluten obvi. If she is nursing mom should cut out those this too. Pro biotic and fermented foods to try to restore good gut bacteria. Bone broths. Delay remaining vaccinations.

Just my wifeโ€™s two cents. Sorry man.

2019-02-02 04:44:40 UTC

2019-02-02 04:47:16 UTC

@Smitty83 Oh dear I am so sorry for you and your family. I can only imagine how difficult and scary that must be. There is a well renowned alternative doctor and pediatrician named Dr. Tenpenny. She has an office in Ohio. I would highly recommend giving a call. Homeopathy may also be something to look into, if you find a professional.

2019-02-07 15:15:05 UTC

Can anyone give me info on the pros and cons of circumcision

2019-02-07 18:18:17 UTC

cons: makes penises shriveled up and desensitized
pros: apparently it makes you less likely to get AIDS or whatever if you have unprotected sex with random people?

2019-02-07 18:44:51 UTC

right. condoms have the same effect if youre uncircumcised

2019-02-07 22:24:12 UTC

Circumcision rewires the brain from the pain/trauma, can make men more sensitive to pain later

2019-02-07 22:25:20 UTC

It also reduces sensitivity/lessens sexual pleasure

2019-02-07 22:25:52 UTC

The pros are it makes maintaining good hygiene easier.

2019-02-08 00:31:29 UTC

Except that modern plumbing and soap sorta obviate that pro.

2019-02-08 00:53:09 UTC

I was circumcised as a baby, I can't really say that it's had a negative impact on me.

2019-02-08 00:53:22 UTC

That being said, it should be a choice made as an adult

2019-02-08 01:03:16 UTC

Early childhood trauma can affect your mind even if you don't consciously know it's affecting you.

2019-02-08 01:07:00 UTC

I personally have a really vague memory of my childhood so I just never really thought about it. For a long time I had anxiety for seemingly no reason. Then I started remembering stuff that I thought was normal growing up and I did some research and started discussing it with people and it turns out that it was a bigger deal I thought and probably explains my anxiety.

2019-02-08 01:10:13 UTC

Apparently it could also be what's causing me to have problems falling asleep and all kinds of other problems.

2019-02-08 01:11:35 UTC

I'm not talking about circumcision, of course, but, the point is, if it's true that circumcision causes trauma, it could very well be affecting you without you knowing it. I literally didn't realize any of this stuff until I thought about it at 21 and put the pieces together.

2019-02-08 01:13:02 UTC

Very good input. Thank you

2019-02-08 21:22:53 UTC

Hello friends. Going to be a First time parent in 6 months. Did you vaccinate your kids, partially vaccinate, delay them or completely avoid them? Iโ€™m doing some research on my own currently, but wanted to hear from some of you if you donโ€™t mind.

2019-02-08 23:43:19 UTC

I think we are doing delayed scheduling

2019-02-08 23:43:37 UTC

Spreading them out further than what's recommended by the CDC

2019-02-09 02:31:42 UTC

We went along a delayed schedule

2019-02-09 03:26:32 UTC

Weโ€™re also doing a delayed schedule. We were very pleased to hear from our pediatrician that many people in our area are doing the same

2019-02-09 14:08:11 UTC

I don't have kids, but an curious as to your rationale. @Grossly Incandescent

2019-02-09 16:03:29 UTC

Yea Iโ€™m currently looking at the schedule from the 1980s and comparing it to now. Considering the cases per year of each type of sickness and trying to make a decision on yes/no of each one and then when (probably will do a delayed schedule on any that are โ€œyesโ€)

2019-02-09 17:07:28 UTC

@Ecarttev Iโ€™m very well aware of the vastly positive effect vaccines have had for the greater population in basically eradicating some very bad diseases. Iโ€™m not anti vax, Iโ€™m just anti โ€œinjecting my two month old with 8+ viruses in one sittingโ€, on top of the heavy metals, detergents, formaldehyde, msg, and other crap thatโ€™s used to preserve the viruses
