personaly on the young earth vs old earth stuff, idk where i stand right now, all i know is that the earth WAS created and whether the account in Genesis is literal or not, it at least tells me that God had an intimate and hands on role in creating the earth and me and all of you 🙂

I grew up in a very conservative bretheren background so thats probably why i never heard of this but it is cool (in a not cool kinda way if you know what i mean)

the church i grew up in didnt seem to believe much in spirits and the like, my family was called mystics in response to us beleiving the Holy Spirit did stuff lol

I think that the hope in the Gospel is transcendent of circumstances because it looks towards eternity rather than better life on earth
