It is with a heavy heart that I hereby formally announce my resignation from Identity Evropa.

While I took the position with only the best of intentions, I will confess that the subsequent wealth and riches led me down a dark path. Prior to becoming Executive Director, I had only seen a few anime series, and remained ambivalent about the genre as a whole. However, after a few weeks in my new position, I found myself entirely unable to stop watching anime. Some days, I would just sit in my truck and watch Dragonwaifu Season 3 on repeat. Eventually, I began spending all of my paychecks on anime figurines and katanas.

Thankfully, a sagacious IE member took note and intervened. And were it not for his guidance, I would have likely overdosed on manga by now. This individual recommended that I attend anime rehab, where I would be able to break the addiction for good. I agreed.

That individual’s name is @Deleted User, and I have nominated him to be my successor. You might be thinking to yourself at this point, “But Patrick! How could a dog run Identity Evropa?! Is he really going to keep those goggles on the whole time?! Bad optics!” So while I understand that you all might have reservations about your new Executive Director, I would remind you that were it not for @Deleted User, I likely wouldn’t be here.

@everyone Last November, IE activists in Southern California spoke at a major university and became a resounding success. 5 activists spoke to approximately 50 attendees from all around the area. Speeches spanned the gambit; from identarian coming-of-age stories to demographic statistics and population trends. Attendees made the event that much better by asking thoughtful and genuine questions.

After the lecture hall was cleaned and our equipment was packed, everyone migrated to local burger joint that had hipster undertones. There old friends mingled and new folks made lasting connections.

This May, IE Southern California is going to replicate last year's success. We're going to have new speakers, new topics, and a new venue! We plan on 80 people attending this time around and you should consider being one them! I cannot tell you too much; only that I will be speaking at the event which will take place in May. All the details due to operational security can't be announced just yet, but you should reach out to @PMT - CA who can help you plan coming out to this event!

There's a rumor circulating that our Discord servers are going to be "searched" due to the Charlottesville lawsuit. This isn't the case.

A few members freaked out over this and left all IE servers without even verifying that this is true. As always, I'm willing to change my mind in light of new evidence, but I'm in contact with our attorney and fully aware of what's happening in our legal battle, and you all have nothing to worry about.

By now, many of you have seen the *Daily Stormer* article regarding Discord. I have a few things to say on the subject, but I want to first remind everyone to remain calm and approach this with a level head.

1. Many of the Discord servers that have been leaked in recent months -- TWP and PF in particular -- have likely had bad opsec. In the case of TWP, **they had an open Discord invite on their website.** IE also doesn't discuss illegal or unethical behavior -- nor do we engage in it -- so leaks from our Discord would be less damning.

2. Anglin is incorrect about the Charlottesville server being secure, assuming he's referring to the same one I'm thinking of. Invites were handed out in a careless manner, and everyone knew the server was compromised but chose to continue using it anyway for some reason. (I had no part in this, for the record, as I did not plan the event.)

3. The fact that the SPLC is working with Discord in some unspecified capacity is cause for concern, although I think people are blowing this out of proportion. The idea that you're going to have your life ruined because you posted anonymously in a Discord server seems really insane to me -- fearmongering at its worst. The TWP server was leaked, and yet there were, to my knowledge, no mass doxings.

4. With that said, migrating to another platform is likely a good decision in the long run. We're looking into alternatives right now. However, keep in mind that **if other groups being using platform X -- yet still employ sloppy opsec -- people could start freaking out about platform X being compromised** and whatnot. At some point, people will have to accept responsibility for poor opsec practices.

5. As previously stated, keep a level head. Discord deleted our original server after Charlottesville, and yet no one was doxed, nothing was leaked, etc.

With regard to the subpoenas issued to Discord:

First, it appears that those Discord users who received notice of the subpoena were only users specifically named in the subpoena. That is, there is no general subpoena to “every account on Discord."

Second, we are in the process of retaining a First Amendment attorney in California (where the subpoena must be resolved) who, in collaboration with Kyle Bristow and in coordination with IE leadership, will file a motion to quash the subpoena on behalf of all the users named in it.

The grounds for the motion lie in the First Amendment’s freedom of assembly and freedom of speech; there is a healthy body of case law designed to protect the identities of members of political groups from public harassment and embarrassment brought on by overzealous plaintiffs on “fishing expeditions” in civil cases.

We think this is a critical step in standing against the political and economic intimidation from the over-powered left that have infected this case since its inception. It is a step separate and apart from our ongoing litigation in Charlottesville and will be filed in a separate court altogether.

**We need to raise $10,000.00 dollars to hire the First Amendment attorney in California. About $3,500.00 has already been raised. We need to raise it within a week.**

I know we ask for money a lot on this issue but, to put it in perspective, the number of lawyers representing the plaintiffs in this case is twenty-one. They have endless resources. We have to be infinitely more resilient and dedicated than they are to stand a fighting chance. Moreover, should we fail in this endeavor, it may lead to further subpoenas that affect more of us.

As Identitarians, we unite around our shared identity. This means that, internally, there is bound to be a fair amount of disagreement on social, religious, and economic issues. As a result, what is a white-pill for one person might not necessarily be so for another.

We've had issues with the <#359019358204198926> channel since its inception -- people discussing the posts in particular. Recently, people have posted whitepills that reflect their personal value systems, not Identitarianism. That's okay -- you're certainly entitled to your opinions. However, to avoid having to, on a daily basis, moderate the whitepills channel more than should be necessary, we're going to only allow moderators to post whitepills for the time being.

If you have a whitepill you're really dying to share with everyone, you can DM a moderator and they will post it, assuming it's appropriate.

Exactly one year ago, we held a highly successful event: Charlottesville 1.

A year later, **the Alt-Right has imploded**; by now this is hard to deny. And while my apprehensions concerning elements of the broader movement continue to find justification, I take no pleasure in being proven correct. On the contrary, I truly wish that things had turned out differently.

In late 2015, 2016, and most of 2017, there was an electrifying, undeniable feeling that we, the Alt-Right, were going to change the world. There were setbacks, sure, but we felt that we were gaining momentum. We felt that things were approaching a crescendo, which would lead to some sort of major breakthrough.

However, in the months since Charlottesville -- particularly since MSU -- that momentum has been lost. People are dropping out. Organizations are imploding. There will be more of this in the future.

IE, though, has fared quite well as an organization. **Nevertheless, IE was part of the Alt-Right, so its implosion has affected us as well**. People are more hesitant to join organizations due to doxing concerns. Many others have simply lost interest in the cause.

All of this is unfortunate, but it’s not an excuse to give up – if anything, it’s an indication that we need to work harder, smarter, and faster. Even if Trump achieves his agenda, do you think we’ll be saved? Progressivism/globalism will still be the hegemonic ideology in the media, academia, the deep state, etc. Trump might change immigration laws, but the Cathedral will remain. And in a few decades, right-wing politics in America will be an electoral impossibility due to demographics. Eventually, the Left will regain control, and the gloves will come off. As such, we need to do everything that we can to either prevent this from happening, or build sufficient social capital to allow us to withstand Leftist oppression when it arrives.

We mustn’t forget that the we’re ultimately fighting for our very survival. In the words of a modern visionary, “Do not forget that these people want you broke, dead, your kids raped and brainwashed, and they think it's funny.”

So my question to you is this: **What are you going to do about it?**

As you going to make a point to attend every meetup in your area, or are you going to spend your free time playing video games?

Are you going to deliver activism on a regular basis, or are you going to spend your free time partying with normies?

Are you going to sacrifice for our people, or are you going to choose the path of comfort, ease, and complacency?

I know many of you are doing quite a bit for the cause, but **we could all be doing more** – myself included. I’m not of the opinion that we “deserve” homelands, autonomy, or even survival. These are things we purchase through sacrifice and hardship.

**And to be perfectly honest, when I look at the state of our race – both within the movement and without – I do not see a people willing to survive. This needs to change – now.** I’m not advocating that we become bleak and humorless – nor am I expecting you to stop socializing with your normie friends altogether – but we need to start taking things more seriously.

Every day, we’re given a choice between extinction and survival. When you choose to spend your time frivolously, you are choosing extinction. But when you choose work toward the cause, you choose survival. You might not see simple things like flyering, demonstrations, attending meetups, etc. as being significant in the big picture, but they absolutely are. For those who cannot offer their time, we encourage you to become a Patron and support the organization financially.

As such, I’m calling on everyone in here who hasn’t fully committed to the cause to do so. This matters, and we’re only going to get one shot at this. Be the guy who’s at every meetup, creating a better sense of community that gives people a reason not only to join, but also to stay. Do activism on a regular basis – there are many forms that don’t involve showing your face, e.g. park cleanups, charity stuff, etc. Plan local toastmasters events. Work with your coordinator. Become worthy.

**We can absolutely win, but only if we have the will.** So let’s step things up, and do everything we can to regain control of our destiny.

@everyone If you use PGP encryption, this applies to you, but there is a more important lesson to be learned here. For years, there has been a perception of PGP as a supreme sort of uncrackable algorithm, the ultimate protection against the ever-present threat of "them." The moral of this story is that everything has its flaws. No algorithm is perfectly secure. If you are worried about security, face to face talking is the only thing that can't be intercepted.

Some of you may recall that the plaintiffs in the federal civil case pending in the United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia issued subpoenas to Discord for account information relating to no less than forty-eight Discord users. Some of these users are members of Identity Evropa. We are pleased to announce that we have retained an attorney in the State of California - where Discord’s principal offices are located – who focuses his practice in First Amendment matters. On May 16, 2018, with the support of Kyle Bristow, Identity Evropa's Board, and several generous donations by some of you, our attorney filed a motion to quash this subpoena. If successful, the motion will kill the subpoena outright on behalf of ALL forty-eight Discord users. If unsuccessful, the motion will nevertheless assist in setting boundaries on the gross overreach being attempted by the plaintiffs.

The motion relies upon an extensive body of federal First Amendment case law that precludes the use of subpoenas in civil cases to go on “fishing expeditions,” or to intimidate and expose political dissidents such as ourselves. Put another way, the First Amendment’s freedoms of speech and association will not allow the plaintiffs to use “lawfare” to scare us out of exercising our political rights.

Whether successful or not, we believe this motion to represent the first of our many serious counterpunches in this case. More to the point, we want you to know that Identity Evropa will NOT EVER stand by and allow its members to be harassed and intimidated by overpowered, politically driven, and endlessly funded leftist attorneys. To all who donated to this cause, thank you. Remember that this legal battle is still ongoing and will likely be ongoing for the foreseeable future. We will always need donations until it is over.
