His poor mom
Fields was non-discriminate in his ramming. His attorneys seemed to argue entirely mentally, that what he did was spontaneous rather than premeditated. They should have focused on objective threats to his immediate safety, which I suppose were lacking. I guess trying to reduce 1st degree was all they could do
Would you put any weight into his statements after that on the phone with his mom or text messages before?
This should be seen as a learning experience for everyone why IE has it's rules
He was a scared young man on a day when the system collaborated with anarchists to shut *you* down who was lead down a one way street
(In the military, we'd have called that an ambush)
@Papa Pizzagate When did I say we should? The enemy obviously sees all "people who express concern for whites" (or whatever way of parsing it is acceptable to you) as a list to be dealt with and a judgment significantly informed by ideology is bad for anyone "who expresses concern for whites"
@Wood-Ape - OK/MN using terms like "enemy" is ammo for lawyers trying to nail you
There will come a day when we have someone worth rallying behind facing prosecution.
@Flint Doesn't matter, he still commited the act, you can't ram a vehicle into a bunch of people. Regardless of how scared you are or how confused you are.
Okay "people who don't like us and intend to do us harm" 😑
@William Russell what were in the text messages.
So and So did nothing wrong!
Hitler memes and such
When the city tried to shut it down from the beginning was a clear sign to me that things were going to get messy. Every time they tried that with other rallies that is what happened
It's only reported, the videos are not public, check this twitter somewhere: https://twitter.com/AltRightTruth
Good point @Sacramento
@Virgil first degree murder is bullshit tho
The left wing twitter accounts are picking that dude apart
The saddwst part is that cville is not an isolated situation.
This is the predominant case around the country
@ExternalPepsi Maybe, but there is certainly a strong manslaughter case here
@Virgil I could see that
@Virgil "Can't" does not mean "you wouldn't have done the same". Also, they "can't" be in the road during a State of Emergency--or at all
We can continue whining and moaning how it isn't fair...
OR we can start applying to these positions of power
@Goose thats literally the plan dude
Doesn't mean we can't talk about it rn
@ExternalPepsi i didn't get the memo <:sad:366743316475281408>
We just got word, it's not like it's been 2 weeks, geez
Goose will be governor of LA before you know it
Gibs pardons
We literally just got word of this less than an hour ago, it's understandable that we're all here pissed off
Honestly ladies and gents, there's not a whole lot we can do about the James Fields situation. We learned a great deal from that day and it's part of why our organization has survived through it all, as well as grown tremendously since then...both in numbers, as well as purpose and morals. Dwelling on his unfortunate situation isn't going to do much other than bother you individually.
His car reaches 60 mph in 6 seconds. He was premeditating to murder people, yet he only managed to reach 28 mph?
@âš¡Clarkâš¡ this
Sometimes people need to be bothered by this stuff
Charlotesville is a *very* biased town as far as juries go. I have hope for the appeal.
Again = learned helplessness
Battered wife mentality
It's okay to be pissed
