Our bodies primarily rely on glucose for bodily function. Powering organs, etc

Our bodies digest sugars carbs and fats into glucose.

Our bodies will most rapidly digest the most convenient source first. Sugars and carbs.

If deprived of sugars and carbs... or bodies will digest fats into glucose.

Your body primarily burning fat for fuel is super efficient for lowering body fat percentage.
