I ask this question hypothetically and out of curiosity. The Latino world is very stratified, at times to almost a caste degree, based on percentage of Spanish ancestry. There are people we might identify as latino who are +90% european ancestry and who are certainly considered white in their community. There are bastions of staunch fascist and national socialist support in that world and chauvinistic attitudes toward their conquerer heritage. According to leadership and the interview team, could such people be considered to be White, Westerners, or Americans?

I suppose I was wondering because one such man was influential in my learning about the 3rd position. He specifically wouldn't be eligible for membership for being a member of the military, not that he ever expressed interest to my knowledge, but I guarantee he would identify himself as White and from Spanish conquerer heritage in the American new world.
What would we do if we had someone like that apply?

I'm of course brand new to this as well but the script says minimum 75% European lineage, which I would gather includes Iberians. However it also states that a lack of assimilation/identification with any culture but American is disqualifying

In such a case I would say that it depends on whether they have assimilated to our culture or not. They would meet the 75% requirement. Also depends on whether they were born here or not. We wouldnt accept 1st generation immigrants from other parts of the anglo sphere unless they had gone to a great effort to adopt American culture. Even then I would say how long they have been here would also affect their acceptance.

I would add that the majority of Castizos (~75% White Latinos) are still visibly not-us and retain a Latin, non-American identity which places their ethnically mixed cultural milieu above the European race, even if they are mostly European. Very questionable imo
