Also from TN and just joined the group
Chattanooga
Grew up in Memphis tho
I think you should have a little gear to the left at the bottom and that should give you the option to upload a pic
While Trump has abused his power the FBI has always gone after election fraud allegations
So that was not on Trump... it was the FBI's job
Im not saying they did a good or bad job. I simple said that election fraud allegations have ALWAYS been investigated by the FBI. Even if Trump "directed" them to do it they should have been doing it (and were) already
And so far I have seen nothing but allegations. They are doing it backwards. They claim fraud and then go out and try to find evidence to support their position.
Its like they are assuming its fraudulent
Well... look... what is the remedy? I mean, I dont think there was fraud at least nothing widespread or effective. But even assuming there was a little, what is the remedy?
The lawsuits are arguing that the Plaintiffs (voters, electors, candidates) were disenfranchised. So now they want to Courts to disenfranchised tens of millions more people by tossing all the votes out?
Right... to throw out the fraud (the fraudulent votes) but they havent proven any exist. Even if they did they can't be throwing out ALL mail in ballots because the overwhelming majority of those voters followed the law
No... that is not completely true. In the PA cases they wanted the court to strike down the mail in ballot law that was passed in 2019. That law has not changed since then. They knew it existed but they only complained about it when Trump lost. That sort of crap is barred via the Doctrine of Laches @TW20
Explain to me how I am suppose to make sure of that?
That is a ridiculous standard and certainly not a legal one
That is basically what he is saying... its ridiculous
And look... I watched one of those hearings today and one lady testified that the GOP lawyer advised her to challenge each and every ballot and in advance of them even looking at it. That is bad faith.
Yeppers. Also to the left you can see Text Channels. Those are the different "chat rooms" like <#771201221145919499> or <#771201281024458802>
Did anyone see the press conference by that guy in GA today? Wow. He was on point.
No, Latches has been around forever. It prevents people from laying back and waiting on the outcome. It would be like me seeing a potential problem in the law but that problem might actually benefit me so I wait and see... if it benefits me I do nothing but if it doesn't I challenge it
it is akin tot he clean hands doctrine.... dont be shady
Yeppers
YEA
And its hard to argue with his logic
I can get you a link to the video
Just looks like notice of the filing of a complaint or an amended complaint asking respondents to respond
Yeppers
The language used by Trump and others is simply dangerous... We have had plots to kidnap governors. We have one of Trump's lawyers saying that Krebs (A TRUMP APPOINTMENT) should be dragged out and SHOT
Im with the Gabe guy.... enough is enough
There is also something to this pay for pardons investigation. Did anyone read that order? I mean its very very clear that someone with influence with Trump was selling pardons. The DOJ has seized phones, computers, ipads... it might get really ugly
He said that of Krebs... who was appointed by Trump. Trump hand picked Krebs for that position. Now Trump's lawyer is saying he should be drug out and shot. What happens if this guy does end up with a bullet in the head?
Its like everyone thinks we are in a reality TV show with no REAL consequences. We need to wake the *** up
point? are you defending the guy that said Krebs should be shot?
Yeah... and a black poll worker in Georgia was having nooses showing up outside his home
Its just ridiculous
Yeah... how is it gonna look now when we try to convince countries to adopt democracy? They are gonna laugh in our faces
And look if there was truly something to this stuff then we HAVE to investigate and proseucte. But so far all I have seen are speculations about what "could" happen. "Mickey Mouse could have signed that ballot." I honestly dont give a crap what COULD... did it? Did Mickey sign it? If so we need to figure out why that happen. Because COULD doesn't cut it. A meteor could crash into the polling place
OAN? lolololololol
In debates sure. But when giving EVIDENCE the source matters.
Have you ever seen a witness testify in court if they had ten prior theft charges not be questioned about their reliability?
Its not. They are a joke.
Im not watching 20 mins of OAN opinions. Find me some evidence and I will address it
I watch over 5 hours of hearings today... about 3 yesterday. I have seen nothing that would amount to "clear irregularities"
I dont watch or post CNN
They are an opinion based network just like FOX and OAN
And MSNBC
You posting OAN is like me posting HuffPost
its a waste of all our times
I use lots of sources just to see what is going on.... but you cant rely on CNN or FOX or really any 1 source to tell the whole story without slant
I listened to 5 today and 3 yesterday. I work... doing the best I can
There is that word again "a person COULD" ok... did they? Is there any proof that they did?
If its a "Could" then by all means lets fix it if we can. But unless there is evidence to suggest someone DID then well why do we think there was fraud?
Someone COULD go to a polling place we an AK 47 and steal all the ballots. But unless there is evidence to suggest that happened what is the point in discussing it except to cover that possibility next time around?
I have seen that... the problem is the company that provided the machines say the sharpies were NO problem at all
No machines were designed with flaws intentionally that is hogwash
I am not saying the email doesnt exist. I am saying that he is simply wrong. The people that build the machines say the sharpies pose no problem. If we assume that they do (which is silly do to) its certainly not fraud
Sharpies were used because they don't smug
They are actually better than other type pens... it dries faster
V
sorry
There ya go
So you think we should just believe something because the company that manufactured the product tells us to? @JonasRobert So you think we should just believe your nameless email guy?
EVIDENCE... not accusations is what I am asking
ok what's his name
And why are you giving the email person more credit than the company that supplies the machines?
Did you read the email? Its not an admission that Sharpies are a problem. Might want to read it again. And look, lets assume that some machines had a hard time reading Sharpies - that is not fraud. The company denies that they Sharpies are an issue. Some polling workers apparently think differently. Still... not fraud.
Read the email again. The person that wrote the email was responding to the people on the ground
RIF
Reading is Fundamental
I just read it... Read it again.
"We've heard you and we know your hearing issues and concerns about Sharpie markers"
The person writing the email is responding to the poll workers... read it
Ok clearly you are not reading your own sources so not going back and forth. Thanks anyway
The law is not super clear on whether or not the pardon has to come after conviction or the filing of charges
That was an issue with Nixon but it never got challenged
Georgia just did a hand recount. It was extremely accurate. This is a Republican state (until now) with a Republican Governor who was the former Republican Sec of State. THere is a new life long Republican Sec of State. They conducted a hand recount. What more would you have them do?
I don't know. But there is a logic to say look. It was done right. There is no EVIDENCE of any fraud or monster errors so why can't we certify. Why is it necessary to do all these steps. Why keep this dragging on?
I mean wasn't it Trump saying how bad it would be to have to wait weeks or months to find this stuff out
Why should the machines be examined?
No evidence of fraud
hand recount matches the results
Show me what you have
Evidence depends on the claim.
My point is that if anyone can just be unhappy with the results and then demand that the state turn over their voting rolls and machines and all his mess... where does it end?
There are lots of things that could convince me its too broad of a question
Its like saying what would convince me that dude a killed dude b.... well it depends. Video would do it. So would lots of other stuff
You are asking me to make an assumption that it was stolen. I dont even know how it could be stolen without it being obvious
What I would need is some evidence that would make me think that either the entire election commission and the sec of state in say Georgia are either corrupt or clearly incompetent because they are saying everything is solid
No idea
But will be happy to look at it. So show it to me
I mean admission by someone that had the power and access to steal the election and then can explain how it happen... but Im not limiting it to that... that is just once example but there may be dozens of examples.
Well... every judge that has ruled on these cases disagree that the "evidence" is solid
A person can testify to something that is a lie... its evidence but its not reliable. When I say evidence I mean something that I feel comfortable relying on
So so me your best piece of evidence
Its not reliable evidence... A dirty plate is evidence someone had dinner... but its not reliable evidence of who had dinner or even what they might have had to eat
Here ya go... this TRUMP appointed Judge says it better than I can
"One might expect that when seeking such a startling outcome, a plaintiff would come formidably armed with compelling legal arguments and factual proof of rampant corruption, such that this Court would have no option but to regrettably grant the proposed injunctive relief despite the impact it would have on such a large group of citizens. That has not happened," Brann added. "Instead, this Court has been presented with strained legal arguments without merit and speculative accusations, unpled in the operative complaint and unsupported by evidence."
https://www2.ca3.uscourts.gov/opinarch/203371np.pdf
That ruling was upheld on appeal... try again
Wiped of evidence of what?
You are making assumptions and speculations... that is not evidence
IT DEPENDS.... there are lots of things that could be evidence. Do you have any or not?
Parler... for your Cult Trump News
Ive told you. Like 3 times now. I will take that to mean you know you have no reliable evidence
