Identitarianism is a less specific thing than the American phenomenon of the alt right.

Identitarianism means that group identity matters more than some trivial policy.

I would say Identitarianism is more specific. Alt Right could mean anything to some people from Hollywood Nazis to Sargon

The Identitarian movement is very specific. It's GI and us, basically

Alt Right has a lot of baggage

But its ideas are more specific in that its explicitly race realist and anti Jew. Those things rely on group identity being central.

Identitarianism is a more useful term for us because it plays on the ideas we need to promote now in order to promote other ideas later. In many ways Alt Right had its day in the sun but in many ways was jumping the gun. We need to promote White Identity before anything else
