I'm curious as to what kind of Polish Americans people are meeting out there? I hear people complain about Poles and Polish immigrants but I don't get why, I've lived in some very heavily Polish places before and never had an issue.

The only Polish American I met was...not white.

@Nerv - VA That makes sense, but to be fair most Slavic countries consume copious amounts of alcohol, that's not exclusively a Polish thing.

@Virgil apparently in Chicago all the DUI classes have stuff written in polish and English.

As long as they identify as white.

Main problem with mixes is when they have a fallback non-white identity to retreat to.

@Nerv - VA Didn't know that, I'm mostly familiar with Poles in New York and Ohio and they are pretty much just like any other White ethnic group.

I don’t know I just heard this from a polish guy who lived in Chicago. So I took his word for it. I don’t think he was much of a drinker himself though.

Poles are pretty reliably right wing and racially aware too. Coming from someone who’s half Polish ancestry though, so maybe I’m just biased.
