I would love to have a home gym, but $400 is about 5 years membership at my gym. I can walk to my gym though so it's pretty convenient.

I took the survey. I said I had 4 years of college when I really just have 2 years of Naval Nuclear power school. I don't have a formal degree but I think it's roughly equivalent.

Is there any good way to learn a martial art on your own? I'm pretty isolated where I live and I have nobody to spar with.

Depends on the bar. In a small town the bar is where everyone hangs out so it's not as degenerate, but I'd steer clear of night clubs.

Does anyone need help planting their garden?

What kind of plant?

I'm not sure about cucumber but you need to grow the pine tree seedlings indoors until they are between 6 and 12 inches tall.

One per pot. Water frequently and make sure your soil pH isn't messed up. You can buy test strips at any garden store.

It should be 5.5 to 7 unless your trees call for something else.

Checking on the wheat fields. No women yet.

I'm looking for the ones that have sprouted.

Yeah I love it! I learned how to drive a Semi today. I've got to practice quite a bit more but I've got the basics. I've learned more useful life skills in a week here than I did in the last 6 years.

Sorry I was calling someone else and miss clicked

I was pocket posting there for a second. I had to put my phone away because I'm actually still at work.

Where I come from lot's of wheat fields and cows.

We have about 900,000 people in the state and 3.6 million cattle.

@Deleted User you should also check with you city. Some places only allow you to pump to the sewer during the winter. If you need to pump to your lawn get a long plastic hose and punch a few holes along the length to distribute the water over a larger area. I use my bilge water to water my bushes and garden.

Bi-monthly wheat fields update: Still no women.

The sad thing is that if he would have just embraced us we could have taken care of him. We have the national network. For example if anyone gets doxxed and needs to get out of their home town for awhile you can come stay with me. I live in the middle of nowhere.

@TV#8133 I don't actually live in the Windows XP background. I'm just the guy who grows them. Background farming is a small and neglected portion of the meme farming community.

Also I think I just figured out why I'm single.

So my job for tonight is to find and grease every single greaser on this piece of equipment. Wish me luck.

https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/322712586741088256/448665851562819586/20180522_205113.jpg

@JesseJames HaHaHa. I lost count at 60. There's 7 per set on the front caster wheels alone. I'm pretty sure I missed some too.

@JesseJames yeah I had an electric grease gun. If I had to do it manually I'm pretty sure I'd still be crawling around looking for greasers.

We are mentioned here. It might be a good idea to contact Anglin and let him know our side of the story on Dodson seeing how he is connected to us.

Just so @everyone knows if you are doxxed and need a place to lay low you can always come stay with me for a few weeks while the heat dies down. If you are having trouble please let someone know.

Dodson mentioned reading about us before going to Cville. I was there and I never even saw him. I'm sure Anglin will be willing to write a follow up. Nothing that he wrote is malicious or even technically incorrect it's just what he heard. Unfortunately Dodson did mention us even though he wasn't a member.

Grain bins need to be leveled in order to allow air to flow properly through the grain and prevent rotting. Bins keep getting bigger but a few guys with scoop shovels are still the preferred method.

Needless to say I will not be lifting tonight.

Here's one we leveled earlier.

And here is a picture of our bin site

It's been fairly good so far this year. We are right on the edge of the High Plains also known as the Great American Desert. Its dryer than the farms around where I grew up but everything is growing so far.

I'm making some serious progress. This truck wouldn't start when I got here. I diagnosed and fixed it myself and now I have a farm truck all my own.

It was actually a pretty simple fix once I found the problem. The low idle screw was worn down. All it needed was a few turns and it runs good as new. Took me awhile to figure that out though.

What they didn't realize is that by liberating people from sexual repression created an entire class of people who despite being exposed to a hyper sexualized culture are still unable to get laid. Imagine what would be worse. An Incel in Victorian England who has never seen a girls ankles or an incel at ASU whose roommate is literally banging a girl 10 feet away from him. Which one do you think will snap first?

Also check your spare every time you check the rest of your tires. You should be checking your tire pressure monthly at the very least. Just take an extra second at the gas station and check them everytime you fill. It can end up saving you money on fuel and it might even save your life. One of my coworkers had a blowout like this while taking his daughter to kindergarten. He said it was the scariest moment in his life. Sometimes a blowout is unavoidable but no little white girls should be put at risk because you couldn't be bothered to do regular preventative maintenance.

Tool tuck is A-ok in my book. Also pants that are torn or dirty because you actually work.

Firehose pants from Duluth Trading company are awesome btw

Unfortunately no.

These firehose pants seem to be holding up pretty well. I do a lot of crawling under equipment and I haven't torn them yet. They are a little bit warmer than jeans but they protect you better. Plus I like the pocket design. There's a good place for everything.

She threw up in my pickup today. I'm tempted to take you up on that. Lol @micbwilli

Wheat field update #3: Due to a continuing lack of women we have decided to fertilize the wheat fields. Will update again in 15 days.

@L1011TriStar I know a few ranchers. What kind of experience do you have?

2018-05-30 21:31:01 UTC [Fitness #nutrition]

Well if you're looking to keep your day job then I can't really help you there but if you really like it, and ever want to get some experience working with a large outfit, guys around here are always looking for hired men.

2018-05-30 21:33:39 UTC [Fitness #nutrition]

I work for a 24000 acre farm near Pierre, SD. I love it out here.

2018-06-01 17:39:23 UTC [Fitness #nutrition]

@here If any of you guys are interested in farming you can shoot me a DM. I work on a 24,000 acre farm in South Dakota. I've only been working here for about a month but if I can't answer your questions I can find someone who can.

2018-06-04 16:22:56 UTC [Fitness #cycling]

@Tanner - SC you find any wamen out there in those wheat fields?

2018-06-04 16:29:47 UTC [Fitness #cycling]

Ours isn't quite there yet

Well we are mostly running sprayers right now so hopefully they can get between the wheels.

Yeah our ground out by the river is pretty sandy. Not that bad though.

A farming channel probably would fit into the practical skills server.

@everyone I'll be posting all future farming photos here.

Right now I'm prepping some hunting ground. We'll plant our leftover corn seed out here and leave it for the wildlife. Pheasant season starts in October and goes to the beginning of January.

@Pat-MA I work for my second cousin. We farm 24000 acres.

If you need a size comparison the average farm in the United States is 434 acres but that's probably partly affected by micro farms that only do a few acres.

I was actually really surprised when I saw how low the national average was. We have fields that are 1200 acres.

If I had one complaint it would be the absolute state of the bitches around here!

I don't know. We supposedly have a smaller one but I've never seen it.

These two run on hydraulics but it's possible that they make some that use a PTO if your tractor doesn't have hydraulic hookups.

This one needs some work. This is how you move equipment when the shop is too small to turn the tractor.

I think I'm going to need a bigger tractor.

My dog really likes to help.

The women should be arriving soon.

@Deleted User I thought you might be interested in the control setup on that smaller tractor I was driving today.

https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/453241577062662146/454462881296285707/20180607_124312.jpg

Its called a quad-range. The front levers are your throttle and gear selectors. The back leavers control your hydraulics.

There are only three foot petals. The clutch on the left and the breaks on the right.

Nice thing about these older tractors is that you can leave your dog in them. Newer tractors with electronic controls are too easy for your dog to bump. Guys have died because they left their dogs in the cab while they go fix something.

For comparison the controls on a modern quadtrac are a bit more complicated.
