VR is currently in its early years of development, in a few years time VR might have developed into being less of a novelty and more of a competetive playing style against Computers and Consoles.
Should we talk about how Germany couldn't have won world war 2?
Do you mean they could've won WW2?
Their chances were close to zero in winning, they were facing off against three of the biggest world powers at the time.
The problem in that is; how do you capitulate Britain?
Let's compare navies
Germanys navy was small and they couldn't take losses.
Britains navy was the worlds greatest and could replace their boats.
Now Air Forces
The Luftwaffe could've "broken" the RAF for quite some time
But surrender would still not be.
I'm not talking 42/43
I'm talking pre-barbarossa
That is the highest chance they had at beating the British air force
And they wouldn't have "beat" it
Only paralyzed it for a bit before it got back up ready for a fight
That's what i was also saying Yathy
Germany'd need a proper Navy for an invasion of Britain like Sealion
A navy which they did not have
Sealion wouldn't succeed
It'd be sunk to the bottom of the English Channel.
There was of course the "sentiment" among some German high staff that the British would surrender
Rudolf Hess even went there personally, which was very idiotic
Some people also say victory on the Eastern Front would've been possible.
What do you think about the "Victory on the Eastern front"?
Lend Lease or not, the Germans wouldn't have won
What took the Germans down was Soviet blood.
Western jeeps, fair.
Western tanks, few and far between
Western planes were looked down upon since the ones they got from, f.ex the British were outdated and had already seen battle.
They had problems with most British planes since they were either too little, too late, old or just battle-worn
Few in russian forces
I was talking about British planes
Not American ones
And there were like how many T-34s being produced a month?
Of course you're not impressed
They were built crude and in numbers
One is not supposed to impress or scare you
One is meant to be destroyed in battle
Now, hundreds of them, that is supposed to impress or scare you.
The T-34 wasn't pretty, it wasn't modern.
It was what the Soviets needed.
"Best tank of WW2"
Goes into which nation you are
The T-34 was the best for the Soviets because of their mass assault doctrine
Tankses like the Panther were the best for the Germans because of their fuel shortages
Of course they did, they were over engineered
They suffered breakdowns
Hard to repair
But when one worked
It really made the enemy shake.
If I was a Soviet tanker in 1944/45 and I saw a Tiger II for the first time, I'd get out of my tank and run.
How many Centurions were used to **any** effectivity in WW2?
Maybe the best **design**.
But not the best in operation.
In many regards, yes
I don't care what fuel it ran on
As long as it ran.
>Non british allied tank
British tanks were too little too late.
The Cromwell was put into use in 44
The British tank divisions mostly relied on American tanks that were shipped over
Some with minor improvements
I'm talking about the M3 Lee and M3 Grant
And yes; I realized you were British at the very start when you talked about Britain and the British as **we**
Britains best time in creating tankses was in WW1
In WW2 they were behind until they came up with the idea for the MBT
Which they did not master.
Matilda 1 or 2?
2 then
The 2 saw most use I believe
And I am quite fond of the II, which most people just refer to as Matilda
@Stefan Payne Go away Wehraboo
The Matilda I is quite a forgotten tank
The Panzer I was supposed to be a training tank
I believe the Panzer II was also supposed to be a training tank, very unsure
Every crap tank wasn't a training tank
Look at Japan and Italy
I'll have to say the Germans were smart in using Czech tankses
They used them until they became obsolete
Then they made the Hetzer from them
>lack of numbers
**Centurion**
The Pershing was a good idea, you'll have to admit.
The American industry could make a lot of Shermans
But also make heavies that could rival the famous German tanks
So it was a good idea to begin the production of it
Also, the Pershing did prove its worth in Korea
