force your self to lift, lifting always makes you feel better

2019-08-04 22:08:30 UTC

Or even go for a walk/jog
If all else fails know that you have brothers/ sisters here

2019-08-04 22:08:58 UTC

Yesh ot does

2019-08-04 22:11:54 UTC

yee yee

2019-08-05 05:00:00 UTC

@queefburgler also, I when I hit the gym everyday, I was dead tired. I got off work anywhere from midnight to 2 am. But I still went to the gym after work. Basically just gotta keep yourself motitvated.

2019-08-05 06:00:47 UTC

Thats the hard part for me

2019-08-05 06:01:51 UTC

I'm tracking, but if you set yourself up in a routine you're good

2019-08-05 06:05:14 UTC

True

2019-08-05 13:12:26 UTC

Ya a routine is key

What would be the best thing to do to get better overall at running? Sprinting short distances? Jogging long distances? Some mixture?

2019-08-05 21:21:33 UTC

Mixture

2019-08-05 21:22:18 UTC

Mixture plus shit like bullshit push ups and things of that nature

I've been doing "sprint laps" where I run for 100m and walk for 100m

2019-08-05 21:24:37 UTC

Good start

Albiet I'm totally shit at push ups. I still do them but I know I'm not doing "real" push ups

2019-08-05 21:25:31 UTC

Do you have anywhere you can run that has bleachers?

I do

I run at the track at my high school

2019-08-05 21:25:55 UTC

Run that track while running the bleachers too

That'd probably be pretty good

2019-08-05 21:26:33 UTC

You feel like dieing the first few times but afterwards running out right won t be shit

Yea. Sprint laps make me want to die too

But I always feel better during the day when I do them

2019-08-05 21:27:25 UTC

The bleachers runs build up your endurance

That would be good

I can run from the ATF longer

2019-08-05 21:28:10 UTC

Lol fair

2019-08-05 21:33:47 UTC

Dont run you'll only die tired

You just run to the trees. Then you climb them and give the vietnam vets flashbacks

@Hellhound6 Thanks for tip on running up the bleachers! I wanna die a slow painful death but it was a good workout

2019-08-06 15:30:29 UTC

No worries dude

2019-08-10 21:53:00 UTC

Iโ€™m forced to work out

2019-08-10 21:53:15 UTC

I have football so itโ€™s everyday bro

2019-08-26 18:32:52 UTC

2019-09-03 20:12:48 UTC

Everyone better be getting fit in this MF

2019-09-04 03:17:54 UTC

I hope you did at least 50 pushups 100 for the fat boys

2019-09-04 03:18:05 UTC

Nope

2019-09-04 16:48:40 UTC

I'm trying

2019-09-04 17:05:17 UTC

As long as your not not trying

2019-09-04 17:28:02 UTC

You can work your arms but don't forget the core

Does anyone have advice on how to stay motivated while working out? I always seem to get really motivated for 3-5 days but then I just stop. It's really frustrating.

2019-09-05 13:15:39 UTC

You have to force yourself into a routine, once it kicks in it become habit

2019-09-05 13:16:55 UTC

^

2019-09-05 13:17:23 UTC

But maybe mix up the workouts a bit to keep from getting bored or stale

2019-09-05 13:17:32 UTC

Maybe find a workout partner

2019-09-05 13:33:40 UTC

^^

2019-09-05 13:34:14 UTC

Real talk. No one and I mean no one but you can keep yourself motivated

2019-09-05 13:34:43 UTC

Having a gym buddy helps but ultimately it is on you

2019-09-05 13:46:51 UTC

Variety helps

2019-09-06 06:42:53 UTC

Pushuuuups

2019-09-06 06:55:00 UTC

2019-09-06 06:55:17 UTC

2019-09-06 18:07:24 UTC

Howdy

2019-09-06 18:07:30 UTC

Fellas how can I become Bear Mode

2019-09-06 18:10:59 UTC

Lift heavy things and eat protein by the pound

2019-09-06 19:37:15 UTC

For pushups, I like the evil russian method. Dumb name, but I've had success. And it scales to ability

2019-09-07 01:38:17 UTC

How many reps should be done for pushups, sit ups on average y'all think?

2019-09-07 01:38:33 UTC

Depends on goal

2019-09-07 01:38:47 UTC

Yoy could do pyramids to 25 if your looking for an every day thing

2019-09-07 01:43:35 UTC

I've been adding my plate carrier to add resistance and to build up stamina

2019-09-07 01:43:46 UTC

But that is a good suggestion

2019-09-07 01:47:00 UTC

Got a ruck?

2019-09-07 01:49:53 UTC

^

2019-09-07 01:50:14 UTC

Even if it's just a random pack, gradually add weight

2019-09-07 11:08:09 UTC

i can only agree with the carrier+rucksack combo, never go jogging without those two + some waterbottles and whatever extra weight i can find.

featuring shitty iphone 6+ camera. glad i got an android now.

Android ftw

2019-09-10 13:34:30 UTC

After years of body weight training at home, I have finally decided to start going to the gym with a more experienced friend. Any advice for a beginner?

2019-09-10 18:17:08 UTC

Start slow with heavy weight, focus on form

2019-09-10 18:17:20 UTC

Once your form is good then go heavy

2019-09-10 18:17:32 UTC

But until you have good form dont hurt yourself

2019-09-10 18:33:41 UTC

Guys i did it

2019-09-10 18:33:47 UTC

Swole is the goal! Size is the prize! #robertfrank

2019-09-11 00:38:36 UTC

Got back to hitting chest today after almost two weeks. Good ass pump. Don't let a break or injury keep you from getting back into the saddle

2019-09-11 06:23:14 UTC

And back at the gym, it gets easier eventually

2019-09-11 07:39:40 UTC

Ran a 1.5 mile in 14.50. I was able to shave 30 seconds from yesterday

2019-09-11 16:02:42 UTC

Not gonna lie, I tried running with a 20lbs weight vest today and it sucked major dick

2019-09-11 16:03:26 UTC

Do you have your own vest and lbe?

2019-09-11 16:03:36 UTC

Take care of your joints

2019-09-11 16:04:31 UTC

I do have my own vest, it goes up to 40. And I'll be sure to do joint care right after my core workout
