@Abbysol yes, laser cut

2018-11-26 02:50:56 UTC [Men's Human Rights #game]

My main problem would be aquiring a decent source of acrylic and regular access to a laser cutter. That and I am in new zealand, so shipping is expensive. Thanks for the compliment though!

2018-11-26 02:51:22 UTC [Men's Human Rights #game]

also I just noticed the center is slightly misaligned. Darn

2018-11-26 02:52:06 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

I like this

2018-11-26 02:52:14 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

this is,good

2018-11-26 02:52:20 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

good job

2018-11-26 04:11:00 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

And of course most feminists are completely normal and good people. So a fraction of a fraction.

2018-11-26 04:15:23 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

Correct

2018-11-26 04:15:28 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

feminism is for women

2018-11-26 04:16:06 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

Not because they oppose men's advocacy though

2018-11-26 04:16:19 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

Because MRAs are sexist AFATK

2018-11-26 04:18:14 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

And why?

2018-11-26 04:18:21 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

That is the real question

2018-11-26 04:18:31 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

That they do these things is not doubted

2018-11-26 04:18:45 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

but to say it is because they oppose equality is at best misguided

2018-11-26 04:19:26 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

It does not

2018-11-26 04:19:30 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

I never said it does

2018-11-26 04:19:42 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

but it changes how we can judge them on it

2018-11-26 04:19:49 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

and how we can solve the problem

2018-11-26 04:20:21 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

They do not oppose equality

2018-11-26 04:20:31 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

They oppose groups that supposedly fight for equality

2018-11-26 04:20:46 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

that is different than deliberately opposing all equality

2018-11-26 04:21:02 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

Yes

2018-11-26 04:21:06 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

Same with the MRM

2018-11-26 04:21:22 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

correct

2018-11-26 04:21:53 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

r/menslib does it fairly well

2018-11-26 04:22:51 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

Yes I have. I actually prefer it to r/mensrights right now

2018-11-26 04:23:00 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

some great discussions going on there

2018-11-26 04:23:01 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

Now

2018-11-26 04:23:11 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

give an example of it dismissing genuine problems

2018-11-26 04:23:50 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

which is a genuine thing?

2018-11-26 04:24:16 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

Yeppers. You have a problem with educating people about consent?

2018-11-26 04:26:42 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

@InsaneCaterpilla that is not what it is. It is about the form of rape known as "misinformed belief in consent". Not deliberate rape. And while it should be aimed more at both genders, the current meme around rape makes that challenging

2018-11-26 04:27:40 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

@Rai quite a few feminists are good with mens advocates when they understand what it is. I have changed a few minds myself, I would know

2018-11-26 04:30:40 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

@Rai so we need to talk more to these "big glamorous feminists"

2018-11-26 04:33:38 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

First part is unfortunately true, and the second part is also unfortunately true

2018-11-26 04:34:17 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

Unfortunately true also

2018-11-26 04:35:05 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

I gotta roll for now, see yall later

define "almost never"

2018-12-02 18:57:07 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

okayish

This is a meme now

2018-12-03 02:59:15 UTC [Men's Human Rights #game]

Aww

2018-12-04 18:56:40 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

#killallmen is on the most part not real content, and that video is discrimination not misandry.

2018-12-07 08:02:40 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

So

2018-12-07 08:02:50 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

what do we all think of this particular chap?

2018-12-07 08:02:59 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

His YT channel seems a little off

2018-12-07 08:03:13 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

and being on a FBI watchlist is rather interesting

2018-12-09 18:34:26 UTC [Men's Human Rights #memes]

That is an insane strawman and not representative of any real feminist.

2018-12-09 19:16:51 UTC [Men's Human Rights #memes]

Chanty Binx does not seem to have such a bad worldview really. Hardly the worst feminist because she used some rude words.

2018-12-09 23:41:49 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

Yes

that would lead to quick bans

I can

i am a sub there

It would take a lot of work to do so. Feminists (and to that extension menslibbers) engage in so much debate that they are generally tired of it.

2018-12-12 18:47:10 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

r/masculism

2018-12-16 03:29:20 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

Heyo @Nicholas Ramsey, good to see you here

2018-12-16 07:48:49 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

we now have 106 accounts

2018-12-18 04:39:13 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

@blueorange22 Hello there Blue. Good to see you again.

2018-12-28 09:56:45 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

2018-12-28 10:17:21 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

@blueorange22 I would like to make a full apology about the incident relating to MRACentral and the @centralMRA twitter account earlier this year. I have regretted that incident since it first happened, and it is the reason that I avoid twitter in general now. I know that my apology can never make up for the lasting impact my actions had on you, @turbulance4, and @James.

I respect your decision to ban me from the MRACentral discord and change the passwords on the various accounts, however I ask that you do not let past events affect our relationship today in this community.

2018-12-28 10:31:37 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

Don't forget to post on https://www.mhraconnect.com/

There should be less stigma associated with all mental disorders and seeking help

^

I hope so

As long as the bans are being done properly, that sounds fine by me

Something happened with bans?

Dang, and discord drama had only just settled down in one of my other servers

I guess there is no sleep for the tired

@InsaneCaterpilla it is midnight for me

personal touch

2018-12-28 12:29:49 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

Personally I am a little cautious about Tier 2 Rule 3. Due to some recent behaviour by the moderation team (and a not insignificant amount of experience with other servers) I feel that the term "trolling" is problematically nebulous and would require special attention to determine whether it is genuinely a malicious act or merely a person who likes to debate

2018-12-28 12:35:23 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

@Abbysol agreed. No single-mod bans would work

2018-12-28 12:36:30 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

Yeah

2018-12-28 12:36:41 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

Tier 3 is big ticket

2018-12-28 12:36:48 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

unlikely it will happen tho

2018-12-28 12:36:54 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

but ya never know

2018-12-28 13:10:34 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

๐Ÿ‘

2018-12-28 13:12:07 UTC [Men's Human Rights #lounge]

i wish to fly tiny rc helicopters over it

2018-12-28 13:13:55 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

Okay, so first off, I just want to make this clear that it is the same account. I just changed the name because I was bored of it.

2018-12-28 13:17:56 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

Now, I respect your belief that nobody with an educated view on the MRM can compare them to feminists. However, I dispute your belief on the basis that your worldview is solidly MRA, whereas mine is much more centered in between MRAs and feminists.

I do concur with you that certain feminist communities (such as r/askfeminists) have been polluted by moderators that power trip and have extremely strong beliefs.

2018-12-28 13:18:31 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

However, I do not see many "blatant lies" about the MRM and its associates

2018-12-28 13:18:48 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

Most claims made about the movement have a basis in reality

2018-12-28 13:20:37 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

Would you perhaps care to provide some examples so that I may evaluate them?

2018-12-28 13:25:32 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

I would not say that that is a claim about MRAs as much as a claim about society. If some people on r/askfeminists do genuinely believe that, then I feel that they need to take the time to better educate themselves (something I think everyone should do regardless)

2018-12-28 13:28:55 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

Right, so blue. First of all, it is definitely a low effort/antagonistic post. That is one of the most common questions on that sub, and it keeps getting asked.

2018-12-28 13:29:16 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

Also, can you slow down please? I am having a hard time keeping up

2018-12-28 13:29:30 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

'"Given that you posted the same thing on MR, and are now discussing our answers over there, I donโ€™t have much credence in this being a โ€œgood faithโ€ post. You are on the thinnest of all possible ice."
This one makes sense. It is very similar to quite a lot of "hur dur look at these stupid people" posts you see everywhere.

2018-12-28 13:31:45 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

Yes, that is fast for me mate. Not the fastest of typers here.

So the thing is, the question may have been relevant at first but it keeps getting asked. The example you linked is only 3 days old.

2018-12-28 13:33:57 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

Because the OP is "discussing" the answers in a Q&A thread in a community that is very clearly in opposition to the first group. And as it is asking a question about the POV of a specific group, it is not really something that you can get a balanced view of.

2018-12-28 13:34:33 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

If we could just refrain from bold and brash claims for the time being, that would be great.

2018-12-28 13:39:05 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

However, this particular thread is not existing in a vacuum chamber. There is a long history of negative and abusive behavior between the two groups. The only reason for one to post such a link is for the group being discussed to see criticisms

2018-12-28 13:40:26 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

@blueorange22 It is not nessecarily the positions of MRAs that are hateful, but rather the actions. I have read too many stories of feminists being harassed by self professed MRAs across the web.

2018-12-28 13:41:23 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

And other times it is rape and death threats @Men Are Human

2018-12-28 13:42:41 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

The problem on both sides is this: Each tries to paint the lowest common denominator of the opposing group as the average. Feminists are all painted as misandrist bigots, and MRAs are all painted as rape apologists

2018-12-28 13:44:34 UTC [Men's Human Rights #debate]

in an alternate world where MRAs had the power, no doubt the same thing would be shown
