Hey, great site!!
oh, it gets worse
ive been meaning to do another post
but basically, they have one for "disaster preparedness" to and it boils down to men being exlcuding from resources and rescue efforts
oh, its a real hoot
@Men Are Human just posted the reddit post. but yes, an article is a good idea. I sort of did an article format
yes, good idea
we need to set the right tone and standards
i think "serious business" sounds a lttle goofy
we need to be casual but still taken seriously
how about just "serious"
yes, coming along really well. and i really like the website
yeah and good call going with "serious", i like it
i definitely wanna get on writing articles for the site
im finishing a script so ill have time, ill probably take a break until after new years
i can write a lot then
and theres no logical reason why a specific mens group shouldnt exist for such issues. it makes no sense when feminists say everything should be under their umbrella
even male specific things
i like the lounge to. it'll be good to have a social feel
more welcoming and encourages peopleo visit
eventually we might have branched out and have more social threads, like for movies or travel, etc
maybe have an MRA social media network
a la a facebook for the MRM.
i wish i knew how to code. i think ill take a course
greta van fleet makes me think an MRA band would do real well. we're becoming like the counter cultures of the 60s, punk rock, etc
like a normal band with non political lyrics, but with a "vibe", a la guns n roses
nice, novel, info book, bio?
exactly wehat ive been wanting to do. i actually started one 3 years ago but never finished. im glad of glad, i feel like my arguments and knowledge bank are much more polished now
i am actually writing a script about a guy who is the president of his colleges mens rights group, he goes on a date with a girl and they get along great, but she is part of the feminist student union
i think it will. im goin to send it to great gerwig
greta
they dont know who each other are until after
yeah. greta gerwig, directed ladybird
lol yes but in the opposite way. but i DO think, as a filmmaker, it'll intrigue her. im going to post it on blacklist to, i bet it gets attention
lol its a script hosting site warners operates
actor, but im writing scripts now, its easier doing it yourself and im a better writer than most hollywood hacks anyway
just look at the nominees...
see i think the MRM is the next counterculture fad. it's changing and getting younger, it will inevitable become "hip" like SJWism is now
worst case scenario for SJWism is bad, but still very temporary. the fear of a "permament takeover" isnt realistic, grandkids ALWAYS rebels against the traditional norms. the roaring tweets, the 60s, rap, death metal, the victorians vs the stuarts vs the tudorsm fashion etc, EVERYTHING fades away
roaring twentys lol
but i definitely dont think opposing women's suffrage should be part of the MRM
they didnt just shame men into the draft, they lobbied for war
hi @jimmyjohnsandwitch , and welcome!
there are MANY people like you
we are just starting to speak out about it
something i'd recommend to everyone is being as healthy as possibly. id personally vouch for paleo/keto/intermittent fasting, but you can just start by cutting out soda, alcohol, candy, junk, too many grains, etc
*possible. damn i make a lot of grammar/syntax errors when i type without noticing
lets get abother debate going- did you spend more time playing halo or COD on xbox live?
no, we are 't dislike metoo, we dislike false accusations
you really have the wrong idea about the mens rights movement. and w dont call ourselves meninists
dont*
hi @Vhiskey
are you from the subreddit?
to that end we need to have a preparedness plan; what if they outright ban or delete us?
@TyDye for sure, it's a risk and theres no way to avoid it. my thoughts are that eventually, we cant run forever and things will catch up to us. if we're ALL open and what we think, people will realize MRAs are everywhere. i bet lots of people secretly agree with us but are too afraid to speak out
seems like we're growing nicely!
@Lotad it's actually dangerous to lie about false rape accusations like your teacher is, thats going to condition people to automatically assume guilt
its tough but change happens when people like you speak up. it sounds like everyone around you is brainwashed
i think we're still figuring out how the channels will be, right now we're just in the early stages
things will evolve, as they do
its morning for me
omg...
so what happened?
what did he do?
in general
so he had to be the real parent, in other words
did he at least get single parent benefits?
@King Bean i wonder how many secret MRAs are sitting in thesame room as you right now
did he apply?
we are the new counter cultu re. its only a matter of time until the MRM is whats "cool"
music, movies, instagram stars, hashtags, etc. its inevitable
i just wish i could be a little younger for it
or that i had started sooner
i think itll happen quickly, something will go viral, a celeb will mention the red pill movie, or something like that, and boom, it takes off
so whatds going to happen now?
its great how he's awake to whats going on
he has a far reach
idiots rarely achieve that kind of self made success over som many years
btw im not sure about the x in the name
i kinda like a straight forward "mens rights movement" name
its not
maybe you could try printing anonymus fliers and posting them around school. stuff on boys disadvantages in education, etc. just a basic word document, go in early and tape them to the bathroom stalls, vending machines, etc.
but be careful! dont get caught.
maybe around your town. ive plastered hollywood with signs'
i bet you'd have more support than you think
we had a pretty good logo before, i think something simple and basic and easy to draw
something that might pop up as grafitti in bathroom stall and alleyways, in punk rock way
ill show you what we had
it was the blue circles on a white background
simplicity is best. the most effective logo ever is mcdonalds..bright bright and yellow, and 3 year old can draw it in one stroke
red* and yellow
but everyone in the world knows mcdonalds
id love to see the MRM start becoming like you'd see scratched in a bathroom wall, or posters in a teenagers room, like a counter culture thing. make it cool, and slightly dangerous like rock music was
"oh no! my son is listening to that jim morrison/my son is an MRA!"
fastest way to make anything grow with the youth. thats why people like paul elam need to retire somewhere and focus on his checkers game
we shouldnt be presuring people into the MRM, we should make ourselves the coolest party on the block. make them feel like they are being left out, do the reverse...what makes you cool enough to be an MRA?
btw, you are @goodmod are mods there, right?
ok, so we should make this the official discord of the sub
