My take isnโ€™t that there is a universal โ€œbestโ€ form of government. Some are better than others, generally speaking, but the validity and utility of a particular style of governance are often dependent upon a number of factors: historical, cultural, religious, racial, etc.

2018-10-23 06:12:24 UTC

Monarchy gets points for longevity, though.

2018-10-23 06:12:34 UTC

@TMatthews While I agree the possibility of a monarchy in the U.S. is lower due to the culture we are brought up in as stated earlier there defiantly is not anything contradictory behind American Identity and monarchy. It is possible for a country to go against past aggressions and find the best possible outcome.

2018-10-23 06:12:52 UTC

I would trust a bunch of peasants to sort it out together over "muh kings son"

2018-10-23 06:13:00 UTC

@Jawa Implying that monarchy is the best possible outcome lmao

2018-10-23 06:13:01 UTC

@Jacob i woudln't

2018-10-23 06:13:04 UTC

sorry

2018-10-23 06:13:09 UTC

@TMatthews Depending on the situation it can be

2018-10-23 06:13:09 UTC

most humans are stupid

2018-10-23 06:13:22 UTC

@Reinhard Wolff havenโ€™t seen that picture in a while

2018-10-23 06:13:23 UTC

All forms of government are good for a niche situation

2018-10-23 06:13:29 UTC

@TMatthews I agree it can't exist in this modernity, but I wouldn't say it was bad for the time.

2018-10-23 06:13:48 UTC

@ophiuchus I remember, too

2018-10-23 06:13:56 UTC

Leadership of the best. Is what we ought to strive for.

How we choose to define the criteria for "best", I'm open to ideas.

2018-10-23 06:14:01 UTC

To install traditionalism I would argue Monarchy or Fascism is the way to go

2018-10-23 06:14:09 UTC

@Jawa this

2018-10-23 06:14:11 UTC

or maybe a mix

2018-10-23 06:14:17 UTC

fascism for 20 years and then a moanrchy

2018-10-23 06:14:19 UTC

or smthing

2018-10-23 06:14:44 UTC

The Netherlands during the early 1900's has the ideal government for most people I would state

2018-10-23 06:14:54 UTC

Most humans are stupid, but the average is a better bet than betting on one guy to turn out well

2018-10-23 06:14:55 UTC

I would read into it tbh

2018-10-23 06:14:59 UTC

No fascist govt is going to give up control after any amount of time... <:really:453005408064241674>

2018-10-23 06:15:00 UTC

@Tyler0317 people with more cows are better than people with less cows

2018-10-23 06:15:13 UTC

Inevitably, you will end up with king retard

2018-10-23 06:15:18 UTC

@Jawa you have a link to read about the netherlands?

2018-10-23 06:15:28 UTC

@Tyler0317 I'll look for one

2018-10-23 06:15:33 UTC

@Jacob people actually turn out to be more stupid when they are in a group than alone

2018-10-23 06:15:35 UTC

First step is mandatory boot camp for all high school graduates(including the job specific training after basic)

2018-10-23 06:15:43 UTC

the group iq is the lowest iq in the group divided by 2

2018-10-23 06:16:11 UTC

okay now sure us some proof of that

2018-10-23 06:16:14 UTC

@Sacramento 100% agreed

2018-10-23 06:17:13 UTC

@Tyler0317 Cant find one that significantly describes it to the extent I would like to provide

2018-10-23 06:17:17 UTC

@Jacob i'll dm something to you

2018-10-23 06:17:38 UTC

@Jacob I don't really have a dog in the fight, but to counter your retard son king, kings have been getting couped and assassinated since kings existed.

2018-10-23 06:18:03 UTC

and again,
>implying monarchy is rule of one man

2018-10-23 06:18:08 UTC

>inb4 (((goldstein)))

2018-10-23 06:18:16 UTC

@Tyler0317 Basically it's a constitutional monarchy with a lot of restrictions on the monarch that allows for both authority and democracy to be achieved.

2018-10-23 06:18:27 UTC

@Deleted User True, but that takes away the main benefit monarchy can offer, which is the stability o a long time ruler

2018-10-23 06:18:37 UTC

@YourFundamentalTheorum I there's a rule about archiving all links

2018-10-23 06:18:46 UTC

@Sacramento woof forgot that one

2018-10-23 06:18:51 UTC

@Jawa roger

2018-10-23 06:19:14 UTC

bam

2018-10-23 06:19:25 UTC

Monarchy today would be largely the rule of the king's advisers and an even less accountable bureaucracy than we have today

2018-10-23 06:19:40 UTC

Even a good king can't supervise everything

2018-10-23 06:19:54 UTC

well it's still better than an international clique supervising everything

2018-10-23 06:19:56 UTC

(((Kings advisers)))

2018-10-23 06:20:45 UTC

the biggest problem today is probably lack of accountability

2018-10-23 06:20:59 UTC

Historically, monarchs have often fallen in debt to (((international financiers))) of their wars, but democracy hardly proved any more immune to subversion so I won't press that point too hard

2018-10-23 06:21:17 UTC

monarchs are also a much better rallying point than a democracy

2018-10-23 06:21:22 UTC

people would rather die for a monarch

2018-10-23 06:21:25 UTC

than a president

2018-10-23 06:21:28 UTC

who will be gone in 4 years

2018-10-23 06:21:43 UTC

*8...

2018-10-23 06:21:52 UTC

i'm talking about kamala harris here

2018-10-23 06:22:14 UTC

@YourFundamentalTheorum I think people would rather die for "the republic" than "the monarch"

2018-10-23 06:22:21 UTC

@YourFundamentalTheorum I disagree completely. People would rather die for their nation and their people, not for some random royal family. Perhaps that's different where the monarchy has been in place for centuries, but not here

2018-10-23 06:22:28 UTC

@Sacramento idk I would not die for any republic

2018-10-23 06:22:59 UTC

but that's me

2018-10-23 06:22:59 UTC

@Deleted User I'm not implying that. Retardo president would be pretty bad, even though presidents aren't dictators.

And couping and assassinating isn't something good to depend on.

2018-10-23 06:23:04 UTC

@YourFundamentalTheorum Then what would you die for?

2018-10-23 06:23:30 UTC

@Sacramento God and Tsar

https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/481597551272001546/504178033326948352/iu.png

2018-10-23 06:23:38 UTC

I would die for my people, not a system of government per se. That said, if the race issue was settled and we somehow had a monarchy, I'd try to tear it down because that is not what I want for my people

2018-10-23 06:24:02 UTC

I'd die for Trump Kahn tbh

2018-10-23 06:24:22 UTC

@Jacob when in the case of monarchy though, my point is it's exponentially easier to accomplish than any other governance

2018-10-23 06:24:50 UTC

Gentlemen, it's 1:20 AM here in TN.

Thank you all for the stimulating conversation.

๐Ÿ›

2018-10-23 06:25:01 UTC

@TMatthews Your people and your governing body are supposed to be synonymous. Maybe not these days, but that's how I meant it

2018-10-23 06:25:34 UTC

Everyone knows who Donald Trump is, most conservatives could barely explain the concept of "The Republic"

2018-10-23 06:26:07 UTC

Go with what you know

2018-10-23 06:26:13 UTC

@Sacramento Government by and for the people is something to die for, on the understanding that "the people" means just us whites, and that it cannot be completely democratic

2018-10-23 06:26:33 UTC

I like elections. I dislike universal suffrage

2018-10-23 06:26:37 UTC

whoever mentioned lack of responsibility, it was caused by the republic. The republic disseminates responsibility from representative to representative. Meanwhile an absolute monarch is responsible for everything, absolutely everything to God.

2018-10-23 06:26:53 UTC

@YourFundamentalTheorum That was a really good quote, but the problems I mentioned still stand.

Also, there are others ways of resolving the problem of dumb masses than monarchy.

2018-10-23 06:27:44 UTC

@Jacob htere is no fool proof way, so I as a religious person would put my trust in God and adovcate for the only God-approved form of govt in the Bible.

2018-10-23 06:27:52 UTC

to put it simply.

2018-10-23 06:27:59 UTC

Just because they're responsible for it doesn't mean monarchs automatically will get the best results, especially if there's nothing to punish poor performance

2018-10-23 06:28:05 UTC

well

2018-10-23 06:28:30 UTC

I'm not particularly religious, so that won't do much for me

2018-10-23 06:28:40 UTC

Same

2018-10-23 06:28:54 UTC

North Korea is pretty much a monarchy. Total rule, hereditary role, etc. And this is in modern times.

2018-10-23 06:29:05 UTC

i'm a juche nationalist

2018-10-23 06:29:07 UTC

2018-10-23 06:29:39 UTC

Imagine if my dad was a monarch. He'd be pretty disappointed in how the monarchy turned out.

2018-10-23 06:29:43 UTC

I've noticed that monarchists tend to be ultra-religious (usually Catholic) and yearning for the good old days before the Reformation when everything was orderly and theocratic. Not an attack. Just an observation. As a godless agnostic myself, I can't say that I relate

2018-10-23 06:29:44 UTC

I loved it when I made her meet patrick little.

2018-10-23 06:30:02 UTC

Based

2018-10-23 06:30:16 UTC

@TMatthews imo monarchy and hierarchy in general is the natural order. But you can have your own opinion
