I see what you mean, and it’s 100% true in a vacuum. It’s the past behavior and pattern
And that'd be a fair argument, except that doing that in the middle of a debate in the debate channel is a weird time to do that.
And purging comments...he was the 2nd or 3rd user in the discord
And it isn't like Hadashi wasn't aware of that kerfuffle you mentioned from the very beginning
And he can bring him back. But he’s toxic and bad for the group
Alright, I guess that's the reason. And in hindsight, sorry for making objections to moderation in the debate channel, this really isn't the place for that
I was just rather shocked
I understand, it’s the history. I got harassed for weeks after getting doxxed. I just know that he would hurt the group
@asparkofpyrokravte normally I wouldn't agree with that ban. But idk what happened before.
But we must be more diligent before banning a person.

<@&516181909554987038> We are going to have to have a talk here. By deleting all his messages without archiving them, there is no way for me to see the truth of this matter and so I cannot ban PM. If any of you saved what he wrote, I will review it. If not, it's looking like I will have to unban him.
I will be laying down some ground rules for mods very soon
We cannot have this 'everything vanishes' approach. This was meant to be a relatively free-speech server.
The only rules were against hate and illegal content.
Now it seems like bans are being handed out behind my back, and I am not pleased.
We are not going to turn into feminism. Our weapons are logic, and facts.
@blueorange22 I would like to make a full apology about the incident relating to MRACentral and the @centralMRA twitter account earlier this year. I have regretted that incident since it first happened, and it is the reason that I avoid twitter in general now. I know that my apology can never make up for the lasting impact my actions had on you, @turbulance4, and @James.
I respect your decision to ban me from the MRACentral discord and change the passwords on the various accounts, however I ask that you do not let past events affect our relationship today in this community.
@Men Are Human agreed. i acted too hastily
@PM_ME_UR_PC_SPECS ok. i knew you'd be back with a new name, and i stand by the things i said. i dont think anyone with a educated view on the MRM can fairly or reasonably compare us to r/askfeminists and i dont think its "subjective" by a reasonable standard. sure everything is subjective, but thats what every regressive ideology uses as an excuse. where do you draw the line? they blatantly lie about the MRM and misrepresent data and facts, and not in a way that is a different perspective, but in a way that is objectively changing numbers or stats. i used to post there all the time when i first got into reddit
Okay, so first off, I just want to make this clear that it is the same account. I just changed the name because I was bored of it.
ok
Now, I respect your belief that nobody with an educated view on the MRM can compare them to feminists. However, I dispute your belief on the basis that your worldview is solidly MRA, whereas mine is much more centered in between MRAs and feminists.
I do concur with you that certain feminist communities (such as r/askfeminists) have been polluted by moderators that power trip and have extremely strong beliefs.
However, I do not see many "blatant lies" about the MRM and its associates
Most claims made about the movement have a basis in reality
well, i certainly cant disagree with that. as to the "blatant lies", they have a very strongly and inaccurate view of the MRM based on generalizations that have no basis in anything we ever say.
Would you perhaps care to provide some examples so that I may evaluate them?
Like when they there is no systemic sexism against men via law
I would not say that that is a claim about MRAs as much as a claim about society. If some people on r/askfeminists do genuinely believe that, then I feel that they need to take the time to better educate themselves (something I think everyone should do regardless)
ok, take this post: "https://old.reddit.com/r/AskFeminists/comments/a96817/what_do_you_think_of_counterfeminist_groups_like/" it asks "what do you think about counter feminist groups like MRA, red pill, etc". the mods tagged it "l;ow effort/antagonistic". lets see some of the replies:
Feminist do exacerbate the problem by creating absolutely sexist laws like vawa and Duluth mkdel
"Given that you posted the same thing on MR, and are now discussing our answers over there, I don’t have much credence in this being a “good faith” post. You are on the thinnest of all possible ice."
"They’re hate groups that try and disguise their hatred by pretending to work towards men’s rights, while instead hurting men as a whole." 28 upvotes
oh really, we are?
"Your question is suspicious because you ask what is thought of counter-feminist groups. Counter feminist groups in general are my enemy because I oppose oppression and support liberation and self-actualization for all, and feminism is one of the most articulate and advanced sources of liberation activism."
we are their enemy because they oppose oppression? so why are we the enemy?
"I have very limited experience with these groups because, like most people here, I believe they are very hateful and I dont want to expose myself to that. "
so they oppose our very existence and dont even want to give us a platform
and thats just me clicking the first result when i search "mens rights movement" in their thread history
Right, so blue. First of all, it is definitely a low effort/antagonistic post. That is one of the most common questions on that sub, and it keeps getting asked.
Also, can you slow down please? I am having a hard time keeping up
