@GoldenPhoenix what do you mean?
Yes Grenade
@Salacious Swanky Cat in middle ages they were very anti-science guys
How would I not? I was raised in a Baptist house hold and home-educated with material from Pensacola Christian Academy. I know damn well what I'm talking about.
Yeah, I like how they find that one verse about not eating pork in the bible and go LOOK LOOK SEE IT SUPPORTS QRAN and then you keep reading and it says not to eat camel, Something of which is fine in islamic culture
That one alwyas made me chuckle
you're literally just @ing people and saying "no, you're wrong" without reading any of their context or history. JS was raised christian himself, he understands how it works at least in part
@LittleGiantJ yeah. Itβs pretty much just the fossil record.
you're worse than southern baptists, damn
You guys seem to have spent a lot of time wasted on this issue. Has it dramatically altered your way of living?
Thing is: If the Koran would be taught by David Wood, I'd be for Islamic classes.
I'm actually gonna go find that verse real quick
maybe the didnt want it at that time xD just werent longing for it cus there is so much to chose from @π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯
@LittleGiantJ sorry about feeding the fire, didn't mean to put a target on you XD
@GoldenPhoenix you didnβt put a light on him. And youβre still wrong about translation and interpretation. Who cares about someoneβs personal experience? That doesnβt automatically make the person correct.
all we need is Max Kolbe in here
I welcome the debate.
Their "interpretation" of the fossil record is that it was Noah's Flood...except geological records don't support a world-wide flood ever occurring in the time period when Noah would have been alive.
@LittleGiantJ What about the known world
Found it y'all
@LittleGiantJ yes. Itβs just the fossil record. It isnβt all of science like you keep asserting.
Lets just assume that they exagerated " a bit" (more).
and that i was in the "known world".
I just explained why they're wrong about the fossil record.
except carbon dating also debunks YE no?
WTF my battery life just went up and it's been going doen this whole time
yes, @Grenade123 it does
And their interpretation about it.
@LittleGiantJ I agree that they deny the fossil record. Still isnβt all of science.
It's more than just "they disagree"; it's "they don't want to hear it because it flies in the face of their faith"
also speed of light and measuring against known entities in the milky way too?
@LittleGiantJ ok. That still isnβt all of science.
@Grenade123 I don't know about that one
thats some strong building blocks you are taking swings at
the creation story says "the heavens" but it doesn't specify, they only care about the earth
pretty sure fossil records being thrown out takes a pretty large swing out of some fundamentals of biology
Puh-lease...go to a Creation-science museum; and tell me how scientifically educated they sound...
I'm not saying it doesn't disprove it, I'm just saying idk because I'm not a YE person
TFW you ate all the chocalate and just have candy canes left and don't want them stuck in your teeth but you also got a sweet tooth calling to you
OOF
