Yes, I saw a lot of growth, they really made something out of nothing, but it is desert area and rains about 6 times a year, so the farming is limited. I didn't feel like there was structure to the place with a centered business area and separate residential areas. It feels patched up with businesses between housing. It feels that way probably because it is a patched area, they started with one piece of land and bought other patches as necessity grew. The housing is not ideal, but they did achieve the impossible with the little finances they had. I think the are doing a lot better planning for future extensions, which is good. But their main income comes from the tourism and pecan nut "export" . There is no minerals to take advantage of and I don't know how they will get financially stronger. They are building a University, which is great, they are starting with housing first, which is the best place to start. Yet I don't know how interesting the place will be to future students where there is not much entertainment. I see some potential, but I'm not overly excited, a lot of thinking-out-of-the-box is needed. That's the logistics. For morale, it was an absolute joy to be served in my language with food I can trust. Everyone has a job. And they work their butts off. I didn't feel anxious when my kids rode their bicycles in the street. Everyone waves to passersby, just like on our farms. It is something to be proud of. It achieved the impossible with everything against it.

@RaRi I suffer from insomnia , but I'm able to get by with little sleep as long as I get a good night's rest once or twice a week I'm good to go. I have small children, and have already reinserted a dummy twice while typing. Sleep is definitely not for people with small kids.

@MaximusXVI The Cope FF+ alliance would definitely be a huge success if it wasn't for the uninformed white voters who do not follow politics and would assume that the whites sold out again to black communists. So they would lose a lot of white voters. The black uninformed voters believe Cope is a party that is a puppet for whites(which is the rumour the ANC started), so the Cope lose votes from a large black population already, if the 2 became allies, the ANC and EFF would drive that propaganda with even more vigour. The coloureds won't follow either, because they mostly don't trust whites or blacks. So the coalition would fail for those reasons if done before the election. I think next year we will see a good rise in the FF+ from white voters alienated from the DA. The coloureds won't vote for the FF+, the DA alienated coloureds would probably rally behind the Cape Party (which I know nothing about). There could always be an agreed upon coalition after the results, which would give the 3 parties(catering to the 3 different races, but with mostly the same objective) more power, but they wouldn't do it before the elections, that would be suicide. The assassinations are from ANC KZN-municipal delegates to IFP municipal delegates, but the assassinations are mostly on the ANC members in KZN, but the ANC have been doing a lot of this to intimidate rival parties. The Frik Muller case has been denied its 4th appeal for bail. This is hectic, please share this with everyone. (Background story; this farmer fired one of his workers but the worker refused to leave the house that is for workers only. After the farmer asked help from police and every other line he could to no avail, he decided to scrap his house. The worker refused to exit the house and a fallen brick caused him minor injuries. Now the farmer is in jail for attempted murder, who was denied bail 4 times pending the trial. The reason given is that he is a danger to the worker who is still occupying the house illegally. Yes. This is a good way to get the farmer off his land.)
