In his memo, he clearly never said that: https://drive.google.com/viewerng/viewer?url=https://assets.documentcloud.org/documents/3914586/Googles-Ideological-Echo-Chamber.pdf
Same... I still use Google Docs. Haven't found a good alternative for it (yeah, there is Office online, but Google's is better IMHO). Stopped using Facebook and Messenger last year. I don't post to Twitter, I only read sometimes. Can't dump Whatsapp yet, just too many people use that.
Haven't actually deleted Facebook yet, because I need still need it to logon to some sites. ๐

"Why do we keep gendering our AI assistants?" http://www.invisionapp.com/blog/ai-assistant-gender/ FFS.
What are people going to call sex bots? (If that is ever going to catch on.)
It's quite common to refer to motorcycles as a "she". Is this now too "problematic"? Even a female friend of mine calls her bike "she" at name it/her Xena.
Hollywood is going to have to redo a lot of the movies they made, since they refer to AI/robots with male and female pronouns all the time.
'They' are always looking to find problems where people really do not have an issue.
Yes... And I bet they did some kind of xyz studies course.

"Although a referendum will be held, the government has indicated it plans for the law to nevertheless to go into effect on 1 May 2018."
Yeah, they already know the majority of people are against this. They know the people will vote "incorrectly".
This law will allow people's devices to be hacked, but also those of friends, relatives, family etc.
They will also be allowed to tap ALL internet traffic, request information from any company or governmental databases and exchange this info with other secret services.

Snopes seems to suggest that this "evil" story comes from the Pluralist.com on 15th of August.
https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/millenial-couple-isis-tajikistan/
However, they fail to mention that The New York Times wrote a similar quote about evil on the 7th of August: https://www.nytimes.com/2018/08/07/world/asia/islamic-state-tajikistan-bike-attack.html
The author of the NYT article also (co)authored this article: https://www.nytimes.com/2018/07/30/world/asia/tajikistan-attack-cylists.html

Google's executive clearly don't mind censorship.
Today China. Tomorrow... censorship for the rest of us? Oh eh,...

They had a head of free expression... until 2014.
Yes, but clearly they need someone with that title.
Well, it seems that Google executives themselves are already pushing diversity themselves.
