A man on my shield men @Leo AR is having credit card issues and cannot order his pads or chin straps on time. He said he'd check out his local sporting stores but being that Arkansas isn't known for its street hockey, I don't have high hopes that he'll find the leg protection necessary for the demo. Is there any way we can help him out?

I don't really care, but they both suit the same purpose. This one is potentially half or less of the cost, however.

Also, I think the water should be easy to give to someone else. I'm considering one of you needing to help some wheezing fatass just as much as needing to hydrate yourselves.

Understood. I do believe all shield team members should be carrying extra water in some capacity. Being that camelbacks hold more water for sharing then I would encourage anyone who already has one to plan on wearing his camelback to the demo if he feels comfortable doing so.

@ND - John WA Being on a shield team isn't doing a cage match MMA brawl. It has more to do with acuity on the ground, drilling, and basic fitness than muscle mass.

Physical capability aside, I wouldn’t put him on shields let alone lead one. Love the guy, but situational awareness and dealing with confrontations is not a strong suit of his at all.

The drills already teach everyone how to deal with confrontations.

It's not fighting at all, actually. My situational concern is awareness with Christopher's experience drilling with him, which trumps your experience doing anything else with him.

Yes he has good aptitude agility and strength. He's on the smaller side but that shouldn't be an issue
