from that pic your ratio looks good bruh, *my* hip structure is too wide
At least wider hip structure is good for strength
yeah I've always suspected it would give more stability if anything?
Stability and larger lever means more force
Narrow hips are good for running but bigger hips are good for power like lifting/football
Hips are the single most important thing in BJJ and I think grappling in general
Hip position is also important in Wresting too, particularly if you’re on the top position.
I can attest
The abs need just as much work as the clutter in the garage

Strong build. What’s your height?
5'9, definitely manlet territory lol
Manlet nationalism!
I would argue that that is outside of manlet territory, @Suomi Stronk
It's on the edge but yeah
5'9 is king of manlets territory
>implying the shorter you are the lower the power level in manlet nationalism
Sad!
But together, manlets, strong
You're just an ape

Let's fight his ankles, boys
are those ankle biters at it again?
Yeah but our centre of gravity is way lower, have fun grappling lanklets

@Nick-NJ Pretty impressive man. Gotta say though, from a personal standpoint I like to see a lower sinking of the hips on the descent and using more of your glutes/quads/hammies to bring the weight up instead of my lower lumbar. But I also have a fucked up back, so take my critique with a grain of salt.
Rpe 10 sets won't look pretty. I did this after 4 sets of squats and 3 sets ascending deadlifts, so fatigue was definitely there. But I've always found that my deadlift was a lot stronger when I kept my hips high and loaded my glutes and back with the weight.
A lot of it has to do with proportions. An individual with long femurs and a short torso is going to have a more verticle back while an individual with short femurs and a long torso is going to benefit from being more upright.
Just gotta find what works for you.
