I remember seeing something about that? What is the reason he cant?
Why should he not be on anyone else's? I still need 4 men, working on it
He still hasn't trained with any shields in the past. Or been at any of the training events in recent months. I removed him from my vanguard team and replaced him with Sid OK. He also hasn't been able to purchase any of the equipment necessary to be a shield team member. But if we're still desperate to fill ranks then I suppose he'd be willing to join someone's team. He'd have to be trained in all the new drilling techniques unless he's put on a screen with the smaller shields. But even then we'd probably have to supply him some shin guards.
Let's put him on screen then @Patrick TX
I can give him my spare chin strap
Left flank it is
I'll message him @Vincent TX
Not much needed for flanks
Vince is the most recent chart accurate?
Diagram
Roster
No I will upload current.

You didn't conflate Leo AR with Leo LA (on the diagram) correct? In adding Leo AR I will have 2 Leo's then, to clarify @Vincent TX
Leo AR is not on a shield team
I moved Leo LA back to my team
@Vincent I'll take @NS - Jason TX for my team
James your team is full actually. I mistook Leo AR for Leo LA. :)
I can move someone if you would prefer Jason though.
Should @NS - Jason TX be on a shield team considering his potentially ongoing injuries?
Nobody with a pre-existing injury should be on shields no. Has he recovered?
When I spoke to him about it last he said he was mostly all healed up. I obviously trust his word but if (god forbid) shit hits the fan I wouldn't trust his body to remain 100% resilient to a pounding by a pack of ferrel protesters.
@Nathan AR I was hesitant to recommend him to shields for this reason, but he insists he is able, and is eager to be on shields. I took the fact I thought I was down a member as a sign for him to be on my team.
@ND - James TX if he insists he's good to go then it's your call. I'm not trying to step on any toes. Just dont want anything to happen to our men.
You're good man, you have the right concerns in mind. My team is full anyway, no worries.

@all ππππππππππππ
Been 28 minutes and no upcummies or clout chips deposited in me Vincent TX or Adam TX account yet...
Must be a glitch
Paul TX - VANGUARD - 5/5 have ordered shin guards, 3/5 have confirmed they have received them.
You look DAMN good Paul
Dress code exemplar
Not as good as those finely painted shields I must say ππ»
Bro you look like a power ranger
the White Power ranger
I cant find the antique white
I got French beige
Close enough.
Damn those shields look great!
Paul you're looking good as well
The paint on the shin guards were from the meetup last weekend, Iβm not sure if that was the recommended color but if it was we might go for a darker color next time since they seem more white than khaki color.
It was the correct antique white color. Courtesy of @Clarke OK
Ah ok, I had the misconception that they were intended to look kahki. Good to know!
@ND - James TX @Vincent TX Is Tyler CT on your Rear Guard Team?
He has not had official confirmation on this yet
Also I will need a backup to replace Norman MA in case he flakes. Right now he is sounding like he may bail
No Tyler is not on a team. We will put him on the empty screen team.
May move him around the day when we drill.
Replace Norman MA with Tyler CT then please
Done
TY
Might steal him still but will let you know
;)
lol it's for the cause
I will press a man to my service last minute if I have to
Yeah most likely we will fill shields remaining shields spots once we drill. Iβll walk around and pick people out that for the bill
@Jack WA and @Alexander OR could both do shields. Theyβre fit enough. However neither has much martial arts experience.
Noted, will scout them during drilling. Just point them out to me
Will do
@Nathan TX is coming to the demo. He hasn't drilled, but he is athletic and I trust him to remain disciplined under pressure. Great stamina and would be a fit for screens. When we drill at the campsite, he should be considered.
Noted!
Marshall OK is having some pretty serious personal issues and it looks like he won't make it. I'll be down one guy on my shield team.
What are these issues? We need to fight for every inch when it comes to these things.
@Clarke OK We might be able to convince him yet. Give it some time.
Alright. Just making sure we have a plan.
The plan is his boots hitting the pavement Saturday morning with the rest of his brothers.
Tyler CT can fill Marshall if he backs out.
If Marshall doesn't come, make sure you get his equipment
@Vincent TX - Ben MD team should be John OK, Leo LA, Arthur FL and one blank
@ND - John WA share your thoughts on the shields, please
I think they look good, Iβm glad that Thomas agreed to have them painted.
Theyβre too cool to not decorate. Shields are a great symbol to have.
It was always the plan to have them painted, John. Since we decided on the metal we were using. Your one conversation with me where you perceived the contrary is not relevant to the greater scale of planning.
@all
Section Leaders: I heavily suggest you pick up a clipboard for the documents that you will be given on Friday and Saturday to be briefed upon. A writing utensil would not hurt either.
I'll bring a box of pens
@all
It's your job to ensure that everyone is well organized in the box trucks.
Have everyone kneel or crouch in ranks facing the door. The lower the center of mass is, the less top heavy the truck is. The more organized everyone is into ranks and lines, then the better braced they are, and the quicker they can depart from the truck. Everyone will rise as the truck stops and be ready to leap out.
The drivers will honk the horn twice, very quickly, upon the final stop to tell everyone to stand and be ready for the opening.
Any questions?
Understood.
Copy
Copy.
When we pick up the trucks I plan on bringing a wooden 2 by 4 of 3 ft length, something to fix it to the door frame, a chain and some carabiner for all 3 trucks. The goal is to keep the door 3 ft ajar while in transport to allow airflow and a means for the passengers to open the compartment from within
3 seems a bit much.
You don't want cars seeing 60 sets of feet and giving the cops a hour's head's up.
So long as we have no more than a 30 min drive I think keeping it closed is fine
Drive is set at 30m.
Sounds like nothing we havn't done before then
I am all for having a means of opening the box, but keeping it open is questionable.
Keeping it unlocked seems to be the best idea. That cop in Philly was being retarded. I don't expect that to happen again, and if it does the drivers can make it a point to tell them they don't have air
DC police especially don't want vans full of men dying because of negligence
If the latch isn't closed, you can simply press up the door from the inside, I imagine.
That is correct
We can have controlled openings if need be, but we have never needed except for in Pittsburgh and those conditions will not be met due to weather
