you're taking a very limited approach to that one word "neighbor"

2019-01-02 18:47:51 UTC

there ya go, y u arguing?

2019-01-02 18:48:07 UTC

@Grenade123 same can be true either way, people like to forget that we are human and different things work for different people

2019-01-02 18:48:08 UTC

in the context it means everyone

2019-01-02 18:48:11 UTC

to love them is to follow the 10 commandments

2019-01-02 18:48:15 UTC

dont kill dont steal ect

2019-01-02 18:48:23 UTC

if you love them you wont kill or steal from them

2019-01-02 18:48:32 UTC

says who?

2019-01-02 18:48:39 UTC

That said it would be crazy for people to claim that if everyone followed a religion everything would be good

If you smell them hit them if they have no cologne

Wow I'm at the time of day I say random irrelevant shit

2019-01-02 18:49:24 UTC

it would be crazy if everyone followed a different religion, if it were all the same then everyone would think the same and we'd have a theocracy, which is great until somebody thinks for themselves

2019-01-02 18:49:24 UTC

@Paradox i think since you dont care its pointless to discuss it with you

I'll go to some other discorf

2019-01-02 18:49:36 UTC

don't care about what?

2019-01-02 18:49:38 UTC

@ExceptionalFeather The opposite is also true. Humans just want an excuse to fight.

2019-01-02 18:49:45 UTC

how religion is mainly about tribalism?

2019-01-02 18:49:54 UTC

@ExceptionalFeather so what you been up 2 my dood

2019-01-02 18:50:12 UTC

@ExceptionalFeather i know it works the other way too. SJWs are usually horrible and my family would be what i consider Christians who actually practice what they preach.

2019-01-02 18:50:14 UTC

Where did I say I was a better person? I just said that there is a difference between "I'm angry with you but I'm not going to kill you because God says it's wrong"; and "I'm angry with you, but I'm not going to kill you because killing you would bring tragedy to your loved ones, possibly leave theose dependent on you to starve, and it would bring pointless conflict."

2019-01-02 18:50:54 UTC

those are seperate issues

2019-01-02 18:51:22 UTC

That would also depend on what god you get.
The bible is full of wrath

2019-01-02 18:51:39 UTC

@Walsp Not much friend, gettting ready for my next semester in uni, got to see some family for the holidays, and help nurse a couple of friends that got wasted for new years

2019-01-02 18:51:42 UTC

@LittleGiantJ because you are implying that Christians don’t use both reasons and you posit that your reason is superior.

2019-01-02 18:51:46 UTC

i don't think we pinged Exceptional enough

2019-01-02 18:52:00 UTC

@taekahn seems you only read 1 part of it

2019-01-02 18:52:02 UTC

I had this mindset even when I was a Christian.

2019-01-02 18:52:03 UTC

here I'll do it @ExceptionalFeather

2019-01-02 18:52:06 UTC

lol

2019-01-02 18:52:15 UTC

I looked for secular reasoning on the subject.

2019-01-02 18:52:22 UTC

Point out a fact means i've onlylearned that fact and nothing more?

2019-01-02 18:52:40 UTC

if 1 rule overides another .it ammends it

2019-01-02 18:52:45 UTC

seriously, tho, if you need somebody to tell you that certain things is bad or else you wouldn't know for yourself, you're either under the age of 10, or mentally ill

2019-01-02 18:52:57 UTC

@LittleGiantJ sure you did. Lol. You can’t prove any morals without borrowing the Christian worldview.

2019-01-02 18:53:11 UTC

Well, it depends on the valuesystem you grew up with.

2019-01-02 18:53:15 UTC

not true, you can look at it with utilitarianism

2019-01-02 18:53:24 UTC

the bible has a reason to try to teach you not to lie and be honest

2019-01-02 18:53:27 UTC

Which is the philosophy I was using

2019-01-02 18:53:27 UTC

christian worldviews are just a shorthand

2019-01-02 18:53:34 UTC

Doesn't change one lick of anything i said
