If the goal is to ensure that people know who’s on what side, that’s already known.
even though heimbach is not an example that people should strive for, his comments regarding his recent expulsion from NSM were spot on and can be applied to the greater number of people who adhere to NS, wignats, those who unironically call other people "optics cucks", etc
Totally just realized that article in media about IE was about my postering. Literally 3 stickers and two posters and it got an article.
Generally I would say there is little to be gained, however I don't think an occasional comment or thread once in a blue moon is really too detrimental. The difference in tone and substance is pretty marked. One subtweet vs a 35 tweets about Patrick/IE in a week (Egghead McLaren) makes us look like the measured and responsible party (we are).
A certain amount of publicly confirming we are not associated with these morons is definitely a good thing.
We split with them quite awhile ago and made that public and transparent. Continuing to talk about it publicly isn’t necessary and gains us nothing as we’ve accomplished the stated goals.
Not everybody might know that. One of the biggest attacks on us is that we're really the exact same as all the other extremist type of groups, and that's why the "don't punch right" rule. It helps to be willing to call them out (occasionally, not constantly) to put our money where our mouth is, so to speak, and show we're not with them.
@Sam Southern - TN If twitter beef was something we (patrick) engaged in frequently, I would agree. But it's not. This is perhaps his second comment towards the trash side of the movement since taking over.
@Sam Anderson When Gonzaga had a protest, the stated reason was 3 stickers
How active are community colleges in the morning? I usually poster 4-6 PM. Will I run into a lot of people if I go right now?
Agree to disagree that continuing to talk about them is worth his time. Unless one sees Patrick’s earlier statements as not conclusive on our stance, then any further mention is unnecessary and doesn’t gain us anything. I see them as conclusive and sufficient - if asked by media/RW people/whoever, “refer to our statement on X date about that part of dissident American politics”
Why are they clinging onto the James Field thing?
It's better to move forward. Even if he's found innocent; Peoples opinion of that whole shitshow won't change.
The media already won on that one.
Pretty sure we’re not supposed to poster at night
@Sam Southern - TN Are we not? Then I apologize for suggesting it.
It's possible I'm not aware of every single flyering protocol
Someone last night was asking about it, and I believe it was mentioned that we don’t poster at night. Maybe it was we don’t take pictures at night, I’d have to review what was said last night.
Yeah supposed to be daytime only.
@sigruna14 I can only do my own campus at those times since I don't have a car. And I'm doing indoor postering.
Fridays are typically less busy for community colleges.
Early ass morning is good for jimmy rusting effect. Not Twitter.
If you flyer at night then just dont even bother with pics.
If I leave soon I'll probably be there at like 8 AM
Maybe later
Valaska is doin' more in my town than I am <_< Need to remedy that after Henry is born
We can poster at night. The issue is we just won’t use photos generally not taken in daylight.
There are exceptions to that, like candlelight memorials etc
Everybody does their part. Family people do their bit, bachelors do theirs.
Twitter Wignats do theirs.
I need more sleep
Just so you guys know. There is no activism that we allow to take place at night. All activism must be done during daylight hours. Flyers included.
We should be having some new policies released soon. They will be a nice brush up. The activism team is working hard on that and the 2019 calendar. Of course it’s going to be next level.
I've been looking at real estate for hours
@missliterallywho got me hooked on looking for cheap houses
I need recommendations for people to follow on Twitter.
Find out who your favorite accounts are following, honestly.
Thinking on above
Twitter thread and history of white political culture...
A lot of them are just crabs in a pot, so to speak. Not content to find their own way out of a pot, work together or observe, they pull every other crab down.
Something tells me this guys already following Elon Musk
And also sadly there is an element of feminine/juvenile jealousy at the top cat in the school (IE)
I do still think the top cat should ignore them
