2018-03-15 02:25:54 UTC

or advertise it if you have one

2018-03-15 02:39:16 UTC

Tim, you really need to go for a pre-stream image, and some backing music when you're going into a live stream. It can let you avoid the whole stream check thing, and give you a chance to push your audience before you start.

2018-03-15 02:39:51 UTC

Also more guitar streams! ๐Ÿ˜„

2018-03-15 02:44:06 UTC

I actually got the video to come up by clicking on your Twitter link. Still not working. The most recent livestream I'm seeing on your YouTube home page is from a month ago. ๐Ÿคท

2018-03-15 02:45:31 UTC

@RyeNorth Oh, no! Did I miss a guitar session?

2018-03-15 02:50:31 UTC

fire it up with some Yellow - Oh Yeah

2018-03-15 03:23:29 UTC

Yay, it's finally working! Had to click "Play All" option in the livestream section.

2018-03-15 03:23:49 UTC

@RyeNorth I agree, though. More guitar. Also, skateboarding. ๐Ÿ˜

2018-03-15 03:30:23 UTC

One of his early livestreams, he finished talking about what he wanted to talk about

2018-03-15 03:30:36 UTC

and played guitar afterwards.

2018-03-15 05:33:47 UTC

I've seen it - love that part of the stream. Omg, it's late. Here's hoping I don't dream about clowns throwing sausages at bananas tonight!

2018-03-15 19:26:56 UTC

tim shall appear regularly, and all will be right in the jungle

2018-03-17 20:55:02 UTC

Definitely should too, it is defamatory no matter how you slice it

2018-03-19 11:50:18 UTC

It continues to drive me up the fucking wall when people claim Norway and Sweden are socialist countries.

2018-03-19 11:57:07 UTC

do they not know what Socialism looks like

2018-03-19 11:58:34 UTC

because it looks like China

2018-03-19 11:58:52 UTC

or Cuba

2018-03-19 11:59:03 UTC

of Vietnam

2018-03-19 12:00:08 UTC

ya know, those bastions of progressiveness that everyone's trying so desperately to immigrate to

2018-03-19 12:32:49 UTC

Iโ€˜ve seen people claim that germany is a socialist country...

2018-03-19 12:43:18 UTC

I've seen people make false statements too

2018-03-19 12:45:14 UTC

Well it depends on what criteria you go with,

afaik, Norway has basically socialised their massive oil reserve, meaning that the money gained from it is used to fund their schools, pensions etc

But neither sweden nor norway has had workers seize the means of production, or banned free market

2018-03-19 12:46:13 UTC

and if i recall correctly, until like 1980, sweden did have massive socialist systems that ruined their economy having them switch back

2018-03-19 12:55:20 UTC

most of the Nordic countries have a freer market so that the economy actually has the room to afford their social nets. That doesn't mean they don't push things too far from time to time and shoot them selves in the foot, but its certainly not socialism. But they are different than the rest of the EU in that regard i think.

2018-03-19 13:01:04 UTC

The 'nordic model' is at best classified as a social democracy, but it's defnitely capitalist as fuck.

2018-03-19 13:01:39 UTC

The Norse have a so called 'oil fund' which is privately run, but majority owned by the government IIRC.

2018-03-19 13:12:17 UTC

socialism=/=communism

2018-03-19 13:16:05 UTC

depends on which version of communism and socialism you are talking about

2018-03-19 13:24:32 UTC

socialism is communism basically

2018-03-19 13:24:35 UTC

actually no, they are different words that mean different things. socialism does tend to encapsulate communism, basicly meaning communism is a form of socialism, while socialism is a form of economic system where the means of production are controled socialy or democraticly. communism is another beast entirely which takes the idea of socialism, creates a utopia out of the form of socialism which the private sector never even exists, and also lumps other ideas in with it such as abolishment of money and the state. its more accurate to call communist countrys "working towards communism" countrys than accutally presently being "communist" because they never actually represent the goal of the system they put into place. socialism on the other hand has been achieved, both veneseula, nazi germany, and the nordic states are BY SOCIALIST DEFINITIONS actually socialisms now due to the extent of democratic or social control of the means of production

2018-03-19 13:25:27 UTC

anything other than anarcho capitalism is communism and is bad

2018-03-19 13:25:40 UTC

enjoy your ban

2018-03-19 13:25:49 UTC

:dab:

2018-03-19 13:25:51 UTC

thats not how economics works

2018-03-19 13:29:55 UTC

Except Nordic counties have a higher economic freedom than the us. So how does one have a more socialist society than the US yet have less red tape on the private sector?

2018-03-19 13:30:24 UTC

socialism isint regulation, its a different form of ownership

2018-03-19 13:31:49 UTC

So all companies are government owned in Nordic counties?

2018-03-19 13:32:05 UTC

socialism is the government enforcing communism

2018-03-19 13:32:33 UTC

socialism is a spectrom in the truist since of the term

2018-03-19 13:33:26 UTC

its application maybe

socialism is just the ideal of the state replacing the private sector to provide the needs of the people

2018-03-19 13:33:46 UTC

in a loose sense

2018-03-19 13:35:27 UTC

socialism isint an ideal of state

2018-03-19 13:36:15 UTC

its the opposite of an ideal of state, its a system, COMMUNISM is an ideal of the state

2018-03-19 13:36:52 UTC

i never said ideal of state

I said its the ideal of: "the state replacing the private sector to provide the needs of the people"

2018-03-19 13:37:19 UTC

these words get thrown around so much that they don't have meaning any more

2018-03-19 13:38:33 UTC

its not replacing the private sector to provide the needs of the people, its some degree of blending of the private sector and the public sector and the degree of blending is subjective

2018-03-19 13:39:21 UTC

when words are thrown around by retarded activists ON BOTH SIDES just to make their ideas or counter ideas seem more attractive to you simply get a dictonary

2018-03-19 13:40:04 UTC

the principles im discribing here can be found in the first paragraph on a wikipedia article

2018-03-19 13:40:35 UTC

and i said CAN not "use this source only"

2018-03-19 13:41:01 UTC

it is replacing

A government company has no use if its private sector version is cheaper
If its more expensive to run it in private sector, you replace it with government

the only difference in the "spectrum" is on what you apply it on

And since government tends to be inneffective, its generally cheaper to run private industry

2018-03-19 13:41:07 UTC

inb4 "you said wikipedia so i dont have to think anymore"

2018-03-19 13:41:43 UTC

governments arnt ineffective, look at nazi germany ๐Ÿ˜›

2018-03-19 13:41:55 UTC

did they succeed in killing ALL jews? ๐Ÿ˜›

2018-03-19 13:42:48 UTC

depends on what you mean by ineffective

2018-03-19 13:43:00 UTC

killing jews was an after thought for germany, theres a reason they did most of it all within the last 3 years of the war while the country itself lasted about 18 years before the end of the war

2018-03-19 13:43:18 UTC

ineffective as in: Costs more money to run, and doesn't innovate as much

2018-03-19 13:44:04 UTC
2018-03-19 13:44:17 UTC

you mean the one so heavy it got stuck in the mud?

2018-03-19 13:44:21 UTC

if thats not innovation i dont know waht is

2018-03-19 13:45:01 UTC

i wouldn't call failed products "innovation"

2018-03-19 13:45:16 UTC

innovation doesn't include failed products

thats experimentation

2018-03-19 13:45:18 UTC

well it wasent failed as much as "didint get made"

2018-03-19 13:45:49 UTC

right, because the King Tiger had its own problems because once you get to a certain size of tank, its weight becomes its worst enemy

2018-03-19 13:46:18 UTC

Innovation can be defined simply as a "new idea, device or method"

2018-03-19 13:46:21 UTC

that said, the russians have always been pretty innovative. and get things done with half the tech level

2018-03-19 13:47:15 UTC

yes, thats the wikipedia 'buzzword' version of it

Just because you can slap a buzzword on something doesn't matter

2018-03-19 13:47:51 UTC

I've just innovated the toilet! lets have it catapult the poop out a window
