Most didn't, only higher ups and those living in Belgium
English wasn't very commonly spoken and only somewhat understood
The leaders speak fluently however
Is that a prerequisite for leadership?
odd i thought almost all europeans knew english. especially younger ones and those in western europe
This is good. I think Germans are better with English, but either way, it would be great to have this language exchange program. We could have a discord server called “LBGTQ-Muslim Language Exchange” or something
I was part of a Rhodesian discord and before it was deleted they had several documents gathered. These were mostly do it yourself stuff found on chans but I'll leave them here for any who haven't seen these or are interested. Sorry in advance for the way these are organized, I had a hour to copy the links from discord and paste to my notepad before all was gone.
I'll do you one better. Something I picked up for my personal collection
Whomever want to learn French, I lived in Montreal when I was a kid for a while and speak it pretty well, so you could practice with me if you want
Im in to do a german hour on discord once a month or so. I know a few guys speak it and others are learning.
Im fluent.
The question is then if people want to learn French or German. @Reinhard Wolff Can you ping someone from GI and get a general sense of which language would be better for our guys to use? I'd imagine the French struggle more with English than the Germans do. If you see above, I am wondering if we can get a language exchange going with GI and IE
@this_that5553 @Kingfish @Deleted User @RevStench @givemetheafd New channel <#390542955079008257>
Sweet deal bro @ThisIsChris thanks
@RevStench yw, yeah this suggestion has come up before too so I figured it's time
Let's get a "buy it for life" channel! I have make life easy tools I NEED to share 😂
@RevStench like Carpentry tools?
Like stuff in general. Like the buy it for life on reddit. @ThisIsChris
Like I need a solid beard trimmer, or a nice blanket for camping in the winter, or a recommendation for a nice pen.
Something like that.
@RevStench beard trimmer? But we already have a gardening channel!
Yeah I am out now but will set something up when I get back
For buy it for life
Haha ass, it was just an example😂
The Wirecutter website has been really solid for me for buying even the smallest things (nail clippers). It might be pozzed now since getting bought out by The New York Times, but still handy.
@RevStench @Argument of Perigee OK it's up, check out <#390735997639589891>
@ThisIsChris when will we have an onion emote?
<:ScreenShot20171214at1:390755300115873792> @Deleted User thoughts?
perfect
@Deleted User good idea, thanks
Product: "What do you MEME!" This product on Amazon must have made a million just based on the review count. Only maybe 5% of purchasers leave a review. Just an FYI for those wanting to work from home.
OMG... and the other one on Amazon: "Cards Against Humanity" 37000 reviews. Anyway, something to think about for those wanting to work from home. Riding the way of internet/meme culture can be a way to earn income.
I guess this really can't go under electrical, it's more of general tool use. This instruction will teach you how to use a torque wrench, one of the most essential tools for any task involving nuts and bolts.
