@guacmerchant Only after 3 scoops of 51/50
the aughts were a time where I didn't play vidya, so I get to back and play the best of
@guacmerchant I lighten my hair to be more blonde to dab on Mestizos
Howโs the weather in everyoneโs respective states? We had tornadoes in Florida today
Patrick will teach us all how to transform into Super Aryan 3
it snowed in maine today
Rainy cool and dark, perfect!
@Grossly Incandescent Bad rainstorms in Southern Pa
@Grossly Incandescent yikes, we had some drizzle today, but it will clear up tomorrow
rain in georgia
AP, have you been to chester county?
@Flint you probably got the same storms we did
@missliterallywho stands up straight and wears heels to dab on Squatemalan persons
MD got nailed with rain tonight.
Hmmm.
Most video games now a days are created by soy and feminists, don't buy them unless it's like Days of Infamy or Hearts of Iron.
You couldโve ended your sentence at donโt buy them
There's so many great retro games that are established as great to care about modern pozzed games
This is why retro looking games are so popular
Even bugmen know deep down
@Selma One county over in Lancaster. I've been through there, but not really visited anything
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YuhQcpQlc2E this game looks pretty lit also I have absolutely no involvement in the development of this game
Yep. I personally buy them so my kids can have vidya to play in the future
Retro games = home schooling
hot take
Neat
Playing video games for accuracy
@Nemets an accurate rendering of Slavic life
Metro 2033 is pretty accurate russia
Fallout NV is good enough for me
Haven't bought a new game in a while
NV was best fallout fite me
Kingdom Come: Deliverance is good.
Fallout 2 is probably the best fallout
@Ald there is a Fallout NV overhaul set in California that just came out.
Chernobyl dogs are also thriving.
I've never played a fallout game, is it that fun
?
Yeah
Haha, russian tamed foxes
If hoarding is your idea of fun theyโre a blast
It's all about the exploration and crafting
not the combat isn't good
Very cute little fox.
fallout nv can just be a good ol fps
You truly visited Chernobyl?
Oh my gosh.
Very cool
Is it spooky?
I bet it's very serene
@Selma do you have involvement in that game you posted?
Yes, Chris. You may remove it. I am sorry that I plugged it.
I don't like crafting games, too autistic
need 4 guides and a walk through taped to your head to play
Oosh I bet
@Selma that's cool! did you program for it? artwork?
I am doing the music for it.
ANd sound effects
That's awesome, good luck with it!
Thank you, Chris!
Functional hospitals filled with people are bad enough I can only imagine what an abandoned one is like
OH my.
Oh gawd
That is indeed haunted.
Straight outta silent hill
@Nemets that's you're pic?
I can only imagine what is growing in that elevator shaft.
My wife is obsessed with abandoned places, sheโd love to visit Chernobyl
@Selma pyramid head
@Nemets urban exploration is really fun
Stunning pictures, Nemets. It's fortunate that you didn't leave some IE flags there.
Plz god no
We don't need international incidents
@ThisIsChris Iโd like to sleep sometime tonight lol
@Nemets I think I'll past on that one dawg
oh jesus christ
Spooped
Im so scared thanks mods
Please don't put me in IE jail.
Pg 13 pls
Lol
Demons are gay
The time for spooks is OVER, this is now a wholesome tradcon painting server.
And honestly that is disappointing
That wasn't a demon, that was my friend I met after I spelled "C O M E I N" on my ouija board.
Wholesome
@Nemets what do you think the fox is doing there?
What a beautiful little foxy loxy.
Nature reconquista
I hear the DMZ is surprisingly full of fauna as well
god it would be so nice to have a tradwife like that one day
Any conservationists here?
Wow
My goodness.
I see baby doll legs.
Stop
My grandma has told me about gasmask drills she did as a kid
@guacmerchant ๐ฒ
๐ฒ
๐ฒ ๐ฒ ๐ฒ
AnPrim gang gang gang
Well fortunately those kids moved and prospered elsewhere.
Ruh-right?
The community members were ok iirc
IE international trips would be very fun.
Dunno what the first one is but the second is the new sarcophagus under construction and the third is the theater
B I G
@Nemets are you kidding? that looks like a farm industry thing
I heard the radioactive reactor is burning downward and will hit an aquifer soon?
That's so beautiful.
@Nemets how does their country view that piece of their history? Is it like a national shame or something? Or do they feel differently about it?
It's poignant to see industry and nature so close.
Good video
Wasn't there a nuclear reactor meltdown in Pennsylvania at some point?
I forget.
3 mile island
That. Thank you.
It is so poignant to see VICE doing documentaries about industry and nature
@Nemets interesting stuff
Even with the risk of meltdowns and reactor failures is nuclear still a better alternative to oil?
Yes.
Make Vice great again
ehhh...
anything goes wrong boom, vast swaths of earth and ocean ruined forever
Old sarcophagus a bit clearer
Very interesting, thank you for sharing @Nemets
Well the modern nuclear energy scientists says that the first world safety measures and engineering has reached a point that it's unlikely but the consequences of one stupid mistake is drastic. Also dealing with leakage is a problem.
Oh damn, you went there?!
>not building your nuclear power plant to look like giant boobs
Even the hospital stuff?
@missliterallywho that is very poignant
GTA 5 was the first thing I thought of
Sorry to be late to the party, was putting the 2.0 kid to sleep
So they could capture a 3 headed radioactive wolf and ship it to America
I thought you went urban exploring in CA somewhere...
Goodnight friends!
"Hey bro, wanna go to Chernobyl?"
"*No, and you're not my friend anymore*"
^^^This
Man now I want to watch blade runner
@guacmerchant that was a very cool vid
@Flint I love that cyberpunk feel: neon lights at night in the rain
@ThisIsChris Yea bretty spooky stuff
thank chan chan chan chan
@guacmerchant yeah it's interesting how at the end they were saying it's actually still being used and the same people still work there?
Reminder that pledges have the most A E S T H E T I C color
<@&488531212437159936> ^
what color are pledges?
vapewave
ah, purple
This is true
I have NPC grey
so Orange Man Bad, got it?
Needs to be a little lighter though
@Flint you have full member steel
technically NPC is also purple because of Apollo
@Nemets That's friggin nuts, bro. I'd go to some dangerous places, but Chernobyl is like 9 square feet balls level
I did date a girl from Kiev, though
Am I radiated?
Would you go back Nemets
@Flint yes you are
She's now an innawoods pagan DJ...
I don't play vidya much but Bioshock Infinite had great aesthetics, too bad it was all deployed as demonization
What's the blue and green name color mean?
Yea can't believe people just live their every day lives there as if it's nothing, Russians must have +3 toxicity resistance.
@Logan that's beautiful
Schedule it for the IE summer 19 trip
@guacmerchant they have to roll high on their d20s
Lmao
IE Myfarog group when
Wtf goes on in tajikistan
oh shyt, green is the Popo?
Blue is the elite? hmm
or any other of the stans nearby like turkmenistan
Grey is the npc middle class
besides from cool architecture
Kyrgyzstan developed apples
I've been to Afghanistan, it's not as pretty
Tbh I'd run a Myfarog game over some tabletop sim if a good number are interested
Looks like the California desert near Palm Springs--without the wind mills
Lol
Deserts are so much more inhospitable than pictures convey, you will literally die out there
Same time ?
@Wood-Ape - OK/MN Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
Our baby has radioactive spider powers
Just curious, why'd you guys go there of all places? Interest? Was just near by?
Wait that's China I think
Lmao at the mcdonalds popping up in the horizion
Did you guys see that giant pool shaped like a phoenix?
what are we talking bout now
Tf the structure is moveable ?
let me see if I can find a pic
Last year in Ukraine with some friends just goofing
@Logan they look like they've had a few drinks and they still don't give a fuck
The McDonalds
the title of that piece of art is also hilarious
What's it called?
And why is everything so cryptic?
"The letter to the turkish sultan"
@Flint this is probably Kazakhstan or China because there wasn't McDonald's in Kyrgyzstan
you could pretty much extrapolate the content of that letter from the picture
What a rowdy looking bunch of guys, I would not be comfortable in their company
same
i mean
if you understand what Cossacks are originaly
this would not surprise you
Conan the Barbarian levels of deceit
Cossacks were originally runaway peasants that settled on the frontiers and borders
because there would be no wealthy landowners in those parts
Selling wheat one minute, blades to your throat bartering your freedom the next...
Fuck yes I found that phoenix pic
Show the pic
and the govt of russia at first tried to capture some of them. but then they made a deal where they would protect the borders in exchange for freedom
I scrolled up, didn't see anything offhand
so they were basically peasants that were very tough and basically were vassals of the russian tsar
Just when I think I know history, you fellas bring me back down to earth
over time, they transformed into a more organized fighting force and became a crucial fighting unit of the cavalry
Cossacks exist even today
in fact, they are very right wing
I don't know Russian history at all outside of 1918 onward (and even then...)
The world's a big place...
their most famous stunt from the last decade is when they whipped Pussy Riot with whips during the Sochi olympics
Oh, that's them? I love those guys!
yeah
lol
based and redpilled
For anyone who has visited Kazakstahn, this is one of their ornamental gardens in Astana.
They should have consulted the painting
@guacmerchant that's cool, how do you know so much about the land of Borat?
@guacmerchant Wow, that looks pretty 60's scifi futuristic
raise your hand if you love retrofuturism
๐
Like, they have 7ft tall blonde women
That's what this is about
@YourFundamentalTheorum I don't I just remember wanting to visit some of the architectural wonders of the stans, despite the bad transport.
