2018-10-23 05:53:40 UTC

wasn't Franco a cuckservative monarchist?

2018-10-23 05:53:52 UTC

he had the chance to make spain great again

2018-10-23 05:54:02 UTC

but no, he had to put a B*urbon on the throne

2018-10-23 05:54:14 UTC

I've not heard the phrase cuckservative monarchist yet

2018-10-23 05:54:31 UTC

Anything is possible in stage 9 clown world

2018-10-23 05:54:41 UTC

@Deleted User i'm refering to the conservatives that one famous failed painter refered to

2018-10-23 05:54:44 UTC

the old elite

2018-10-23 05:54:55 UTC

who wanted everything to be like the old ways

2018-10-23 05:55:37 UTC

I understand

2018-10-23 05:56:20 UTC

Franco incorporated elements of Spanish political tradition. This is normal for fascists. Mussolini technically kept the monarchy in Italy too. Mosley wanted to retain the British Parliament. Spain didn't really go downhill until his successor decided to make it a democracy and socialists took over

2018-10-23 05:56:33 UTC

Franco is what we should all strive to be

2018-10-23 05:57:59 UTC

He was also staunchly pro-Catholic. Ideology always has to fit the population. I like Franco, but his particular style and stances don't fit America. I still think that we can and should reclaim the founding fathers as identitarian figures

2018-10-23 05:58:15 UTC

Franco has been described as a โ€œconservative authoritarianโ€ but I think reactionary suffices

2018-10-23 05:58:36 UTC

Restoring the monarchy was a poor choice, though.

2018-10-23 05:58:37 UTC

Franco was def not a fascist of any kind

2018-10-23 05:59:04 UTC

>Restoring the Monarchy was a poor choice

2018-10-23 05:59:20 UTC

>Monarchy
>Can be bad

2018-10-23 05:59:40 UTC

Swaziland is an absolute monarchy

OOF

2018-10-23 05:59:59 UTC

Yes, when the monarch quickly installs a democratic liberal regime.

2018-10-23 06:00:05 UTC

*states what sovereign right is*

2018-10-23 06:00:08 UTC

Swaziland is the only country in Africa to recognize Taiwan as the true China

2018-10-23 06:00:17 UTC

@Reinhard Wolff he should have put a Habsburg monarch, or a hohenzollern if he was desperate

2018-10-23 06:00:27 UTC

Actually its the Kingdom of Eswatini now bigots

Thereโ€™s more AIDS per capita in that country than people

2018-10-23 06:01:13 UTC

Swaziland?

2018-10-23 06:01:20 UTC

Yes

2018-10-23 06:02:02 UTC

Literally over 1/4th of the population

2018-10-23 06:02:06 UTC

Just looked up the aids and came across a cool site

2018-10-23 06:02:09 UTC

Yeah that one

2018-10-23 06:02:13 UTC

I personally blame the Spanish high command and people for allowing that to happen tbh

2018-10-23 06:02:18 UTC

Highest percentage in the world

2018-10-23 06:02:39 UTC

notice that figure only says adult @ophiuchus

2018-10-23 06:02:45 UTC

Meanwhile

2018-10-23 06:02:53 UTC

After fighting a war that cost your country 1/4th of it's population you would think they would understand but alas peasants will be peasants

2018-10-23 06:03:15 UTC

Idk why it says n/a

2018-10-23 06:03:41 UTC

Monarchies are problematic for the same reasons democracies are.

Monarchy-One weakling ruins everything
Democracy-Degenerate Plebians ruin everything

2018-10-23 06:04:08 UTC

>thinking monarchy is one man ruling

2018-10-23 06:04:12 UTC

Mixed system, for the win.

2018-10-23 06:04:14 UTC

I still support having a constitutional republic, but I think we need a test to vote

2018-10-23 06:04:32 UTC

Actually figuring from population data the US has an HIV prevalence of 0.337734111145226%

2018-10-23 06:04:44 UTC

Rounding is big gay

2018-10-23 06:04:52 UTC

It can be unbiased. Name all 50 states. Name at least half the presidents. Etc

2018-10-23 06:05:07 UTC

@Tyler0317 I mostly agree with that. As I believe you want a monarch at the top with a democratic base that will take care of the smaller forms of government.

2018-10-23 06:05:14 UTC

Monarchies are arguably much easier to fix @Tyler0317

2018-10-23 06:05:35 UTC

assassinations and nailing to a tree used to do the trick

2018-10-23 06:06:02 UTC

Any monarchy with real power wouldn't fly today (especially not in America) because nobody believes in divine right and it therefore lacks a claim to legitimacy

2018-10-23 06:06:03 UTC

(NOT ENDORSING VIOLENCE)

2018-10-23 06:06:04 UTC

lmao is that isreal in the bottom right

2018-10-23 06:06:12 UTC

Rate of HIV in Swaziland vs the US is 80.5:1

2018-10-23 06:06:15 UTC

If One were required be a property owner/tax payer/military veteran
to vote.

Problem solved

2018-10-23 06:06:33 UTC

@TMatthews They'll believe in divine right once the church has major power within the state

2018-10-23 06:06:44 UTC

I know a hyper leftists girl who thinks there should be a test to vote

2018-10-23 06:06:53 UTC

oy vey

2018-10-23 06:06:55 UTC

>Isreal
>Europe

2018-10-23 06:06:58 UTC

Baffling to me how thatโ€™s controversial

2018-10-23 06:07:01 UTC

@Jawa That ship has sailed, my bro

2018-10-23 06:07:08 UTC

I'm sorry, but monarchy is dumb. Sure, personality traits are heritable, but there's way too much variation to guarantee that the king's son is going to be fit for leadership. Might as well roll a dice.

2018-10-23 06:07:25 UTC

@Jacob are you obsessed with EU4?

2018-10-23 06:07:28 UTC

If you canโ€™t pick out what state you live in on a map you donโ€™t get to decide how your country is governed

2018-10-23 06:07:28 UTC

@Jawa No they won't. Churches don't even preach that today. If you're suggesting mandatory religious indoctrination plus a monarchy, you're going against literally everything that is American

2018-10-23 06:07:57 UTC

@Jacob do you propose a democratic leadership then? because then we will just run into the same problems we have today

2018-10-23 06:08:24 UTC

It's not about heribility it's about grooming from a young age. A leader that is groomed from the age of 12 will be better than a leader that puts their own advantages first with various forms of political pork and other forms of lobbying.

2018-10-23 06:08:31 UTC

uhhh how does EUIV come into this?

2018-10-23 06:08:36 UTC

>rolling the dice

2018-10-23 06:08:44 UTC

>random params of successors

2018-10-23 06:08:46 UTC

Democracy with a severely restricted franchise

2018-10-23 06:09:03 UTC

@ophiuchus woof, prime ground for a socialist revolution

2018-10-23 06:09:21 UTC

@TMatthews Mate I hate to break it to you but if a nations identity is based on "no king" than it has nothing to build upon. America is more than just an anti-monarchy state.

2018-10-23 06:09:24 UTC

You can't guarantee that the monarch will be good. If education worked like that, then civnats could make everyone a constitution loving, law abiding, tax paying, republican

2018-10-23 06:09:30 UTC

No, democracy. Constitutional Republic.

2018-10-23 06:09:58 UTC

You can't however you have a elective primenougure where the king chooses the best successor

2018-10-23 06:10:01 UTC
2018-10-23 06:10:04 UTC

@YourFundamentalTheorum lol isn't Sweden a monarchy? Ya dude I'd take democracy over "just give it to the king's doing", even if democracy isn't ideal

2018-10-23 06:10:14 UTC

sweden isn't an absolute monarchy

2018-10-23 06:10:21 UTC

it's a (((constitutional))) monarchy

2018-10-23 06:10:25 UTC

where the king is a literal puppet

2018-10-23 06:10:34 UTC

How did it end up that way?

2018-10-23 06:10:42 UTC

Peasants

2018-10-23 06:10:44 UTC

I'm not aware if there's a single legitimate monarchy left

2018-10-23 06:10:44 UTC

@Jawa Not just "no kings" but literally the entirety of US history comes from an origin that was fighting monarchy then crafting a balanced republic (the longest enduring one in history)

2018-10-23 06:10:47 UTC

the tl;dr peasants and feudalism

2018-10-23 06:10:52 UTC

Sweden was an absolute monarchy for a long time

2018-10-23 06:11:05 UTC

Even if you from from a young age, there's a lot of variables in how kids turn out

2018-10-23 06:11:24 UTC

I agree, but I don't think those are good grounds for giving the power to the uneducated masses

2018-10-23 06:11:24 UTC

*Gustavus Adolphus, libera et imperaaa*

2018-10-23 06:11:26 UTC

2018-10-23 06:11:36 UTC

Neither of my parents intended for me to be a white identitarian yet here I am

2018-10-23 06:11:47 UTC

ever read the dialogue with Meno?

2018-10-23 06:11:50 UTC

In the modern age, monarchy cannot exist like it once did. It's probably the second worst political ideology behind anarchism

2018-10-23 06:11:52 UTC

Plato talks about htis issue
