@Nemets No I don't. But there are a couple of other books on Long that might interest you. One is "Huey Long: A Biography" by T. Harry Williams. This is an excellent, in-depth report on all that happened. This is a classic.
And there is also "All the King's Men." A fictional telling of the Long story by the great genius Robert Penn Warren. A White man among White men.

But he was getting divorced and need to get some documents from the Saudi government. So he went to the Saudi embassy in Istanbul and disappeared. The Turks blandly put it out that he had been, "killed and chopped up. he is gone." They shrugged their shoulders and said, "It is regrettable, but what can you do." Yesteryears strife was Racial Polarization that was implicitly politicial, we are seeing political polarization that is implicitly racial - hard to frame it as "civil rights" given that dynamic and the fact that really all reasonable rights have been bestowed to blacks in this country.
