Even the Bolsheviks, who had plenty of internationalist rhetoric changed pretty quickly when they realized that that stuff doesn't work in real life. The actual Soviet Union ended up having very strict borders and autonomous ethnic Republics with internal passports. They also banned porn, and trannies would have been unthinkable. So, to answer your question, economic leftism does not lead to social leftism.

Saying that socialism is just about going grabbing people's wealth is an oversimplification.

Corporations objectively take advantage of the power of the state to build wealth. Making sure they give back to the community enough to ensure a standard of living for the workers is not a lot to ask for.

I don't think anyone in IE is advocating for total equality. There should still be hierarchy and business should be rewarded, but we should also take care of our working class.
