Was the Washington hike not in the video?
Rendezvous will be released to all attendees soon
@all This week's Wednesday meeting (at 8pm) is vital as we will discuss some logistics for our upcoming event. Your attendance is required if you haven't already contacted me with an approved excuse.
Also, if anyone has standard 50-star flags (5 feet by 3 feet) that they would like to donate to the org, please DM me. I'm contributing the 3 that I bought before I internalized what that flag now represents.
Granted our numbers were cut in half last minute. Compared to the other hikes, ours was poor in regards to film.
I think this is why I get so heated when we spend 50% of our activism trying to pose for footage that'll never get used. We should spend like 10 minutes on photo-ops MAX.
If it isn’t banners, posters, well and properly documented hikes, or sparring footage we know for a fact will look good then it’s probably not worth the effort of filming things over and over again.
I agree with Bill.
There was definitely more than just 5 to 10 secs of footage lol
For sure. It’s a shame that nothing got used.
It was a fantastic hike that really pressed everyone who attended. It seems almost petty, but it’s unfortunate that these achievements won’t see the light of day.
Maybe the real hikes were the achievements we made along the way
^^^^
The problem isn't that our footage wasn't used- that is to be expected. The problem is that we spend WAY too much time filming our actions instead of just performing them.
Tbh I consider that accomplishment to be one of the biggest I've done thus far in my life. I'm proud of what we all did that day. I agree with you guys on this from both angles. We maybe do film to much to justify it all the time but also it is unfortunate that with all that footage more of it wasn't used because there was definatley at the very least amazing shots of the scenery that I witnessed Peter capture. But that's the decision that was made so on we go lol
Any questions about footage can be directed to Mason. He has good reasons for the decisions he makes and the content he has access to.
Define "borrow" lol. There's a very high chance you won't get it back.
We're going to end up with a huge pile of flags at the end and it's my mind to make sure everyone has the flags they need. I'm donating 40 new flags to anyone and everyone.
@Joe MA Yes please bring your Betsy
@Bill MA I don't agree that we spend WAY too much time filming our actions. The filming must happen, and it must be good. To put half our effort into filming guarantees its failure and defeats the purpose of doing it at all. Since we must film, we must also make it good and worth our time, which takes time. Not filming is giving up the opportunity for our actions to have a second impact on the People on social media. Besides if we do an action we'll make sure we get credit for it by archiving ourselves if we do it well enough. If we film less we are guaranteed to not get recognition. So we'll just have to get a 2nd cameraman for any future hike of that magnitude and get better shots.
Have a dedicated camera guy who has that as his priority all of the time, so that everyone else can have the action itself as their priority, all of the time.
That is our guy
He definitely got plenty of footage that day too
Roger. Doing that now
@Joe MA am I finally gonna get to see you in action at an event this time? I'm shook
We have a bad habit though of holding up the entire operation to just "get that ONE perfect shot" when, as I've mentioned in the past, it would be better if we just had our cameraman taking photos as we're all moving along and maybe take 3 posed photos.
Anyways it sounds like our old friend Sam MA is interesting in reapplying. I'll contact the proper people as soon as he fills out and application
Negative on that one, Bill. He should focus on his other ventures for the time being.
We got that covered already, so no big deal.
@Joe MA Check DMs
@Jim MA Our banner must have lasted till the morning. Congrats bros
No bad terms, just that we should be more sparing with who comes and goes in the organization.
Well right now Sam is my landlord and he's in frequent communications with half of the network. I made it crystal clear the new increased requirements of membership in NW7. If he meets and understands those expectations, should he not be allowed to reapply?
I don't know why we'd want to be a church with no salvation
That's not the case. It's not as big a deal as that sounds, it's really just about what Thomas said, frequency of entering and leaving. We don't want there to be this fluid in-out door to the Org. We'd like Sam to spend more time on him for now.
Well I would like something less vague to tell him than that. Sam was a member of the org for years.
We let fucking FRANCIS rejoin but not Sam?
Watch your language. Completely uncalled for
Stickered University of New Hampshire, Durham, NH (2/3)
I apologize for the language but as I said, I would like there to be a more stringent set of rules for reapplying such as "you have to wait a year first" etc. Our two main reapplies right now are @Phillip MA and @Jim MA both of which turned out very well and both of whom I vouched for. I wouldn't think there would be such a negative view of it.
I see it as rather virtuous for a man to realize the error of his ways leaving PF and coming back begging for a second chance now that he knows what he's missing
Phillip and Jim had a large span of time between their past and present membership. Not even close to Sam's case, so your comparison is wrong. We have no obligation to let anyone in. Membership here is elite and not for anyone, only the best. We don't have to give anyone who rightfully lost their membership, which Sam did lose his membership by his own slacktivist behavior, any objectives or promises. The decision to readmit someone is not your choice, and especially not the choice of a non-member. Sam will be allowed readmittance, when and if leadership approves of it, same standard for every potential member.
@Bill MA If you have issues with Francis please inform me of what those are in specificity and I can see if his membership requires reevaluation. Otherwise, stick to the extant statements, please.

Yes @Thomas no need to worry about Francis. He was let back in after being away for a long period of time for a second chance, then repeatedly flaked on his compatriots right off the bat of his membership. Time spent away, growing and maturing, combined with a promising interview and vetting, earned him a second chance. He then blew it by blowing us off on 3 separate occasions without a word of why and was likewise removed. The same standard that applies to everyone was applied to Francis, no special treatment, no arbitrary rules.
@Josh NH @Victor MA @Mike RI Love to see it boys! Keep it up right to the end. @all Better see all your bright shining faces (voices) on tonight's Mumble. 8 PM EST

My action report was stickering Hopedale with Jim and attending our drilling over the weekend. I've also spent the last 2 weeks training pretty intensely for our upcoming event. Definitely brought my lifts up a few lbs.
My action report for next week is gonna be 2/2
Gotcha, Bill. Good work. I'll DM you any extra info you need regarding this weekend.

@all Quick reminder: tonight and for the duration of our travels, we will be dressed normally. Do not wear any significant amounts of the PF dress code. A few people with tan pants are acceptable, but do not show up in dress code. Go over the gear list again before you leave to ensure you haven't forgotten anything.
@all
For security reasons, when we travel over this weekend, please do not post everyone @ in activism or "with etc."
It'll give any potential (not likely) bad actors peeping activism an idea that something is happening and they'll coordinate locations.
If you sticker on the way, either save it for after the trip, or just post it yourself.
Do not post ANY activism until you're on your way home.
@all attendees DM @Tyler CT and myself when you arrive
Good luck to everyone this weekend godspeed!
Great work kings the demo is making waves!
God bless you men. What a march!
Catching up watching some of the streams gotta say wonderful job gentlemen I wish I was there to join yall. But I gave pf a shoutout on white rabbit radio tonight if that's any consolation
Amazing job everyone who was at the event. I've never seen anything like that in my life and I couldn't have asked for better leadership, a better shield team or a better group in general. We will be victorious. God bless America :betsy:
@all please let me know when you are all home safe I wish you all well. I know we had some troubles getting home and if anyone needs anything I can provide tell me and I will happily oblige.
Good work this weekend boys
