school
and I went home and played Pokemon Gold.
I remember the day after but not the day itself, as I was 6 and my memory was spotty.
Y'all youngins... <:boomer:394308007217070080>
I was turning 6 in 3 months
"What's a muslim?"
@Nemets I can't believe you'd say that on here, dude. Think about how that would look in a news article.
Alrighty I’m gonna hop in general
@Phillip Wiglesworth - FL What is that tweet in reference to?
My immensely religious aunt told me it happened because “they thought we read the Bible wrong”
Haha I was in 9th grade and everyone was running around saying we were gonna go to war with “towelheads” which I thought was pretty funny.
@Virgil Uhhh...Jim Acosta getting banned from the WH.
My mom told me to look out for "muslim people who look suspicious" and I've been paranoid in public places since.
I don't remember 9/11
@ophiuchus well if you're trying to explain religious warfare to a 6 year old and you believe the mainstream narrative then that's not a bad explanation
I don’t think I knew what a Muslim was
Better times.
Yeah me neither and I was... 14 I think
yes
Ugh, I was...older than that.
I felt bad for my Sri Lankan friend because he wasn't at all Muslim and people would call him out in public all the time.
@Asatru Artist - MD yeah when 9/11 happened you were 40 right?

Wasn't yer lady pregnant with her 7th when 9/11 happened?
I was 3
👶
My point in saying “I don’t remember 9/11” was just “I can’t reminisce about better times as I was born in and molded by the clownworld”
9/11 I was Freshman in high school. All classes were cancelled except typing. Typing teacher didn't care.
I can't even imagine what you younger people think of this jacked up world we all find ourselves in now.
@V.Balboa - PA my ass has been in that seat haha. Drive safe bro
I can't imagine what you slightly older people think.
Life has changed so much.
i think i was in gym class when it happened, everyone freaked out later that day to get gas it took us like 2 hours at the gas station just to fill a few cans
I had the 80s in Utah and the 90s in the whitest part of Maryland to enjoy.
@Wood-Ape - OK/MN were the same age. I thought I was old for this server.
