Keep in mind, if someone grabs the shield with both hands it leaves them open to getting bashed. I took a shield to the lip and trust me, if someone steps up to us and gets a taste they won't want seconds.

Don't forget, the reason we moved mumble to 9 oclock is because he said that's when he was available. He then very seldom was in attendance. Yet he complains that he was hounded.

Yes, Paul you and I discussed this, but I think he made up his mind he wanted to leave. These reasons, while they are valid, are simply excuses that he uses. He doesn't care if they're addressed, they are grievances that he can use as a reason to leave PF.

These problems are easily addressed, and if he was passionate about PF, he would want to solve them instead of leaving without mentioning them to us prior.

Man, to be honest, I could go off the chain, but its late and not even worth it. Not saying he has doesn't have some relevant criticisms, but really, you are going to leave and then drop these complaints you never ONCE brought up?

I do think mumble every week is unnecessary. We should think about holding it every other week.

Yes, it's all a game of balance. Too tight a leash, people complain and leave. Too loose a leash, people relax and drift away.

Also, Paul has relayed to me some of the reasons why you decided to leave. I am thankful for your criticisms and want to use them to improve our methods. These issues are fair, and easily addressed, but my problem is you never voiced these criticisms before deciding to quit.
I am sorry if you felt as if you were treated as just a number, I think if you made it to more meetups you would see that's not the case. Rocketchat and Mumble are rather impersonal. I would agree that Mumble meeting frequency and length should be dialed back.
I am new to this leadership position, and improving in that regard I need feedback. So thank you. It is difficult balancing the duties of life with the ones of the Organization, especially the role of Leadership, and if I have shortcomings there, I will do better.

I care deeply about the well being of everyone in PF, and NW2 in particular. Even though I don't know you well, if you said you needed my help urgently and immediately, I would drop everything to do so. I just wish you voiced these concerns earlier. That is all.

@NS - Jason TX The trip is about 20 hours, without stopping. We leave at midnight the 2nd, and should get to the campgrounds before midnight the 3rd. This will give us some time to rest, but we will march the morning of Saturday the 4th. We also have to drill beforehand. Getting sleep en route will be important.

Nothing like that will happen. If something insane happened and you were unable to get to your van, myself or Jason would make it our tip priority to get it and keep all your stuff safe for you.
