Their "interpretation" of the fossil record is that it was Noah's Flood...except geological records don't support a world-wide flood ever occurring in the time period when Noah would have been alive.

It also ignores fossils being found specifically in certain regions.

Fornication is sex before being married. Adultery is having sex when you are married, but it's not your spouse.

You can fornicate without committing adultery, but you cannot commit adultery without fornication...

And they made observations on how baby-making works. They saw reproduction as the "right" way.

And a lot of wrong-doing will make you enemies. It's more beneficial to be good than bad.

There are selfish reasons to be "good".

In more enlightened societies, like capitalistic countries, it's ethics because you would be responsible for problems within businesses; like lost profits because of a lack of sales.

It's the same principle behind laws requiring driver's licenses and insurance in order to operate a motor vehicle on the roads.

It's about how beneficial it is to society as a whole.
