There was a really cool tabletop RPG called "REIGN." It had a really awesome mechanics system and a subsystem for factional / group actions.
But the setting, while fantastic, now rubs me the wrong way. It is Yakub-tier, where all of the civilized cultures are shades of Black, Brown, Yellow and Red. But the Swindling Pirates are White, the Barbarians from the shadowlands, White, the other occult people from a different shadowland: also white.
According to the game rules, riding a horse makes men sterile. That and magic apparently made every soceity at least feminist, if not outright matriarchal (only women could be Calvary).
The "Planet" was actually in the shape of two relclining giants (one male one female), and "gravity) was in the direction of the nearest of the giants' presumed "bones." The sun and moon were in a static location, so yes, some lands had no light and only got reflected light from water.

he made three variant settings. One basically Harry Potter, one basically Narnia, one is a sci-fi where all the ayy lmaos are psychic but physically weak. Humans are immune to psionics, so we become the mercenaries of the galaxy. Pretty fun.

On a completely random note - Is anyone here good with computers? I seem to have somehow reset all of my keyboard commands and now things like "ctrl+alt+delete" and even alt tab do not work.

@Selma I seem to remember you saying you were saving for nursing school a while back. Nursing school can be tough and the work is brutal. Have you heard of Dental Hygenist? Cheaper and shorter school. Probably similar pay. Shorter hours and better for raising a family.
