I suggest that everyone living in a state with a vulnerable Republican governorship start volunteering. Wisconsin, Florida, Maine, Michigan, Ohio, Georgia, Nevada, South Dakota, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Iowa are all vulnerable to flipping.

Why does reporting the facts of the case result in a mistrial and you get contempt of court? I get that if that’s the rule you don’t report on it so you can put child rapists behind bars, but I disagree with that law

The reason it can result in a mistrial is because the jury is only supposed to get information from the court, so, theoretically, outside reporting can prejudice the jury

Not saying I necessarily agree with the law, but he knew what the implications of breaking it were
