Our founders simply didn't have to deal with the kinds of issues we deal with now. Problem is, the country is too divided for its government to act decisively to meet these new challenges.

I can think of a scenario in which a government could act decisively. Not in its current form. But in an inevitable form. That will happen soon.

Retirement age seems broke as people are living longer lives each generation right? So it should be some kind of mental altitude test rather than an iterated age limit imo

@Sam Southern - TN The problem with retirement age is that most of us are being laid off before our retirement age. That happened to me. Fortunately I was happy about it. Not everyone has that luxury.
