Howdy. Elle Reev is a-maze-ing!
I do PC builds for a living. It's easy...like legos.
Do not buy cyberpowerpc - they use cheap components and their PCs come into the shop all the time for repairs
Bad link, requires signing in to google
I will say if you're doing autocad you will probably want an Nvidia Quadro video card.
16GB RAM will help you work on larger projects.
I'm the typical good goy who fell for the college meme and ended up working retail. In an AR podcast one of the guests was extolling the virtues of the trades, specifically electrician work. I'm hoping it is what I need to pull myself out of paycheck-to-paycheck living. Can anyone help point me in the right direction on how to get started as an electrician?
Do the unions set up apprenticeships?
CA but hoping to move to MT
First I need to decide which one to contact 👀
I used to use frootvpn to torrent. They take bitcoin if you are concerned.
Only with the right pattern sequences !
Hey guys, I recently got a gym membership, but being completely uninformed on say...workout routines...I wanted to pick your brain a little bit.
I'm completely out of shape in part due to sedentary work environment and general lifestyle. Starting out, I was on the treadmill for about 45 min mostly with walking and inclines (its "fat burn" program) and then at the end I did some jogging for about 5 min before my feet were dragging.
Afterward I used some resistance machines for arms and legs, and did weights for a short time alternating between arms.
Is it advantageous or harmful to do a workout when you're sore?
It was my arms that were sore, in that if I stretched them out, there was a post-workout burn for those three days. But I wouldn't say injured.
For the resistance machines I made a point of not racking anything too heavy.
Just did a weight I could handle in 3 sets of either 8 or 10
Based on your tip, I will try to do the more vigorous cardio after the resistance, in order to prevent muscle soreness...
Another issue is that my available times to work out are either a] on my two days off, or b] after work. There is no way I can do it before work, I have never been a morning person, and that is a habit I will not be able to break. So that leaves after work...but I usually get home tired and very hungry (especially w/ these salad lunches). Of course, if I eat my normal dinner, I can't work out afterwards. Should I just have a small snack, work out, then go home and have dinner?
I'm a "hit the snooze button as much as I can" guy
And a night owl. I get a big energy boost a few hours after dinner.
If I did have a pre-workout snack instead of dinner, any suggestions
Btw I'm going to try to translate this starting strength routine page into a worksheet that I can check off...
I will probably have to start with just the bar, lol - apparently they are ~41 lbs?
@BryceB-ND Thank you, I will have to take a look and compare it to what I made
Tonight I tried out the press and deadlift after watching the videos. I wish I had that Rippetoe guy to correct my form. It's tough to keep the same movement every time.
Right now I'm taking things slow, with different exercises, to see how sore I am afterwards which will tell me what muscles to work on more than others.
This recipe is proof that slow-cookers are magic
You can leave the apple pieces fairly large because they will melt in your mouth
I topped it with more maple syrup, but I bet a little powdered sugar would be great too.
FrootVPN has worked well for my torrenting needs. They're pretty cheap.
There was a right wing clothing company called RWDS, then they disappeared, then I found Western Outlands Supply Co. which had very similar designs, then THEY disappeared...and now The Right Brand - though this one has different designs. Could they be related? Do they get shut down by antifa and rebrand? Or is this all a coincidence?
>white privilege is state force shutting down your protest
Any native German speakers? I've been learning on Duolingo for a while now, but the voices are computer generated. How exactly does one pronounce the word "milch" ?
Is there any sort of "sh" sound?
I have a feeling the robovoice is a little distorted.
OK, so there is an exhalation of air at the end?
The male and female voices seem to differ a bit too on the pronunciation.
It's hard to say it 🙃
I will practice! Thanks for the assist you two.
Except the tree of oppression is a lot gayer
Tell him to get a VPN to mask his traffic.
But yeah, unless the network admins are actively looking for "problematic" web surfing, there should be no problem. Typically if they are concerned with the web traffic, it's about time-wasters like reddit.
She had dreams too
@Rick A good VPN is one that allows payment in bitcoin, has many servers (countries) available, and if you're into such a thing...allows torrent traffic.
Another layer of protection is having a dedicated browser installation *only* for use with the VPN.
If privacy is your goal: basically, try to avoid being digitally "fingerprinted" at your real location with your online accounts.
For instance, if I switch over to VPN and keep using the same browser, all those cookies with login information and tracking (Google, anyone?) still persist.
Trump actually naming "white farmers" is the best news I've heard in weeks. I've wanted him to "name the whites" for a long time.
And right on time, all the anti-whites come out of the woodwork, exposing themselves and their agenda.
Subtlety? What's that? <:teehee:381917632359563264>
I thought this was a great take
At least they are safe now
It's hard to sleep when there is a happening afoot.
Born and raised, leaving soon
The thing I'm wondering about, is after the media/twitterati outrage machine dies down, what action, if any, will the Trump admin take? If they do decide to accept refugees, they would need to designate white SA farmers as a persecuted group at risk of genocide. This would establish that yes, in fact, whites can be oppressed by non-whites. If they did something stupid like make it about "farmers" only, colorblind...well, I hope they don't make that mistake.
My goal is Montana, but I need to make a scouting trip.
95% of my stuff is packed, only odds and ends now, garage stuff...
I read from an anon on 8ch that Tucker never said white, but we know Trump did use white in his tweet, so he must know.
I haven't seen Tucker's segment yet.
Yeah I was laid off, it's a good excuse to move.
I hope you used exterior semi-gloss+ paint+primer meant for concrete 😉 t. paint dept
If you love music and want to carry your entire collection around on a budget, I recommend a Sansa Clip Plus (~$100) + Rockbox firmware ( https://www.rockbox.org/download/ ) + 200GB ($62) or larger microSD memory card.
The high-capacity microSD card will need to be formatted FAT32 to work.
With Rockbox, this little player supports almost every digital music format known to man. Gapless playback for the popular formats. Damn good volume too.
I've played back a 192KHz FLAC file using this thing. May have been 24 bit too. It can also play multi-channel FLAC and downmix to stereo.
ONE CAVEAT: You have to go easy on the headphone jack. It you abuse it, it will break. I got a refurb player and ended up soldering in my own headphone input cable.
There are many problems with the idea of flyering high schools. #1 they are generally closed to people over 18 who are not employees and/or parents of a student there due to security considerations, and #2 there is the potential for major bad press with "they're targetting our chilluns"— both of which can open you or IE up to legal trouble.
Feivel Goes West was a fav movie of mine as a kid. Red-pills ruined some of my childhood 😃
Also anyone see Sister Act? Totally BASED black woman on the run from violent WHITE italian mobsters joins a stuffy old WHITE nunnery/church that is seeing low attendance due to demographic changes; she proceeds to "shake up" the traditional programs with "soulful" black rhythms and brings in the urban youth.
I'm sitting here facepalming at how pozzed this album is, red-pilling can be painful
Wondering whether I should sell or burn my vinyl copy.
Like they activated the jewish + diversity agenda
There's a lot of music I used to like, and I just can't anymore.
Unfortunately I invested a lot into (mostly used) vinyl for many of these albums.
Sometimes I get silly invention ideas...don't usually write em down...this just happened:
>I wish I could take my small bird out with me on walks
She'd get snatched up and eaten by actual falcons.
I saw two beautiful falcon-type birds fly over about a week ago.
They were flying north. I took it as a good omen.
>search for bird omen videos
>get black israelites
Anyone here mess with car audio?
Right now my 2004 Ford has the stock AM/FM/CD radio player and 4x stock speakers. I am going to be replacing all the speakers with a 3Ω per speaker set; there are no markings on the stock speakers but I'm assuming they are standard 4Ω impedance.
I'm concerned because as-is it doesn't take much to make the stock speakers get really loud, most 90s+ music I set volume to maybe 35% and it's pretty loud. I am concerned that the new speakers will make this worse.
So in relation to this, I'm wondering if a] the stock speakers can get *louder* when they are worn out over time, causing this issue, or if b] these stock "head units" typically have a hidden gain pot. I can't check for it just yet but know there are a bunch of holes on the bottom of the unit...
All the aftermarket radios look too flashy, so I am keeping stock with a slick hidden FM hijack box for aux input.
Plus I like the retro look.
I had never heard of rotary/wankel engines before, so I spent some time watching some videos. Very clever design. It's too bad it dumps so much fuel out the exhaust.
And they have to inject oil into the chamber to keep seals intact so you are literally burning oil, by design, and have to refill it periodically.
The Mazdas sound pretty awesome stock, but many videos seem to feature modded cars that sound like sputtering chainsaws or something.
Sorry not experienced with Edge as I don't use it, let alone for PDFs, but I'd expect it to be a near-barebones PDF reader at this point. Can you find any options directed at the PDF reading function of Edge? If not, what about the ability to export PDFs from Edge to say...PNG files? Maybe it will export the notes into the image too.
The most vulgar/inconvenient way to do it would be screenshots saved as images then printed out, without a lot of tweaking it will look bad but you will get those notes...
Btw I completed the speaker replacement in my truck, and there is no more volume issue. It seems the old speakers were simply blown out that much, frequencies squishing together, that they got annoyingly loud.
The new ones are quieter, with more clarity and soundstage, so I'm content. 😃
Most addictive cereal: Honeycomb
Any fluent German speakers here? I have two sentences for translation; eBay seller can't understand what google translate spit out.
"Can you please verify that there are no cracks in the plastic worm/reduction gear? My motor works but the gear is cracked and it prevents operation."
it's called a worm gear, but also known as a reduction gear
OK I will try these, thank you!
This guy in Germany has the only listing in the world for this exact part I need...but a cracked gear would be easy to miss. That's why I want him to check it first. It's hard to convey technical terms when they're not so readily learned in language programs.
it's an American tradition :^)
Since I'm visiting a snowy area I've been trying to buy some decent winter clothes, especially insulated boots. I've been able to get some nice wool socks that are made in USA, another pair Canada. Then I found some wool longjohns, they say "designed and knitted in USA" but made in Mexico(???). Maybe only the raw materials were made here.
I have not been able to find a single pair of winter boots made in USA. Closest was Canada but they were more like waders and not what I am looking for.
There was a $500 pair made in Italy. Too blue-blood for me 😂
Yeah they had different rating systems for diff materials...and activity levels.
weebin it up late night? <:patrickvikernes:423301225749151744>
When everyone else has gone to bed, we have hours to kill
If only I had a night owl emote 🦉
Re: Thanksgiving dinner conversations, my 12 y/o step-niece proudly proclaimed something she learned in one of her classes, and it was about how one American uses as much electricity as 30 indians (south asian) —I'm paraphrasing— I told her they will try to make you feel guilty, but don't be. Would you rather live without electricity? "No..." Then don't worry about it.
'Course I say this while surrounded by liberals lol
She and her sister are already getting culturally dominated by black music/mannerisms in things like TikTok and from classmates
Imagine a 12 y/o white girl trying to act like a "sassy black woman"
Also, she mentioned something about carbon dioxide. And global warming, of course. I mentioned volcanoes spewing tons of CO² ...
"Should we ban volcanoes?"
I wanted to make her THINK about what she is being told
All she is doing is repeating what the marxist teachers, or clueless teachers who are given marxist textbooks, are saying to her
Trump seems to be very risk averse
We were promised a "big beautiful wall"—not a fence
I hadn't considered Tucker running...wow. Imagine it.
@Lily Lee - NJ Whatever you can do to plant the seed, it's worth the effort IMO
I can put a picture of the outdoors on my computer, haha checkmate
@bogl had no idea about the banner, been without the internet for a week, I'll keep my eyes peeled 👀
Patrick going to be checking people out at the conference <:boomer:394308007217070080>
Not sure if this is the same, but it's recent https://pilotonline.com/news/local/crime/article_711e36fe-e2aa-11e8-b11b-ab64e5395caf.html no detailed info on victim
@Jacob Anyone who talks about more red-pilled stuff, but not the most reddest of pills, and without signalling against us is good.
I know of at least two even more mild boomer-tier podcasts, if you wanted to "take it slow" 😉
Haven't listened to them in forever so not sure how much they have/will punch right
I recently had to hire a locksmith, and he recommended a podcast to me. "Do you listen to podcasts?" "Um, a little..." lol
My list has 16 (+1 without rss feed)
He recommended No Agenda, I glanced at it, looked pretty bluepilled
If only Metokur had a podcast, that would be decent.
Red Ice fits the bill, most of the time.
By normie standards I'm sure they put out some edgy stuff, but I am desensitized to it.
People were setting off a bunch of fireworks here, starting at 6pm. Probably sky burst type stuff but I didn't go outside to see.
Why didn't they simply call uber or something?
I think getting an uber is more logical than what is essentially carjacking/kidnapping
@apronandlace If you are really worried about it, and have the capability to do a wet clean, you could try WEB Condenser Coil Cleaner (sold at Home Depot, etc.). You spray it on, it foams up, you rinse it off. I used some on my truck's condenser and it worked OK. They claim it's safe for pets and biodegradeable, but you would want to unplug the appliance, have plenty of fresh air moving thru, and wear gloves and eye protection.
And avoid painted surfaces
It's a cap that makes important connections for the vehicle to start and run. If the cap is not plugged in, the engine won't start. If the engine is running and the cap is removed, the engine shuts off. If I am parking my truck somewhere out of my sight, I pull the plug at the same time I pull the keys. After that, my 4x4 truck is going nowhere without a flatbed tow until I come back with the cap. It's like two-factor auth for your vehicle.
The CA branch had someone drive out to my house and do the work on the driveway in a few hours, for about $540 IIRC.
I figured nobody cares about car alarms, you hear them go off and don't investigate. The Club™ (both steering wheel and brake versions) is easily broken by publicly available tools. Tracking systems means your auto is already stolen at that point and you're playing catch up before it's disassembled in a chop shop. The newer electronic keys are easily hacked/copied by thieves who only have to get within a few feet of you...it's all so tiresome.
But Ravelco is only any good if you get in good habits to use it, and it's second nature to me now.
As for people breaking in to steal stuff, that's a different story. Some sort of alarm that personally alerts you on your phone would be best IMO.
What was the fridge doing that made you look at the coil?
Lack of a father figure growing up is an important factor IMO
Gay men are often obsessed with trying to please other men, because their father was distant, absent, abusive, etc growing up.
I wonder if there is a correlation between homosexual leanings vs. divorced/single parents
There is also the increased use of plastics for food items starting mid 20th century, chemical exposure?
Reward unnatural behavior, get unnatural behavior
That's why any public policy should reward starting natural, healthy family structures
http://www.logicalincrements.com/ is a good resource for that
I've been out of the loop on tech work since getting laid off 6 months ago. Still, my own personal brand preference is as follow: ASUS for motherboards, EVGA for graphics cards (or ASUS if you prefer their cooler style), it's hard to go wrong with RAM and Corsair's stuff was decently reliable. Intel and AMD CPUs were at functional parity and any hemming and hawing was over single digit percentage advantages in specific areas like gaming.
Get a microATX or ATX form factor motherboard and corresponding case. If you try to go smaller (miniITX) it gets tougher to build.
Don't skimp on power supplies, get a name brand like Corsair, Seasonic, or EVGA. I'd stay away from Seasonics highest wattage PSUs because they seemed to be DOA more than chance, but their mid range (750w) were reliable.
80 plus ratings for PSUs tell you how wasteful/efficient they are. 80 plus bronze is a basic, good level of efficiency, but I would aim for gold.
If you can give your PSU some headroom that's good for efficiency. For instance, with your PC chugging along at 100% CPU/GPU processing power and only pulling 80% of the PSU capacity. This website is a good resource for estimating usage https://outervision.com/power-supply-calculator
Get an **NVMe** SSD in M.2 form factor, at least 256GB, for your installation of Windows (or Linux?). Samsung and Intel make good ones. You probably won't need the Samsung Pro series. Evo is fine. Do NOT forget to install the drivers from them, you don't want to miss out on the full speed potential.
Spinning disk storage is cheap, you should be able to get a 4TB 3.5" hard drive for less than $90
Keep all your legally backed up blu-ray movies on there.
When I was last working, the GeForce GTX 1060 was the best value in graphics cards. They have since replaced the 1070/1080 with 2070/2080 upgrades and I'd be surprised if they didn't roll out the rest in the next couple months.
I can't speak for AMD/ATI Radeon graphics cards because they have such small market share I never got to mess with them much. There's bound to be somebody who knows more and can tell you how they are competitive with Nvidia GeForce cards...
Also, avoid craigslist PCs. Everyone on there tries to advertise their old PCs as great gaming rigs. They're usually overpriced and very outdated.
I have a fridge that's working a bit TOO well in the winter months
Set to 4/9 with 9/9 being coldest, it freezes up the food...so I set it to 1/9
Is that the people's court lady?
Anyone experienced with working on F-250s? I have a question regarding brake fluid exchange / brake bleed...
I had my truck in for various service, including a brake fluid exchange. Recently it was in for something else, and my dad sent me photos (it's a couple states away right now) of what he said are the bolts you loosen to bleed the brake fluid, and there is apparently no evidence that they have been turned at all. They are still evenly rusted. So I'm wondering, is there an alternate way that a Ford dealer would do a brake fluid exchange that does not involve those bolt heads at all?
I think this was the relevant part
Sorry, I'm not mechanically inclined just yet
What about Mercedes or Lexus?
I've always ironically unironically liked the named Delquan
it's kinda like the Federal govt isn't very helpful
Dude, I've lived in CA my whole life and just moved to MT...yesterday I went to the post office, and all the workers there were white! It's my first time seeing that.
And none of them glared at me 😄
Right, we don't need to justify our own existence
Narratives that contradict the agenda are not tolerated
Really? It was pretty bad in CA...
I hope there are already remix videos with Enter Sandman playing
@Logan Thanks for the heads up, I'll be talking to the DMV soon. My truck is not here yet but I want things to go as quickly as possible.
The Sandmann video proves that simply standing there and existing while white, or making a facial expression, is considered white supremacy
It was a matter of not knowing the service history of a truck with >100k miles on it...I had them do all sorts of stuff
Brake fluid exchange is on the work order
But my dad was concerned that they didn't do it
The brakes needed new pads and rotors too
I can't speak for any air in the line
OK as long as it's more likely they did the service than not. The brakes work just fine now. They were not so great when I got it 😉
More recently I had them do upper and lower ball joints and tie rods, because there was play in ball joints, and steering was pretty floaty. Unfortunately I haven't been able to test drive it yet, but my dad says steering is pretty tight now and feels right.
I'm really missing my truck...just waiting on shipper to say they have a guy
Thanks for the help
Early 2004 @RevStench
@FACINEMA just don't call it a compound lol
This guy walks up to him banging a drum and wailing, Sandmann is like... wat? 😏
And he didn't cuck! No apology!
