He is insane as his following.
those are real clips of his congregation... filled with the holy spirit aka, acting crazy and saying gibberish
interestingly enough Ken inherited his church from a different prosparity con artist as the assistant pastor.
He is like... the church version of Nancy Peloski
So forgive me if I say that Mormanism is founded on non biblical principles and just a single mans words. Just like Ken.
Like watch him speaking in tongues. Its hilarious watching someone pretend to speak in other tongues while speaking gibberish. Speaking in tongues happened, but in the bible when they spoke in tongues people understood them even though they were not speaking the same languages. So its unbiblical if you "speak in tongues" but nobody understands it.
Hmm... honestly that would be a funny troll to go to one of these churches and be like "He is speaking in neo swahili! He just said that Jesus knos de waye!"
Classic case of Emperors clothes
I would strongly urge everyone to keep the Sabbath holy (Friday sunset to Saturday sunset)
What’s funny..is how Sunday became the church’s “sabbath” day, due to if I’m correct, a Roman king changing it? Might be wrong.
Could've also been because Jesus' resurrection was on Sunday, I've heard that somewhere, but I don't know
That’s also true. But the original sabbath was Saturday
Yes, at some point it was changed to Sunday. Most likely for one of those two possible reasons
Actually Jesus is the Sabbath
Been a bit since I have seen such spice in the comments...
because we rest in him(Jesus)
news to me
Dude what the heck, as a Catholic he is so wrong.
How did cops even get dragged into that? Regardless of your stance that just seems to come out of nowhere
Yea. I am not Catholic, so I couldn't speak to that @Scout . But I wanted to knock his trolling Butt down a peg.
I'm a Protestant and have my differences/reservations about Roman Catholic doctrine but I agree that that guy is incorrect.
Thanks guys
But the way he said it sounded like we were the religion of the devil. We're not, not trying to be mean but from my religion I was taught that we were first christian religion. Because in the Bible Jesus said to Peter from upon this rock you will lead my Church. Indicating that Peter is the first pope. And the pope is the leader of the Catholic Church.
@Scout I still don't understand the whole 'Peter is the first Pope' can come from that verse, in the context it sounded more like that the confession that Jesus is Lord he will build the Church, Jesus is the head of the church, but I don't want to get into an argument about that now.
Oh okay
Yeah the rock that crushed the statue from Daniels vision
For anyone that makes a big deal about "Saturday" sabbath read Romans 14
Peter was given the keys of Heaven
hence why the Vatican has those two keys
I'm sure they're not literal keys but rather secrets
or two ways to guarantee your way into heaven
@Son Dank Chapter and verse?
Matthew 16:19
What makes you think that it was exclusive to Peter?
16:19 keys of the kingdom of heaven. Peter is given the authority to admit entrance into the kingdom through preaching the gospel, an authority that is subsequently granted to all who are called to proclaim the gospel. (Note the contrast with the scribes and Pharisees, who shut the kingdom in people’s faces, neither entering themselves nor allowing others to enter; see 23:13.) In Acts, Peter is the apostle who first preaches the message of the kingdom to the Jews at Pentecost (Acts 2), to the Samaritans (Acts 8), and to the Gentiles (Acts 10). whatever you bind … whatever you loose. Peter also has authority to exercise discipline concerning right and wrong conduct for those in the kingdom, an authority that is not exclusive to Peter but is extended to the church as a whole in Matt. 18:18; cf. John 20:23. Jesus delegates authority to human leaders in the church who are called to govern his church on earth, under his ultimate authority, through the application of his Word.
While that portion of the text is Jesus talking to Peter it can also be for the church as a whole.
