Are you worthy of The Golden One's personal line? https://legiogloria.com/

Appreciate the honesty XD

Der Seeteufel - SD 2018-02-23 11:24:16

These boots are expensive but mine lasted through 6 years of daily wear from Illinois to South Carolina, up state New York, and Guam. I still wear them to work now but they should probably be retired soon as the soles are starting to crack.

Der Seeteufel - SD 2018-02-23 11:46:11

Oh and I should mention I regularly polished them. Very Regularly! They won't last half that time if you don't take care of the leather.

@Argument of Perigee if I could look like his gloriousness...if only

nils 2018-02-23 17:18:41

Salomons seem to be a better deal than those navy boots, especially with all the bad reviews those ones are getting. Redwings are also really good workboots if you need steeltoe, costs about the same and you can get the soles replaced as needed.

John O - 2018-02-23 17:19:19

John O - 2018-02-23 17:20:43

I know a guy who has 2 pairs of Red Wings, wears the sole out if one, gets it re-soled and wears the other one. He's been doing that with the same pair for 10 years. Has probably spent ~$1300 over those years on boots

Deleted User 2018-02-23 18:32:56

For boots, go with Red Wing. Great quality, made in America, classic style

micbwilli 2018-02-23 18:50:02

$1100 Invicta watch picked up on sale new for $158. Did I win at FASHion?

Freiheit - CA 2018-02-23 18:55:47

I used to have a pair of Corcoran 10" side zips. Polished everyday. Eventually had to let go of the Mohawk and grow up. Lol. Miss those boots. Used them as work boosts for a long time after they are beat to shit.

micbwilli 2018-02-23 19:13:02

Corcoran and Double H brand jump boots are the nicest. Toss on a coat of parade gloss shoe polish and you are in business.

Valaska 2018-02-23 21:59:13

I wore some Volcom Smithingtons for 4-5 years. Now I'm in these timberlands

RevStench 2018-02-23 22:00:16

Justin boots are the shit. I have 2 pair I've been rotating out for about 10 years.

RevStench 2018-02-23 22:00:56

@Valaska that's not a boot. That's a high top

RevStench 2018-02-23 22:01:44

No shit kicking in those things haha

RevStench 2018-02-23 22:01:52

I'm just fucking with you

Valaska 2018-02-23 22:02:10

These BOOTS have seen some action!

RevStench 2018-02-23 22:02:50

Haha I'm a farm boy, so boots to me have a heel

Valaska 2018-02-23 22:02:50

Are Justin boots like work boots? I think my buddy has a pair of them

RevStench 2018-02-23 22:03:27

Work and casual. More along the lines of "cowboy" boots

Valaska 2018-02-23 22:04:26

I could have sworn they're justin, because that's his name... they're his prized possession

Anthony Sealy - MO 2018-02-23 22:04:43

If you don't actually live on a ranch and you're worried about what it looks like, you can get Justin's without the cowboy stitching and they're nice.

RevStench 2018-02-23 22:05:25

Justin makes some red wing style boots too.

RevStench 2018-02-23 22:07:16

I got a pair of Rocky boots last year, I spend a lot of time on a ladder and these Rocky have a metal plate in the sole where your foot would sit on a ladder. Oh man no more sore feet. Nice boots too. Kind of cheap too, like $125

Valaska 2018-02-23 22:09:28

I had some rockys back in the day.

Valaska 2018-02-23 22:10:07

Any experience with waterproofing boots ?

Valaska 2018-02-23 22:10:37

My feet have been constantly wet since it snowed in these timberlands

RevStench 2018-02-23 22:11:18

I like that they make boots that fit the job your doing.
Every boot I wear is waterproof. Never really had to do anything to them.

RevStench 2018-02-23 22:11:53

I bet there are some red necks on here who have experience with that haha

Valaska 2018-02-23 22:12:36

I wish I had gotten another pair of volcoms.

RevStench 2018-02-23 22:13:04

They make boots?

Valaska 2018-02-23 22:13:32

Yeah. Best boots I've ever owned

Valaska 2018-02-23 22:13:54

Wore them for work casual hiking everything

RevStench 2018-02-23 22:14:03

Oh wow, I didn't know that.

RevStench 2018-02-23 22:15:00

Pretty good sole on them? I tend to wear it out quick.

Valaska 2018-02-23 22:15:08

They're a little dressy like my timberlands but tuff as shit

Valaska 2018-02-23 22:15:12

RevStench 2018-02-23 22:15:51

Oh crazy. When I think volcom I think skate shoes

RevStench 2018-02-23 22:20:23

Flexfit hats are the best hats ever made, I swear by them. I've been wearing the same hat every single day since June 2001

the Official Preppy Handbook is a bit old but it's got some good stuff if you're looking for the classic New England Prep look

Deleted User 2018-04-09 21:33:12

I've also found this blog to be good on trad/prep aesthetics http://www.ivy-style.com/

John O - 2018-04-09 22:13:13

@Deleted User Very nice. From that last link, I found a link to a Scottish importer. I wish I had found it 6 months ago, as I was looking for some nice wool clothes

John O - 2018-04-09 22:15:05

My grandma used to have an Irish import shop on Long Island. It was a hobby for her, and never really turned a profit. I wish there were the kinds of homogeneous strongholds that would make something like that possible where I live

JesseJames 2018-04-11 19:19:22

JesseJames 2018-04-11 19:20:25

First pair of "wolverines". Have had them for a month and so far they've held up great. But the reason for the post is because they're the most comfortable pair of steel toe work boots I've owned.

RevStench 2018-04-11 20:12:41

@JesseJames awesome, it's hard to find comfortable steel toe. I had a pair of Worx steel toe shoes, oil and slip resistant and they were like walking on a cloud.

JesseJames 2018-04-11 20:41:07

I've tried all of the name brand [redwings Justin's etc] and these by far are superior.

Thomas Morrow 2018-04-12 11:22:47

I really like danner

Thomas Morrow 2018-04-12 11:23:27

They're extremely comfortable and a lot of them are recraftable

Thomas Morrow 2018-04-12 21:14:01

Fox 2018-04-18 15:51:54

Does anyone have a suggestion for a brand and/or website for boots. Particularly for everyday ware as opposed to work/hiking?

TV 2018-04-18 15:53:49

Red Wing Heritage collection. High quality boots with a timeless look appropriate for everyday wear, but can also hold up in work conditions. Take a look at the Blacksmiths and Iron Rangers.

TV 2018-04-18 15:56:52

Wolverine 1000 Miles are similar to the Blacksmiths, but a little slimmer.

RevStench 2018-04-18 16:05:57

Justin and Double H

John O - 2018-04-18 16:15:30

My first pair of work boots when I was 18 were Wolverines. I can't remember the model, and I'm not happy about it. They were really good lace ups with a high ankle

John O - 2018-04-18 16:26:25

Lel, Wolverine has an "Overman" model

Thomas Morrow 2018-04-19 11:06:23

Again- danner ftw

Thomas Morrow 2018-04-19 11:06:39

You really can't go wrong

Thomas Morrow 2018-04-19 11:07:32

They've got a model for just about everything

Thomas Morrow 2018-04-19 11:13:19

Seriously though- a lot are made in America, most are recraftable, they're extremely comfortable, and they still stitch the soles down on a lot of them(which is important to me personally)

The Morrígan 2018-04-21 03:36:12

@Thomas Morrow did female versions for these exist? 🙃

Thomas Morrow 2018-04-21 05:02:50

Honneur et Patrie 2018-04-22 02:48:47

I have a few of their shirts and the partisan jacket. Good quality stuff. Shirts are soft and have a nice fit with good print

NeoRealist 2018-04-23 00:52:54

Those tan jogger pants are only worn by Mexican f*ckboys from what I've seen

Rogue 2018-04-23 00:56:32

Yeah, I ordered the white Spirit of '56 shirt. By far my favorite design + good message.

NeoRealist 2018-04-23 01:16:34

As far as pants go, just wear dark colored jeans

NeoRealist 2018-04-23 01:16:49

Most practical and refined looks come from that

Rogue 2018-04-23 01:17:52

I've always thought light jeans were cool

Rogue 2018-04-23 01:18:09

as long as u aren't a complete neet

NeoRealist 2018-04-23 01:18:22

Light jeans remind me of cowboys or rebellious 90's teen aesthetics

Rogue 2018-04-23 01:18:29

NeoRealist 2018-04-23 01:18:34

Not what you're trying to go for when you want a refined bourgiouse look

Attrition in the desert 2018-04-23 01:18:55

Nothing triggers lefties like refined bourgiouse

NeoRealist 2018-04-23 01:19:30

I always ask myself: If I were to be doing activism with IE, would I be confident and wanting to be seen wearing this? Will my outfit be something a typical member of IE may wear?

NeoRealist 2018-04-23 01:19:58

IE basically owns the refined bourgiouse look lmao

Rogue 2018-04-23 01:20:00

Some goys can rock a bomber jacket and light blue jeans. that's all I'm saying. haha

NeoRealist 2018-04-23 01:20:07

NeoRealist 2018-04-23 01:20:12

But even then, why?

NeoRealist 2018-04-23 01:20:37

Seems like you're larping as a 1950's teenager as opposed to genuinely presenting yourself

Attrition in the desert 2018-04-23 01:20:55

Idk if you dress it up a bit, a bomber jacket with chinos and a dress shirt can be aesthetic.

Rogue 2018-04-23 01:21:16

I'm not saying full greaser or some shit

Rogue 2018-04-23 01:21:32

bomber jacket is that rare nowadays

NeoRealist 2018-04-23 01:22:49

Aren't we all literally middle class?

Attrition in the desert 2018-04-23 01:23:06

The vast majority of us I would say

NeoRealist 2018-04-23 01:23:19

How is that larping if we're the real thing lol

NeoRealist 2018-04-23 01:24:12

I don't like bomber jackets because they tend to be fairly bulky and present a rough aesthetic.

NeoRealist 2018-04-23 01:24:22

Cardigans are better.

NeoRealist 2018-04-23 01:24:30

They have a much slimmer fit and look sensible.

Rogue 2018-04-23 01:25:00

Refined bourgeois is a real larpy way to put it, when you just made an argument against larping. And yeah, I'm upper-middle class but work a blue collar job in Texas. I like the rough aesthetic. I've never been slim and therefore I'm not a big fan of the 'slim fit' look.

Rogue 2018-04-23 01:25:34

to each his own, goy, as long as u don't look like shit

NeoRealist 2018-04-23 01:25:52

Well, if you're bigger, then yeah it makes sense

Attrition in the desert 2018-04-23 01:27:30

A lot of people associate the 'slim' look with the soy crowd now a days, I don't think a bomber is necessarily rough like you might imagine 50's edgy highschoolers to be. As long as you can pull it off and still be classy, like you want to appear it should be fine.

NeoRealist 2018-04-23 01:28:13

I'll have to see it. 50's teenager isn't the first thing that comes to mind when I think of classy lol

NeoRealist 2018-04-23 01:28:38

I think the soyboy crowd is defined by the way they conduct themselves as opposed to how they dress

Attrition in the desert 2018-04-23 01:28:39

I mean 'rough' for that association.

NeoRealist 2018-04-23 01:29:03

Attrition in the desert 2018-04-23 01:30:27

That being said, a nice wool cardigan can really pull an outfit together, only getting in soy territory if you overdo it.

Attrition in the desert 2018-04-23 01:31:08

I've always thought of it as a kind of struggle between stoicism and affluence.

Attrition in the desert 2018-04-23 01:31:38

Like you respect yourself and others enough to put effort into your appearence, but you don't dress like a dandy 100% of the time.

Rogue 2018-04-23 01:31:46

Rogue 2018-04-23 01:32:27

I don't even own a bomber jacket, for the record. I just think some guys can really pull them off. For dress casual, I've always gone with polos or long sleeved shirts and a nice pair of jeans.

Rogue 2018-04-23 01:32:39

have never owned khakis or a cardigan

wolfwood 2018-04-23 05:13:35

There was a right wing clothing company called RWDS, then they disappeared, then I found Western Outlands Supply Co. which had very similar designs, then THEY disappeared...and now The Right Brand - though this one has different designs. Could they be related? Do they get shut down by antifa and rebrand? Or is this all a coincidence?

Attrition in the desert 2018-04-23 05:14:52

C o i n c i d e n c e

John O - 2018-04-23 05:59:41

RWDS shirts had a terrible fit. I'm skinny and tall, and my Rhodesia shirt fits like garbage

Rogue 2018-04-23 22:47:55

I got two shirts from RWDS. Cool designs but shirt material/fit was meh, yeah.

Deleted User 2018-04-24 01:16:10

@wolfwood The Right Brand is one of our guys.

Deleted User 2018-04-24 01:16:20

Jacob 2018-04-24 01:22:11

No one would probably mind

Rogue 2018-04-28 20:45:55

Got my shirt from The Right Brand today. The material feels awesome and it fits perfectly. Better quality than stuff from RWDS. Very happy

John O - 2018-04-28 21:07:35

Nice, dude. I was super pissed about my shitty RWDS Rhodesia shirt. I paid $27 buck and it was garbage. I'll get something from there later

Attrition in the desert 2018-04-29 22:38:22

Thinking about getting the fash cut, any reason why I shouldn't?

NeoRealist 2018-04-30 17:05:50

Would you be able to manage it frequently?

NeoRealist 2018-04-30 17:06:29

Hard parts don't last long, not to mention 1's don't take long to look messy. You'll have to get another cut in a week or so.

Deleted User 2018-04-30 18:21:06

@micbwilli according to this article it's also called an "undercut" or an "undershave"

@micbwilli if you go to a proper barber it's called an Ivy League or a Harvard clip, tell him you want an Ivy League with a fade for the really short sides, it's blended better than an undercut. Undercuts made a huge come back in the 90s, you don't want that, you want class. You might have to show him a picture to get the sides right.

RevStench 2018-05-15 20:27:10

If you don't want a weight line then you're going to get an undercut.

RevStench 2018-05-15 20:27:49

That bit on the side is the weight line

Deleted User 2018-05-15 20:39:08

yeah ask for an undercut or like "disconnected undercut"

Deleted User 2018-05-15 20:39:17

he'll be able to understand

Deleted User 2018-05-15 20:39:30

say whether you want it faded or not etc

Favorite outfit atm

Jacob 2018-05-20 04:51:15

Are there any other good pro-white clothing brands?

Jacob 2018-05-20 04:51:49

I'm still trying to find the right balance between being too obvious and being too obscure

Deleted User 2018-05-20 10:10:55

@Suomi Stronk Way to fill it out homie. I have the same one plus the spirit of 56

NeoRealist 2018-05-29 02:57:47

Wearing graphic tees are a bit immature tbh

Deleted User 2018-05-29 02:58:36

Deleted User 2018-05-29 02:58:50

generally I'd agree

Deleted User 2018-05-29 02:59:06

that ones fine though

NeoRealist 2018-05-29 02:59:57

Still, a good look IMO is dark jeans (not ripped) vans, and a non-graphic t

NeoRealist 2018-05-29 03:00:04

At the very minimum/most casual

Deleted User 2018-05-29 03:00:28

90% of my T's are plain colors

NeoRealist 2018-05-29 03:00:34

Good lol

Deleted User 2018-05-29 03:00:51

nothing beats a black T

Deleted User 2018-05-29 03:01:50

crew, not v

Deleted User 2018-05-29 03:02:04

and disavow these ripped jeans

NeoRealist 2018-05-29 03:02:29

If I were to go more refined, I would go boot-style shoes, dark non ripped pants, and a polo

NeoRealist 2018-05-29 03:03:01

NeoRealist 2018-05-29 03:03:03

Like this

NeoRealist 2018-05-29 03:04:05

Layers are also good. Like a white dress shirt under a sweater. Or, a cardigan in mild temperatures over a solid color t shirt

Deleted User 2018-05-29 03:05:26

yeah I fvck with those dressy boots

NeoRealist 2018-05-29 03:06:04

Idk. I'm torn on ripped pants (no pun intended). I think that as far as IE goes, we want a refined and professional look. Ripped pants are intended to make you look tough/edgy, but the look comes across often as really shallow to where you look like you're trying too hard and are being a f-ggy poser.

NeoRealist 2018-05-29 03:07:06

He can look the part a bit better

NeoRealist 2018-05-29 03:07:11

But most can't

NeoRealist 2018-05-29 03:07:16

Even muscular guys

Deleted User 2018-05-29 03:07:57

t shirts look horrid on nonmuscular guys imo

Deleted User 2018-05-29 03:08:11

I've recently become all too keen on noticing this

Deleted User 2018-05-29 03:08:40

men just look 99% better, bigger

NeoRealist 2018-05-29 03:08:57

Looking good in t shirts all depend on the size

NeoRealist 2018-05-29 03:09:23

If you're non muscular, you can pull off a small t because it better hugs your body and makes you look a bit more filled out

Deleted User 2018-05-29 03:11:05

pro tip

Deleted User 2018-05-29 03:11:14

Deleted User 2018-05-29 03:11:17
